Wow haven't seen a protoss beat a zerg late game through starving them. I've seen terran do it that way but not a protoss. Trap and Stats the heroes of this season
The problem is always the wining players on the ladder about imbalance and shit. Instead of wining like a kid, they should try to figure out how to break a so called „imbalanced situation“. Instead of that, they keep wining and after a pro break some „imbalanced situation“ all stop wining but they can’t execute it like the pro gamer anyways. Stupid noobs.

I feel like there's a missing piece in the Air protoss units. It doesn't feel right that Corruptor beat everything they can hit. They're such a uninteresting unit that way. They don't even have any kind of interesting micro potential. Just big stupid squids that kill air units.

It’s missing a splash attack or spell unit to punish a corrupter cloud. All other races have good ones: terran has raven, liberator, thor, zerg has viper, infestor and protoss only has storm which corruptors can just fly out of. Maybe if storm has a stun effect for flying units only
@Thomas Lam Do Archons count? But yeah, Protoss doesn’t really seem to have a dedicated air splash unit, and Void Rays don’t seem to be able to catch up long enough to do damage. Nothing really has the old Corsair’s role. Looking at the Mothership though, I guess one could try time warping then storming?
@Ron 3 man that was such a long time ago, at the end of wings of liberty it was broodlord infestor, hots was the reign of terrible swarmhosts games that made zerg a snorefest I like the current zerg, the games seem like a total flood of units with lurkers holding positions, its actually such a fun time of zerg. Maybe lurkers could be a little slower to unburrow or less health but its a fun style. Before the removal of infested terrans, infestor broodlord was a nightmare to see over and over. So I get why people are frustrated.
@Ron 3 legit two years ago protoss could hold a 200 200 army with just a warp prism and two immortals it was insane how dumb that was, all in's finished the games every time, then the nerf happened and protoss got deleted, it wasn't just serral lmao
@Nooctae Each spine that spikes out of the ground has an individual splash zone with a radius of 0.5. There are 10 spines in the attack that are each offset about 1 full cell from each other from the Lurker to the target unit. There is a 0.125 second delay between each protruding spine, resulting in a full 1.25 seconds to fire an entire line of spines. This makes it possible to dodge the outer spines with reactive micro.
I’m wondering, should lurkers and banelings do friendly fire? Disruptors and siege tanks and widow mines all do friendly fire, but the zerg units dont, this would prevent 30 banelings from being able to just roll forwards, and it would make it more viable to use them in small amounts, lurkers would still be amazing base defense but to use offensively it wouldn’t just be walk forwards and burrow with the armh
Friendly fire would make them terrible. What they should do for banes is remove the explosion on death, they should actually have to attack, which would make them trickier to try to move into the midst of the enemy army. If a bane dies, it should just be gone, no explosion. As for lurkers, get rid of the absurd range.

There are two cases, 1. you simply lying with your MMR (bdw. is 4K MMR, barely Masters 3 and thats the start to really understand the game mechanics, so nothing to proof your understanding) 2. you cheese all day long and you have no idea how the game actually works.
The protoss endgame air army is trash. Looks good on paper, but I've never seen it win. It either gets bum-rushed and disappears in seconds, or it gets taken out one by one by abduct. But man, what a throw by Dark in G1. After the main air battle, if he actually used his corruptors to camp the protoss main base and threaten buildings/snipe air units as they come out, instead of idling them in the middle of the map, I think the result would've been very different.

Everybody says Trap is the successors of Classic, but their style are totally different from each other. Classic was more like sOs or herO. He usually focused on early and mid-time games with his builds and micros. Of course he was also good at late game, but not as good as Rain or Stats. But Trap, on the other hand, he is more like Stats. He sometimes try early or midgame finisher with cool strats and micros, but he has less skills and senses than Parting or Classic. Trap usually like to go lategame and he is really good at it. Like Stats, he like to be a shield, not a spear. Classic was a spear. They are different.

Gotta say first and foremost that I’m a cynical troll. That being said as the game developed to the later stages into what Im calling new starcraft 2 theory. Youre starting to see the game develop into the mass spiraling war of civilizations. Half the map owned by each side. Strategic outposts from bastion units. Darks ling run for ex by stopping the upgrade proved zerg still owned the map with his mobility advantage but he never did anything more with it. At 6k resources the players are newbs. Ive seen serral burn off his drones and force embarkment starve a protoss to death while dark and trap are still busy playing theory craft. lolol gsl? More like gwl? gettin fuckin wrekd leagueZ if only the europeans could get to this level the military of the game would be insane with tactics achieved in their community from clems constant pressure. Im optimistic for SC2z future. Wait until they figure out how to sacrifice things in response to map geography lol

Trap just got 3 games against Reynor in Bo7. He suddenly becomes so good recently.

Agreed, they got too much hp. Can pretty much also almost stutter-step by moving quickly, burrowing, and attacking. It's so strong...
