Traveled to Israel for the first time in the summer of 1985. Our first morning was in Jerusalem and we were staying at the Herbrew U dorms. A group of us got up early, gathered on one of our balconies and listened to the Voice of Peace. It is still one of the highlights of my life.
Listened to you in Egypt, peacekeeping in 75, and again in 78 in South Lebanon. Listening to "Stairway to Heaven" while the minarets are offering morning prayers was the ultimate. An experience in my life I will never forget. Thank You,, Toda Raba Shalom :-)

I was in Israel that summer for the first time too. Sadly, I could neve seem to pick up the station even on 4 subsequent visits.
