Nice. But just a note. Putting support behind the hinges doesn't allow fir door adjustments (truing etc). Learned this while watching like 50 videos before I put in a large steel, prehung French door.
Thanks, yes the normal way is to shim. They wanted the doorway as wide as possible and I knew I would be making the door to fit the doorway. It takes longer to do it this way and it requires more skill and patience but the goal was the largest possible doorway and they did not want to lose even 1/8 inch to shim space.
Excellent work sir

What do you mean? I’m wanting to make a doorway to outside where my a/c is. Any advice?
If I ever have to torture someone I’m just gonna find this video and play the fast forward parts as loud as possible.
Great idea !
It was disappointing that you fast forwarded over a lot of it. I have no idea what to do after cutting the drywall. It was great up to that point!
thanks
Follow up video/finished product coming??
Thanks for reminding me. I will put that up soon
so the most MOST important part u just skipped what is up with that???
Covered on other vids
Was thinking the same! Ugh. Now to find the other videos. Was really enjoying this video until the fast forward part never ended
My reason to enlarge my door way is to gt drywall up to the attic.
Perfect....hope it works out well for you
