A nieghbor girl who was 6 years older than me had one of these that was bought new by her father. I've always wanted one since. The style is like the perfect mix of luxury, muscle, and modest futuristic without going too far in any direction.
I was very inspired by this car after a cousin drove one from Oscoda Michigan to Los Angeles California and back...proved they were reliable.
My mom blessed me with this as my first car in high school, man was I lucky. Leather interior wood grain sunroof, and not to mention the 5.0 V8. My best friend had a mustang stick shift and we used to race all the time Id kick his ass all over the place. I absolutely loved that car. I totally did not take care of it and man I regret it to this day. Great car overall.
I know Im asking randomly but does any of you know a method to log back into an instagram account??
I stupidly lost my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Carmelo Jackson Instablaster ;)
@Fox Chaim i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Fox Chaim It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my ass :D
@Carmelo Jackson Happy to help :D
$27,649 for a Cougar in '92?! That was awfully high back then - even for the 25th Anniversary model! (11/13/2021)
I had one just like this... in 1997(it was a gift from my dad) $20.00 dllrs to fill the gas tank in South Florida..!!
I had a 93 supercoupe with that same button operated power antenna. I preferred it that way as I very rarely listened to the radio since I had an in dash mp3 cd player so I always kept it down.
My Mom had a beige 1992 Mercury Cougar Brougham very good car didn't drive good in the winter
I did notice one difference between the U.S version and Canadian version of the Mercury Cougar/Ford Thunderbird siblings. The Canadian versions don't have the annoying motorized seat belts that the U.S versions have. I guess Canada has different safety standards compared to the U.S.
Correct. And iirc you couldn't import any american cars with those automatic seatbelts into Canada.
2:04 And if I find this car, I will get into it.
I didn't know 1992, they got d r, l lights that's probably from a different country
How come all of these have half leather/half cloth seats?? My 92 ls has full blue leather
The velour & cloth trim was standard, full leather optional.
"A large car" Haaaaaa!!!!!!! Thats funny!
Why is that funny
Pretty large if you ask a normal person… Longest wheelbase coupe in the era at 113 inches, just shy of the crown Vic. In fact the largest non truck model in the lineup second to those. Nearly 4000 pounds and a massive trunk and the exact same length to a G Body coupe that aren’t exactly considered small. Maybe there was bigger in the 70s, this was as big as it got in the 90s.

200hp out of a 5L V8........omg
Yep, but it is a hell of a lot more reliable than the new 5.0
It's very detuned. You have to do a little modifications to use it's real power
And they were measuring HP to the rear wheels, not the flywheel, like they do today.
Yeah, they had to use a more restrictive intake manifold on the 91-93 mn12 Cougar and Thunderbird. Due to their aerodynamic shape, the mustang's intake manifold wouldn't fit under the hood.
Was still better than the 150hp non HO 5.0 the 88 Cougar had.
Had a '93 and it was horribly under powered with its crappy 3.8 v6
Was it reliable?
