    I guess it may not apply the same way in pregnancy and breastfeeding, but there IS a sugar intake limit recommended by WHO which is around 5 teaspoons (25g) of added sugar per day. Checking nutritional tables on products will show you that most of the processed food already has LOTS of sugar added!
