No, they'll do a "LE" ladder edition of the map that widens the ramp. Rightfully so, that is total bullshit. The wall-off cannon rush was intentionally nerfed by putting destructible debris at the base of the ramp near the end of wings of liberty because you could block zerg in the main with two pylons. Being able to do it with 1 is absurdly broken, especially now that shield batteries exist so you can make any unit proxied and heal it infinitely. That's such an unfair advantage.

Came here from Artosis's stream the next day when he talks about it. That first match is just tragic, that's not fair on Solar at all. I genuinely think he deserves a formal apology for being made to play on what's arguably a bugged map from the invisible walls around the pylon and being eliminated in part due to it. This kind of sloppiness isn't okay for what a lot of of consider the one of the best multiplayer games of all time. Both players are fantastic, Parting was just using the tools at his disposal, but that was more certainty more frustrating than entertaining to watch

Easiest way to deal with these sort of proxy cannon/battery rushes is to make it so buildings have a sort of shield overheat where they can only be re-shielded once or twice. Doing it this way instead of a fixed amount also allows protoss to still defend their nexus and larger buildings with shield batteries while not allowing for shield battery spam on buildings in an aggressive way.

It's not his job to fix the map, or tell solar how to play on it.

Does the organizer want to ruin their game? How can they not prevent this from happening. There is no sports ethics and balance at all. GSL is no longer a commendable event. This kind of thing is too disappointing and disgusting. Just like a fighter took out a pistol in a UFC fight and Mario Yamasaki is there and even worse.

His fault both games 100%. First game as a pro he should be aware of such a possibility, second game he just ignored a probe which went into his base.
