How To Paint A Snowy Owl - Acrylic Painting Tutorial - Beginner Artist

In this video I will be talking you through the painting process to create this painting of a snowy owl.
I used student grade acrylic paint for this painting, as it has a more liquid/loose consistency that is easy to use for beginner painters. I also used a filbert, detail and square brushes, and a pencil for my initial sketch. This painting was done on a 16 x 20 inch stretched canvas - but you could use whatever size and type of canvas or wood that you would like! Make sure that your canvas or wood is gessoed/primed, if it hasn't already been done before you paint (canvases that come white are already pre-primed).
