Gonna be ordering one soon for my brothers Honda! You guys should show it installed in the vehicle ! That would be awesome just to give out ideas to people on mounting applications!
Just ordered two for my Miata and Prelude! Ive been attempting to install bluetooth amplifier boards by tapping the L and R channels of the oem radio as well as power and ground. Although, sound quality is not great. Probably due to the low Wattage output of these factory radios. Will try these though!
No, we were personally not happy with the call quality with other aftermarket bluetooth head units. They also interfere with the answering of the call and you must annoyingly switch the call over to your phone. We have chosen to eliminate this feature entirely and the Ghost Box will not interfere with any incoming calls. They can simply be answered on your phone without any hassle.
We have constructed a wire harness that allows for this function and currently have it installed in one of our shop vehicles. It is not something that we currently offer but is something that we may look into in the future. Thank you for your interest in our products, we greatly appreciate it!
@@JordanDistributorsinc I am interested in this as well. I was disappointed to see it's not a split wiring harness so you can connect your stock radio AND the ghostbox. Easy enough to DIY one I guess thanks for making this!
The Ghost Box will be back in stock very soon. We will be releasing more info in the coming days on our Instagram. Be sure to follow us there for updates
Noticed the Mazda option is new. Does this work with the 1999 Miata with the Bose factor sound system or will I need to get the universal option? PS found your products from Robbie Ferreira’s recent UA-cam video! Thanks!
For a Miata equipped with the Bose sound system, you will need to use our universal harness. Install will be the same as the install of any other head unit. The factory amplifier will need to be bypassed at the time of install. I hope this helps! If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to us, we are always happy to help!
There are 4 channels of audio out from this device. It can be used either straight to speakers or a line output converter can be used to add an amplifier/subwoofer
I'm thinking about ordering the ghost box but I haven't found any info on one question I have. Will my factory head unit have any functionality after installing the ghost box? Like my digital clock, volume control to the music playing from the ghost box etc. Or do you guys offer a bypass to use both? Thanks
With the included harness, the Ghost Box will directly replace the factory head unit and the factory head unit will no longer power on. However, we have had customers wire both to still function separately from each other. If this is something you are interested in, please send us an email. We’d be happy to explain that install process to you. Sales@JordanDistributors.com
We're so sorry that you're having issues with your Ghost Box. We've had a few people report that they have had some faint popping on start up. The popping is typically an issue with the speakers. Factory speakers are not rated to handle 50 watts. The Ghost Box is 50 watts per channel and most common head units are typically only 20 to 30 watts. You need to make sure that the speakers in your car are rated for at least 50 watts per channel. This should correct your problem. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us. We are always happy to help. Thank you!
Hey i recently purchased this for my 2003 Acura Cl Type S and successfully connected everything but no sound is coming from my speakers no chime or anything
You will need to bypass the factory amplifier when installing an aftermarket stereo in that vehicle. If you have any other questions or concerns please email us, we are always happy to help! JordanDistributors@gmail.com
110% highly recommend!! The ghost box was easy to install and use. The folks at JDI went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction, much appreciated!!
Thank you so much!!!

This is perfect for a tablet install!!!

Do you guys offer Ghost Boxes with just two channels? LOL
Just curious since my NB Miata only has the front left and right speakers.
No, we only offer a 4 channel version. You can simply not connect the rear channels if you'd like
Cool product picking up soon also 😎
Damn I need this, cool idea 👌🏽
does it go as loud as the car speakers go when controlling with the phone?
Yes, The Ghost Box is able to play very loud if you so choose. It is a very powerful 200W amplifier, 50W per channel
Do phones calls go threw like a BT speaker. Audio threw speakers and mic threw the cell phone?
No, we were personally not happy with the call quality with other aftermarket bluetooth head units. They also interfere with the answering of the call and you must annoyingly switch the call over to your phone. Is there preamp rca outputs
Is there a way to connect your radio just Incase you wanted to listen to a local radio station once in awhile?

Yes, the Ghost Box now has 2 pairs of RCA outputs as well as a remote wire for easy use with an amplifier and subwoofer
