I like it. Boxy body, no driver aids and a v8 👌
And yes I am keen for this type of video most definitely
Thanks for letting us know!
Recently came into a '96 Mercury Cougar. Only 95,000 mi. Currently trying to restore it to it back to a 6. Lol. Good video👍🏻
Nice! They're neat cars. What engine does it have?
@@AnthonyJ350 got a 1997 3800 v6 xr7 super beat car but the engine runs super strong, mainly used as a work car but I wanna restore it. Currently just using the 03 Monte Carlo ss but these 3.8s run strong man the Monte and cougar haven’t had any major problems! Love em!
@@JacobXavier-xj2zk It's amazing how the pushrod 3.8L V6s from Ford and GM were so reliable compared to most newer vehicles.
Nice car love it
Ya they're pretty neat!
I have a 1991 mercury cougar white with a chrome kit and real chrome rims with white wall tires. And a mad ignition system. No power???? Mine will power stall the tires off the rims love my car. I’ve had it since 2001. Only thing I got from my grandfather.
2nd engine 30over rebuilt transmission. 3.8L !!!
They're durable. I had a 1992 Thunderbird. The 3.8L has 140HP and 215 ft-lbs of torque. It's ok, but not really much power. Especially compared to GM's 3800 V6 that made closer to 200HP of the same Era.

Thank you for saying im over having a master stroke willing to call the Ford House . OCT NOV. DEC. Or Sept Oct Nov. Only 3 months
Hope you're doing better!
They switch behind the seat in the owners manual says its for emergencies if the seat was locked in an accident. Lol so your thinking it broken and it not…just read owners manual or googling before making your videos and saying silly stuff.
Thanks for the feedback!
Do you have a link to the online manual?

It is not necessary to use the emergency seatback release lever for rear seat entry or exit. The seatback remains unlocked with normal usage and locks only during emergency stopping, upon impact, or on steep downhill grades. The inertia seatback latch will allow the seatback to rotate approximately 5 ̊ forward before it locks. The release is provided only to unlock the seatback when parked on steep downhill grades or after a collision.
