+AaronArmstrong030792 The distant grumbling getting ever closer always sends shivers down my spine. There's just this commanding presence that the HST's have over everything else
Stourbridge junction could be interesting if you get a chance. it's a bit far out but gets plenty of variety including the parry 139's! Great video by the way!
hi it is tom your vids are really cool and it is like your telling the history of all of the trains. me and my nan saw a first grate weadton and ther was a man in the back feet on deck reading a newspapper
Thank you very much Tom for saying so I'm glad you enjoy the videos that I produce, I always think it's great to see when drivers are just kicking back and relaxing whilst controlling a HST
I was there a few weeks ago,its a good spot, been spotting on the great western mainline a lot this year get plenty of shots before the wires go up.You should try sonning cutting too.
Great video! You're spending more time on the GWML :) You should go to Acton Main Line definitely recommended! :) I also recommend you to go back to London Paddington
Thanks very much :) I thought I'd break away from the WCML for a while and focus more on the GEML, GWML, ECML and the MML for the majority of the year.
The Great Eastern Trainspotter that's why from next week a lot of my vids are going to be on the GEML. I'm going to start at Chelmsford and finish at Needham Market
Great Western Mainline has been given the go ahead to build a tunnel from Reading train station to Heathrow terminal 5 also get your videos and photos as all bridges that go over the mainline are beaning replaced and you cant see over them for safety
don't know if anyone has seen that most of the signals on the GWML are beaning changed from gantry to post and they are going to do box tunnel on Easter weekend
There's a church on the outside of cholsey that you can park at. From there you walk past it and through the graveyard. At the back you'll find a pathway that leads to a dirt road. That will take you to the bridge that over looks the railway
I had always thought they had specialised car/van wagons already like the type you see running up and down most of the network. These wagons however I'm not overly sure on, for whatever reason I had always assumed they were hauling steel.
I know what you mean, I went here 2 years ago and I had to stand in the adjacent field because as you say the views have been ruined by the electrification
That guy lurking still at 24:02 would make me nervous...would have to chuck him off bridge or tell him to fuck off..lol 28:26 still stood looking at you with hands in pockets hes a fucking gay lurker watch out
LOL am i good or am i good. You are good :) laughing nice tones
Thanks very much :)
Those approaching HST's sounds awesome on ear/headphones. :D

Lovely video, great commentary! I liked seeing Didcot in the background.
remyworldpeace thanks very much :) It's certainly a great vantage point to film from
Great video. Well done.
Thanks very much :)

I can't say I've heard of there before but I'll look into it and perhaps venture over to it later in the year
Another Great Video.
You never fail to impress me.
Just in case(only my personal oppinion)

Its a lovely spot to film at certainly
I'll have a look there at some point
Nice video mate! Cholsey is a great station I still need to go there. By the way think those silver carriers things haul cars.
Thanks very much, I really recommend this bridge to film from.
you have so many diesel trains active for passenger transport. here in the netherlands a few lines are on diesel, but most is electrified.
A lot of our railways still run on diesel power, only a few railways here have catenary power
please can you go to Tilehurst it's such a fantastic station to film at
I'll probably be there at some stage
@@Tornado922 Tilehurst video was great

***** You were spending a bit of time on the ECML but the only stations you've done on the GEML are Ipswich and Stowmarket

Darren Carey I hadn't really noticed to be honest
Awesome.😃👍
Can you do any south western main line videos?
Jarred has done the South Western Mainline
When will you upload the Chelmsford video?
I'll be going there tomorrow afternoon. So it should be uploaded by Tuesday morning
How do you get to the bridge that you were on?
There's a church on the outside of cholsey that you can park at. From there you walk past it and through the graveyard. At the back you'll find a pathway that leads to a dirt road. That will take you to the bridge that over looks the railway
What out of the 2 stations do you recommend me to film at?
Manchester or York?
Well both to be honest. Their both brilliant stations in their own rights.
***** I hink I might do York first :)
The Great Eastern Trainspotter cool. You'll definitely enjoy it
***** Ok :)
Plenty of action mate another good video liked and subscribed
Thank you very much. It's greatly appreciated
What's your next station?
Chelmsford
yay its off to bournemouth.
They are for car & vans trains mate???

Hi tornado 992 is Keenan from Australia I like your train vlogs can you please do a steam garla soon see you later

it's so sad that this bridge location ( was one of the best locations in all of the UK ) has been ruined by electrification
I know what you mean, I went here 2 years ago and I had to stand in the adjacent field because as you say the views have been ruined by the electrification
the new great Western Train Class 801 Hitachi is now in testing look out for it from Bristol to London route
the train is diesel and electric so it can run on lines that don't have overhead wires
blue wagons are for cars...BMW use them for minis..
That guy lurking still at 24:02 would make me nervous...would have to chuck him off bridge or tell him to fuck off..lol 28:26 still stood looking at you with hands in pockets hes a fucking gay lurker watch out
