Ask yourself this. How do we as people treat those who cut the line normally in everyday life? I think Joaquin is pointing out with great alacrity that this is what he doesn't enjoy about Jake Paul and his "performances". I have zero skin in the game as I don't watch, but I can tell you that I'm the first one to yell out "back of the line buddy" when people cut my queue. He shouldn't get to pay his way to the front of the line and still be given the same credibility or respect that seasoned boxers get. Great talk.
Exactly, it's also why I will continue to suspect that his fights are not completely legit for as long as he keeps winning. If he's shameless enough to buy his way into the sport to make himself look good, I wouldn't be shocked if he was also willing to offer his opponents an extra paycheck behind the scenes and off the record in the event that he wins. Anderson and Tyron both seemed to avoid opportunities to deal damage and seemed to hit Jake with a lot of uncharacteristically light shots when they did connect, that it almost seems like they were deliberately going easy on him. You could argue that they just weren't able to land a lot of solid shots on Jake because of his skill as a boxer, but I personally find that to be unlikely.

Gotta disagree with Joe on this one, it’s pretty transparent that Jake is just doing what’s good for Jake. Using actual fighter pay issues to prop himself up, also for such a good “promoter” his fights barely run up any numbers. Fixing a fight against a 47 year old isn’t a good look imo.

The only person Jake choose to fight was Hasim Rahman but he missed weight.
I don’t think that’s hypocritical. They’re still fighters. If they wanna fight, he thinks they should be able to fight, he just wishes for quality treatment afterwards.

Joe once said Ronda Rousey would beat up male fighters.....
She could kick your ass

I don’t see how anyone can applaud Jake for taking great fighters that are years out of their prime and beating them in a sport they don’t even do. It’s just disrespectful to see a great like Anderson lose to a guy he would destroy in his prime.
The schict is that he’s “getting mma guys paid” through his fights but I couldn’t agree more. People say Paul had skills, so he should just enter the pro boxing circuit and fight through the ranks. He’d gain a ton of fans and respect win or lose. What he’s doing now is a fucking joke
Its not disrespectful. Silva is a grown ass man . Nobody forced him to fight. He wanted to
Why did people wanted jake to fight Silva in first place then? 😂 The narrative changes so fast.
The real disrespect is that MMA Legends like Silva have to take such fights to get some money because the UFC pays cheap while they were active.
And we are talking about Silva, a multiple time champ, he got Nike as a Sponsor, Burger King and so on...
@@hwsjshxhsj he has an 8 million dollar net worth ufc gave him everything he could ever want and when he was obv out of his prime and just out there getting hurt they let him go.
Joe is giving credit to the wrong person. Jake is not smart by any metric. He has a team of people who know their stuff and he follows a script. I also appreciate Buckley's approach on how to break into Boxing. If shit Paul did the did the same I wouldn't have any qualms with that. Instead he's fighting old guys.
Wow ur so wrong he’s the one in the ring not the coach, he’s said he do something and he has and gets views he is smart and ur an example he has u against him but u still pay attention to anything he dies

@@maaaaaap Right. Guys like Jake aren't the masterminds behind his act, yes he has some talent in the ring, but he definitely has a team of people advising him on how to maximize his popularity, and the right people to fight to make the biggest stir if he wins, and who he'd have the best chance of winning against.
I definitely recommend you watch the whole thing, buckley is a proper g his passion for the game is unquestionable!
JOe is a beta cuck has been for yearrrsss im sure his wife has 4 to 5 guys over a month to get some Dick from a real man that doesnt grift like a loser im sure next week joe will be saying he loves banging dudes lol
It wasn't fixed, you can't just call a fight fixed cause you don't like a guy.
Your excuses don’t even make sense. One minute you're saying "Jake is fixing his fights" the next minute you're saying "Jake is scared to fight a pro boxers". If he was fixing his fights, why tf would he be scared to fight a pro, if he could just pay them to take the fall. Just stop and think about that for a minute. Use logic.
@@stevedavidson5038 dude one of the guys he fought said in their contract was a no knockout clause. These are exhibition boxing matches being wheeled on via PPV. Come on now, this is professional wrestling, don’t be a mark.
@@daken5566 That's not true at all, that bs claim was made by Dillon Danis in reference to Tyron Woodley's contract, Danis has never fought Jake and provided zero evidence to back this claim, Tyron Woodley actually said there was a clause where he would get an extra 500k if he knocked Jake out. The fact you don't even question what Danis said shows you're just believing what you want to hear. Oh and none of Jake's fights are exhibitions, you're thinking of his brother Logan, all of Jake's fights have been official pro bouts sanctioned by the commission, you can check boxrec for confirmation.

But Jake is major cringe
Exactly. It's not our money, or his, that Jake Paul is making.
It's this automatic seal-clap for someone who makes money. Like, reflexive. "Good for him, man!" "God bless!"
One time Joe had to catch himself when he said "Good for him" after someone made a lot of money doing tours with BLACKWATER.

Wise words from a future legend!
Only one to blame would be the UFC for not only not paying fighters enough so that they need to sell out at the end of their careers but to limit their sponsorship deals, and form a union. They do everything to keep these warriors under their control and Jake Paul is not only getting them paid, but exposing the UFC and in the process making millions. He’s the winner here because he’s playing it smart, I don’t think he’ll win against real fighters in their prime but it’s a terrible look for MMA.

Yes, he is exposing a very real issue in a real fight game. People take the shows themselves way too seriously. Then he says, "And then he says we won't stand up for ourselves on the fighter pay issue. We can handle it." Um but we've already established yall are not willing to stand up for yourselves... not a single one of you has and yall are still the only major sport without a union.
Then he says, "Hell yeah I'd get into boxing. That's where the money's at." 30 seconds later, "But I wouldn't get into it for money."
That dude was saying stupid shit all conversation long. He was not spitting facts, and you need to check yourself if you can't even see the contradictions in his own words.

I understand what he’s saying. Jake preaches to care about the health and well-being of MMA fighters, yet he handpick’s older guys who have already been buzzed, and proceeds to give them even more CTE. It’s hypocritical.
All those guys Jake fought called him out so this argument is dumb.
@@ryanleonidas6839 I’m not sure that’s entirely accurate. From what I’ve seen Jake calls out a handful of guys, then picks whoever responds.
@@stepkickking9868 Actually no he didn’t, Ben askren called Jake out after the Nate Robinson fight, Tyron pulled up on Jake after his fight with Ben askren in the locker room then called him out on Twitter, Tommy Fury made dozens of videos on Jake calling him out and Dana white called out Jake to fight Anderson Silva. The only person Jake choose to fight was Hasim Rahman but he missed weight.
I don’t think that’s hypocritical. They’re still fighters. If they wanna fight, he thinks they should be able to fight, he just wishes for quality treatment afterwards. If Anderson Silva never fought again, he doesn’t particularly care about his health when he talks about “fighter’s medical care”, because he wouldn’t be a fighter anymore.
