I like the approach of keeping the quarter note pulse with the right hand but doing the 2 and 4 on the snare- much more intuitive than other approaches I have seen!
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + correct.. all the + are on the rack tom accenting the + of 2..floor tom on 1 and 3, snare on 2 and 4 and 4 on floor BD. Is this correct? I Love it. I've been playing it all wrong. Thank you for sharing. Just wish there was a count in I am having a hard time starting it but I will get it eventually.
Everything she does makes sense, orchestration, dynamics, tone. I've played several of these songs, but her choices are epiphanic.
