I have been guiding hairdressers for year's to give me this cut. Very few get it right. I first got it in the late 60s from a guy hairdresser from California. Thank you. Yeah, but the stylist thinks that’s too much time, so they pressure you that they’re going to do their own way, and insist it’ll turn out the same…I hate it when stylists won’t do it the way you want it done. I’ll never go back to the stylist that fully watched this tutorial, and do d their own thing afterwards…so, I will Never go back to them, I just wasn’t satisfied! 😝😬

I had my hairdresser in Carlsbad & Maui give me this haircut. It’s fabulous! Grows out beautifully even after 7 weeks still looks good. Very happy and will keep this look for a long while. Mahalo Nui Loa🌺
I love this cut but no-one seems to be able to do it for me! I have exceptionally thick curly hair although when wet it is straight. I always had it razored and now I cannot get anyone to agree to it or indeed they say oh you mustn't use thinning out scissors on your hair! HOw to I get to persuade them that my hair needs razoring and thinning as it is the only way to tame my hair. Thank you so much.

I did not know this haircut is an official cut. I had my daughter cut a chin length bob for me and slowly but surely began hacking away using this same guide line. I made my layers a little longer going more for a Princess Diana cut! ha ha You can do this yourself! You just need a 3 way mirror. I also left the bangs longer at first, you do that by over directing towards the back of your head. Now I have them a bit shorter. Great cut, do it!!! It also grows out into early 80's feathered cut! Love it!

I like this but not that, can you do the bangs in this pic with the back from this pic? I used words like textured, lots of layers, piecey fringe bangs to the side, messy look etc.... to no avail....Until now! Thank you Sir for getting it all right with this cut! I have grown out my pixie into a nice little bob. I had the graduated bob and it has grown out unevenly because of that SO, without compromising much length (although my hair grows really quickly), I am taking this video to my barber. I want my layers a bit longer so I don't feel like I'm going back to pixie land, but I think the overall shape and the layers are perfect and will lay very nicely while growing out. I have always kept my hair layered, so this will be perfect. Glad I found this video!!
Second time trying to cut my wifes hair. Corn Teen Buty Salon. Went from long hair to short. Scared to death I was gonna mutilate her head. Only took three hours or so to cut her hair. All turned out fine and she has an awesome haircut with your help. We picked up some hair cuttin scissors from Amazon, but didn't have the thinning shears or the razor. Lightly snipped straight into her bang area (seemed like a good idea at the time) Gotta see if you have a video on what kind of shampoo/conditioner or whatever to keep her hair from becoming frizzed out. Thinned out fine hair.
I took some screen shots after pausing the video on a few views of the cut, good views at 15:25, 17:27, 17:48 and 18:32. Once I had screen shot I copied to Word and cropped it out so its just the haircut and save, print or take a pic with your camera and save it there. I got the cut and LOVE it!

Krasnoludek you can ask your hairstylist to cut your hair into a pixie then if u want tell him/her that u want layers for volume maybe face framing layers

EXACTLY! A great layered haircut allows you to go LONGER (and still look good) without having to go back into the salon within the month.
