In this episode i will try to repair Logitech Z313 2.1 speakers. They have no signs of power going in so probably there's a problem with built in power supply.

That model is great (for the $), mine works since 2009, 11 years. But the subwoofer stopped working
Did you find a solution to this, or did you have to buy new speakers?
These speakers are fucking garbage, so many people saying one speaker isnt working after a month or two for no reason and ive got the same thing, the cable itself is the issue it's just decided to break, you have to twist and jam the aux in to get it to properly work
my speakers suddenly not working.. the green light shut off not really sure whats the problem.. the headphone jack is working.. i also noticed my extension plug connected to this speaker went broken.. not sure if its short circuit or somthing
Alright so question my z313 speakers were working a couple days ago but ever since I’ve been playing with my headset plugged into my controller stopped today because I wanted to listen to music but when I did unplug my headset no sound came from my sub nor speakers what does this mean did they like just go shit to bed I’m really confused because they were working a few days prior before using my headset please anything helps
I had no sound in left speaker, the first thing is to try look is at the connector for the speaker that has no sound, squeeze the connector inwards so it makes harder contact with the output on the sub-woofer box's amplifier board, the connector is loose and making poor contact with the amplifier output connection. if that doesn't fix it than you must unscrew the amplifier board and check for loose capacitors, you must reflow the solder because the capacitor solder joint has broken loose and is making poor contact
I have these speakers hooked up to a computer and all audio cuts off when the bass hits at low volumes the audio doesn't cut off. What could I look into?
Hi! I have a similar problem with my device I think. It worked for like 1 month. Now that I connected again on my PC, the sound is super low. There is no way I can make it go higher. I think there is no power going to the speakers. Do you know what kind of problem it might be? The controller has a green light on, but the sound is almost dead on all 2 speakers and the subwoofer.
Hi, I would recommend you to check them on other audio source (phone, mp3 player) to be sure that speakers are the problem. If yes, you should check continuity of all wires (input jack to remote and remote to main board). If that will be ok, you can try to short potentiometer cause it can also be a problem. If all that tests will not provide solution it means that there is some problem with the amplifier board and that will be harder to diagnose.
Mine wont work at the left side...is there anyway i can find the spare part for this..😭😭😭😭
Hullo. My small.speaker is working but with very low sound that is almost cannot be heard. I have issue with TURNING my entire speaker system ON. I dont see any light on the control button either. Do you think the woofer might not be working or the rope might have some issues with it ? Thanks.
I'm done with Logitech speakers they do not last. I had two systems fail on me. The latest system z523 lasted 6 months and it will not power on nor is the orange light indicator illuminated on the volume control. QC is poor at best. Great sound short life span.. Planned Obsolescence putting out inferior products intentionally so that the consumer will keep buying more...Not me moving on to a better vendor.

HOW DID i END UP BACK HERE. You need help. output of PS is going to be DC, you tried reading it with meter set to AC. Put it all out of cabinet, reconnect everything, then troubleshoot. Enjoy Beethoven as you work. Well three months ago I checked this out as I had one dead channel, now both channels are dead but woofer still works. So I guess I'm going to have to take it apart and fix it. Amp Ic is probably gone bad. So take it apart, get IC number order on. Check all caps get those too. Make a crude block diagram and schematic of output from IC to speakers. Think amp chip is a STA540 four channel amp chip. Two channels are for left and right, other two channels are bridged for sub. IC costs less than $7.00 at Mouser. Both speakers are open circuit so those are shot. They may have just failed because of low quality, since outputs are protected from DC volt from amp by capacitors. So we'll check that out tomorrow. I'll be back.

Hi, the problem was caused by dead SB5100 Schottky Diode (100V maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage,
5A maximum average forward rectified current and with DO-201AD package). Check second part of that video. You can find them online for about 1$ (ebay, electronic stores).
Hey there, what if your speakers have power but the sub is not working?

i check mine and the power supply are good but still wont power on, is there any way i can by pass to turn on from the wired remote, because i think the wired remote are the problem
You can check cable continuity (from base to remote).
Can you tell how much V output from that power supply 😢

High sound you mean loud or high frequency?
My speakers work fine but the subwoofer doesn’t work how do I fix this this ? (the subwoofer works when the speakers are not plugged into the connector)
There may be something shorted in speakers cables, so you should check that first.

Yes, you can replace the 3.5 jack or the power cable fairly easy.

hey since you said that, you might know what problem i am having. i have this speaker system called sonicgear. it is stereo. But the subwoofer is not working properly. it produce very slow bass. i might just say no bass at all. I literally have to put my ear next to the speaker driver to hear the sound. Do you know what might be the problem? I opened the case and did not see any blown component on the PCB. All the solder are also fine. I'll be very thankful if you can help
@@lolLOL-ff1nr is there a knob your can turn on the back to turn it up or a screw? If not you might have to change the audio setting, like music, movie, surround etc
@@crownedmedia7936 yes there is a knob for the bass. But i already spin it to the max. Still nothing.
Just now i tinkered with the subwoofer and the bass is finally there. I think the sound is normal. Like a normal subwoofer bass. BUT, when i play a song on my desktop, at first when the song starts everything is normal. The bass is kinda good actually. But when the song gets to the middle part(sometimes it will not even reach the middle), the bass will slowly fade away. To the point where it cant be heard anymore. Just like before. Only the bass is dissappearing.
The bass will only comes back after i restart the system(unplug and plug it back to power). Then everything will happen again. Like a loop. The bass fades away, i restart, the bass is there, then it fade away again, then i restart, then it comes back, like that. Damn this thing is making me go insane man.
