Becuase of your tips, I went out today & had one 45” follow to the boat, AND landed one 42” , had the boat in 12 feet of water casting towards 15-20 feet with a big bulldog :))

What kind of line/reel were you using?
Looks like a Shimano tranx with probably 80 pound braid
What water temp range do you consider summer?
Depends on the lake. Clear water doest reach the same temps. Usually like 73+ when they really get their metabolism going
Too bad all the Musky content is no longer produced :(
