I know this may sound weird but you look really pretty with the acne scars-with your eyebrows and lashes done! I guess the pattern of them make them look like freckles....
My best friend has this done because she has super acne prone skin with so much scarring and she said this is the literal BEST THING she’s done for her skin! Love it
Usually it’s one treatment, but you want to go somewhere good and reputable. Some people have had problems getting burns from chemical peels. There’s also something called a PLANT PEEL which I have super sensitive skin, and had it done, and it was very nice 👍
Please please please go see an endocrinologist and get your hormone levels checked and if your hormones are fine, then go get tested for food allergies or intolerances. There is something causing this acne. I am an esthetician and while peels and skincare are great and important, but there is something causing your acne. The peels might help the symptoms, but you need to figure out the root of the problem. A ton of my clients who have had severe acne found out they have hormonal imbalances or food intolerances♥️♥️♥️♥️
riley101ify I agree, I’m not a professional but I had similar acne and was told that the cheeks being the main problem area are usually indicative of hormonal acne.
Shae Annalese have you recently gotton on birth control or are you PMsing? It’s normal to experience breakouts sometimes, but if you have severe acne on your checks often, I would get it checked out. You can look up acne diagrams with causes on google images and it will explain what area you have acne in (the forehead or cheeks) and what is causing it (like hormonal, or lung problems)
My acne is all hormonal from the birth control methods I've tried. It's been almost a year on no birth control and I'm still suffering. Recently went to a dermatologist and she told me not only was it hormones ,but I was using the wrong stuff to clean and mositurize my skin. I used apricot scrub daily, shower gel, and lubriderm or vasiline lotion to moisturize. Yeah big no no she said. She perscribe me night cream that's like a mini chemical peel and oral medication. She also said only use face soaps like Neutrogena bar that say non comogenic. Also look for moisturizers that say the same like Cetaphil. 1 week of doing this and all my acne is gone.
Who else is watching this video in 2020?? I'm actually battling acne and everyone looks at me a different way making me very depressed. Thank you Destiny for this video .I'm inspired by you to start my channel soon🥰🥰
I am a nurse who works with a dermatologist, and I LOVE this video! You show every step of the process and it can be really helpful for first timers! I also love how you got professional explanations.
Aspiring Learner me too😭 i got a really bad sunburn maybe 2 months a go and it scabbed up and slowly began to peel and I ended up caving and picking it all😪 thank god it didn’t scar
Iam a medical esthetician and I was the Rep for Vi Peel in the San Francisco Bay Area and I swear by how absolutely fantastic this Peel is. It's quick, its literally fir every skin type and color and the results are amazing.
Girl I literally just cried. I’ve been going through this for 2 years, I completely stopped doing my makeup because I let people get in my head and make me think it was my make up and that still didn’t help. I got soooo depressed to where I cried for days and never wanted to leave my house. I thought it through and convinced myself to get over it. I just started to except it, I clean my face twice a day and when I think it’s getting better I have another breakout and now I’m just like whatever it is what it is. Lbvs. Sometimes I do still get that feeling of falling back into the depressed stage and some how I snap out of it. Your video just helped me out a lot. Thank you so much.
Im 35 now and still have shitty skin. Some days better than others but it really affects confidence on a bad day I can't face leaving the house either. Make up helps as long as you wash it off and moisturise before bed, those people are talking shit
Look into primerose oil pills you can get them at any drug store and I hear it’s good for acne(watch a few UA-cam videos about it clearing up really bad acne). Also, you won’t get this(chemical peel) done but for a cheap facials go to beauty schools that offer Aesthetician classes because the teacher is a licensed and will watch over the students also you get a lot more option for service(don’t go to just a beauty school because they only do very basic facials only school that have Licensed aesthetician). Also, have you tried to change your diet I hear dairy can make it worse. Wash your pillow cases everyday. Look into herbs that help with acne and add them in teas to drink. My ex had it bad and told me the only thing that helped him was regular soap and water because the medicine and expensive face washes did nothing he said f it and just used dial soap. If you don’t want to use dial look into mint dr. Broners soaps (it’s great for skin and acne. It’s also affordable). Again I hear great things about it. Morning: Gentle face wash, toner, mostirizer or pure Shea butter Night: Exfoliate, toner, mostirizer Once a week: Aztec mask with ACV not water mixed ACV is stronger. Every two days: face steam over a potfor 15-20 min (add herbs for skin in pot)
Whats so bad about facial hair? I mean im a guy but the hair on my face are so small you would need to look through one those things you to see things bigger (i forgot what they were called lmao) but then again im a guy so idk hoe it is for girls
I had acne too until I had a chemical peel done 15 years ago. Today my skin is healthy and my breakouts are less than 1%. Good luck to you...God bless.
You’re beautiful 😍 you’re skin is beautiful. My mom asked me if that’s Tyra Banks just now 🤗 😊 I don’t mind my acne on my face. It’s my shoulders and back I have a problem 😭😩😩 I have to take back my life for summer 2019!
It's almost 2 am, and I just happened to stumble upon your video. Firstly, you are absolutely beautiful and so is your daughter! Secondly, I just have to commend your confidence! I love how you even added that part about God allowing you to go through something to help someone else. It's amazing how the Lord can humble us through anything and use it for others! I've had acne for over 10 years now. It's gotten better the last few years, but it's starting to get bad again. When I was pregnant with my son, I felt like I had the best skin. Now he just turned a year old, and I feel like my acne is starting to spark up again. I'll definitely be looking into a peel to try and help some of my scars. I just had to comment on what a beautiful and genuine woman you are, inside and out! God bless you and yours! ♡
Your heartfelt moment at the end was sooo genuine, beautiful, and encouraging. God definitely used you to minister to soooo many of us. (Even 2 years later)
I LOVE your confidence! Having acne prone skin sucks! I’m currently on my journey to clear skin and I’m 31 years old...been struggling with acne and hyper-pigmentation since I was about 13. Thanks for sharing your journey and words of encouragement. ❤️
My dermatologist saved me from cystic breakouts. My dermatologist put me on spironolactone 25mg to balance my hormones and prosacea for the bumps. I started in May of 2018. My skin cleared up in two months. My hyper-pigmentation is a process though. I’m 33 and I struggled for years.
I don’t have acne, but I do have severely dry skin. To all my dry skin queens out there, grab a face towel and damp it with warm water. Rub in circular motions on dry areas. Then do your skin care routine. Finish with patting on your moisturizer. This technique has changed my life. ❤️
Tom Cook I'm black. I know black people have freckles. My sister does and she looks beautiful. But this girl in this video does not look like she has freckles. It looks like black marks. Black marks and freckles are not the same, how anyone cannot tell the difference is odd to me
The message at the end of the video is great. I had cystic acne as a teen, now I get a Pimple once a year. You're lovely and have a great personality, that's all that matters.
Check to see if you have food allergies, I struggled with bad acne for 10+ years. I found out that dairy, gluten and too much sugar was causing it (gluten more than anything though). I stopped eating those foods and kept my sugars down and now my acne is gone. If I do eat those things though I will break out. Please look into it, i hate seeing others struggle with acne. God bless you, stay beautiful!
Omg I love your ending message it made me cry. A lot of us needed to hear that. And someone in the comments section said “you girls need to let the makeup go”... that hit me so hard. I’ve been thinking how different the world would be if all threw it away together. No more makeup. No more high expectations. No more jealousy. No more beauty standards. Makeup is an art. Not the definition of beauty.
I had really bad acne and really nothing worked until my dermatologist gave me something that really changed the game. She gave me termal water, wich is basically special water in a spraying bottle and it worked wonders. It’s so gentle and refreshing and it really cleared my skin up so much. I also stopped using alcohol and soap and oil on my skin and started using less products and my skin is finally cleaned. I couldn’t be happier. Stay strong and confident, I was almost about to give up, but I found my cure and I’m sure you’ll find yours too.
First of all, you are absolutely GORGEOUS!! I related with you so much because I struggled with horrible cystic acne all over my face for almost 9 years. NOTHING helped until I cut out dairy and started repopulating my gut by brewing water kefir. In several months my skin cleared up COMPLETELY and even my scars are almost entirely faded now with no chemical peel or ANY products. Just jojoba oil and washing with water. To all who struggle with acne, DON'T give up! Repopulate and heal your gut and cut back on dairy and I promise you will see massive results ♡♡♡ I hope this helps someone ♡♡♡
THE TRISHA HUNGRY ASSOCIATION THE T.H.A i just use really expensive skin products from france i have a little blue bottle that is 1cm tall which clears spots overnight it cost £15.30 i am from the uk and if you are american then i just want to let you know our currency has only a few cent difference in currency
Miriam Loves Pizza the french product stops spots from even coming up it is called serozinc www.laroche-posay.com/products-treatments/Serozinc/Serozinc-p532.aspx
Peeling off the skin prematurely will increase scarring. It is hard to resist but when you are getting the peel to reduce scarring you manage some restrain yourself in order to get the best result possible.
In 2012 I did 5-6 months of accurate followed by two years of tretinoin (retinol) to fade dark marks. I wasn’t acne free but I no longer got the cystic acne or their clustering of pimples. I would get “period pimples”. About three years ago face started to break out alon* the jawline which is said to be hormonal. Didn’t got back to derm because I didn’t want to do accurate again - very time consuming with questionnaires, blood work and pregnancy tests. I decided to try the 10 step Korean skin care system and it worked. The double cleanse proved to me that I really didn’t have as clean of a face as I thought. I think that is why I was breaking out because oil, makeup and grime must have been still in my face. Regular exfoliation also helped with breakouts, scarring and excess oil. You can actually do it with all American products as well. Look it up and give it a try. Stephanie Nicole, Caroline Hirons, and Jackie Aina all have good product recommendations for skincare. I still wear makeup at work daily (5x) but now if I don’t want to or if running late I don’t have. I’m not ashamed of my skin anymore.
Taisha Johnson I suffer from cystic acne too. I'm older and I usually get a huge one right during before or after my cycle. It's so embarrassing. What is the Korean treatment? I'm desperate. Lol.
M G google Korean skin care system to get the accurate list of 10 steps but I know it is a double cleanse - 1) oil cleanse and 2) foam/gel cleanse 3) toner 4) essence 5) exfoliation (scrubs or masks) 6) serums / treatments 7) oil treatment 8) eye cream 9) moisturizer 10) sunscreen I did every step twice a day originally then I cut back once I started tweeting what worked for my skin. I do many more treatments at night so I do use more than 10 products but my day time routine is about 5 products now. Check out Charlotte Cho’s website and book to get details about the routine. I hope you have success with it.
The message you shared at the end of the video really touched me, I have really bad acne on my face, chest and back and have been struggling with anxiety and depression which I’m still trying to fight. I’m 14 and when people say it’s just hormonal acne it’s really not, my acne is genetic and I always feel that I’m not pretty because of it, but this video really helped me so thank you ♥️
Girl you're definitely not alone💕💕 i've had problems with face and body acne and it used to make me super self conscious, especially around men that i was interested in. Literally nobody cares though or have liked me less because of it, so at this point i really dont care. Acne doesnt define you, beauty and skincare brands just tell you that in advertisements so they can get your money. No one is perfect, dont stress about it 😇 confidence igoes beyond having clear skin, perfect skin is not a requirement, they just want them $$$ baby
Oh yeah and i forgot you're 14, im now an adult and out of high school. I know kids are very critical and mean but just know they only pick on you because they have their own imperfections that they hide behind the shame they try to put on you. Im tellin you, last through high school and you're gonna be alright, people grow up and realize we all have bodies that do different things and look different. Once you're grown these things dont matter as much, hang in there kid, there's no need to be ashamed of your own body. Plus my acne simmered down a lot at about 19/20, i know you think it's not hormonal but your body has so many hormone fluctuations at your age, it will get better as your hormones settle down a bit. Lots of girls have been in your shoes and are now, you'll see. Just love yourself through it all
GIRL!!!! What you said at the end really spoke to me, I NEEDED to hear that. This past year my face has been breaking out horribly, and I was so ashamed and self conscious about it. Like I've cried real tears about it. I finally got the chance to go to the dermatologist and the medicine is working very well, but trust me I felt every word you were saying. And I was legit looking at my face and saw some blemishes and was about to trip but you shed some light on the whole situation lol.
This clinic is the best one. They take communication with clients very serious. Glad this vid has millions views, they deserve that. Hope you get more and more clients.
I got acne at about 18 years old. It took years to get it under control. I listened to every thing people suggested and even saw multiple dermatologists. Nothing worked to completely clear it but I found out that the Biotin is what was causing me to break out and I wasn't drinking enough water with it. Years later, I only drink water. I use bleaching cream to spot treat dark spots. I also use fresh squeezed lemon juice on my face to clear dark spots. It tingles but it works. I try not to pick at monthly pimples(it's hard to not touch it) but it's a habit. Try to keep my hands out of my face and make sure to change my pillowcases weekly and use paper towels to dry my face instead of a washcloth.
Simple style files exactly. That’s what my Moyer uses . She uses Apple vinegar and bleach too take dark spots away. She also has a habit of picking on the pimples and dark spots by squeezing or popping them
Take probiotics. Gut health is vital for good health and glowing skin. Stop all dairy and meats with hormones. This will disrupt your own hormones and cause breakouts. ❤️ An Esthetician
Amatullah Ama consume organic meats AKA (organic chicken). Cut our dairy, sugar, and gluten for about 2-3 months and your skin will transform! No cheating but I know it can be hard.
Hunny, Go see an endocronologist and get your hormone levels checked. You look just like me when I was struggling with acne. I had a hormone imbalance and was put on spironolactin 200mg, and that was it. Total life changer. I havent't had a pimple since. Been on this med for 4 years and it has changed my life. I did all that you did. Chemical peels, microderms., and hunny you are throwing your money away because if it is in fact a hormone imbalance than your body will forever produce that imbalance and cause acne until you regulate it. PLEASE GO C AN ENDOCRONOLOGIST. It will change your life COMPLETELYYYYY Do not suffer anymore
Do you know what type of medicine that is? And do you know about the risks from taking it over a certain amount of time? I mean if it is helping you and you are willing to take the risks and get bloodlevels done regularly it's totally fine. But recommending a medication like this to other people without knowing their medical history is dangerous. To see an endocrinologist is a good idea though.
vampirchen85 spironolactone is a blocker of androgen hormones which cause acne. As it blocks androgen receptors men cant use this medication as androgens are the main hormones in their bodies. You also can’t take it when pregnant as you can cause a male fetus to be exposed to less androgens and can develop female body parts. in high per doses it is used as a diuretic in high blood pressure. Major side effect is that it can affect your potassium levels in the body so docs will usually monitor that when you start the Med.
@@gymnastm1 www.drugs.com/spironolactone.html It is not just as simple and save as you descripe it. I read, that it is used as a acnemedication in america, but it is not just for fun forbidden to use it for acne in europe. It is easy to say it is fine to use it for that, if you don't have the medical and anatomical knowledge. It does so much more to your body than what you descriped and can be very dangerous when it's not supervised by a doctor und controlled every few weeks. PS: I hope this webside is as reliable as the med description sounds. I researched about in my medical list at work, but it is in german. The description, effects and sideeffects that are listet on the website are the same as in our medication list though.
@@Becca_H85 I think you need to go back and re read my comment lol. I recommended YES for her to go c an endo., and of course I know the risks HELLO I see an endo., am under the care of A DOCTORR and yes I do go check myself with my endo., ALL medications CARRY risks. ALL of them.
Thank u for this video. You're so right about acne causing SEVERE depression. Some ppl can be so immature, ignorant and plain cruel. You are making a difference in the world 🌎 I'm sure u saved someone's life with your words of encouragement. 🙏
I did chemical peel twice.. The 1st peel I did was in 2016.. 2nd was September this year. I've a very dry sensitive skin, acne prone. I'm also allergic to lots of things which makes my skin looks dull, with redness and patchiness esp on my cheeks and jawlines. It's awful. My current workplace aggravated my skin problems even more which is why I decided to do the 2nd session after consulting my doctor. After the chemical peel, my skin condition improved so much that I cannot believe I can have such a healthy skin. It's far from flawless now but it is so much better than before. My doctor did a gentle version with different chemicals. Mandelic acid, and a few other things. My skin doesn't turn so flaky or peel off too visibly after the session, so I can go to work without having anyone oggling at my face. It does makes me feel a bit self conscious in a way tho because I have sort of furry looking face (the flakes) but not too badly. I didn't wear any face makeup on, never wear foundation or anything for one whole month. I just put on a really good skin care products (Eucerin) and sunscreen even when I'm inside the house. I've difficulty in resisting the urge to pull off all the tiny flakes on my face. Long story short, it worth all the discomfort. It's been more than 2 months now, my skin condition improve so much that I feel so confident to go everywhere without putting any makeup on. I didn't have major breakout, almost all the hyperpigmentation lightened up, and my complexion looks so much better. I'm really happy with the results. I'm going to proceed with dermarolling next to improve the texture of my skin even more. personally speaking, doing chemical peel is one of the best thing I ever did for my skin. Talk to a qualified dermatologist, make sure you understand everything before proceeding with any skin treatment esp those that's involving chemicals or any invasive treatments. Everyone have different types of skin, so the results may vary depending on your body. Everything around you internally and externally will affect the results of your skin treatment procedures (weather, pollution, your health in general). Rules of thumb; take care of yourself, you are what you eat. So eat healthily, stay hydrated. And please please please don't be too harsh on yourself if one thing didn't work out. 💜

ive never watched your videos before but bless your heart for showing your skin on camera. i want to start a youtube channel but the only thing holding me back is my skin.
WHAT!! ur profile picture..... Are going into modeling you’re like literally drop dead gorgeous and I’m not just saying that because of your comment I literally screamed when I saw your profile picture. You are beautiful start Channel like girl you’re stunning
I feel like such a brat. I sprouted 4 pimples a week ago and have been slamming my face with masks and panicking wondering if my diet is killing me (i eat healthy so i'm just paranoid). I need to calm the f down and a) be grateful and b) be confident.
Same !!!!! I need to calm down. I’ve been eating clean for 3 months now and my skin has been soooooooo clear so whenever I get a pimple I get super paranoid.
Girl, just wanna let you know, you’re gorgeous! I’m a girl struggling with acne and acne scarring myself. Never done a chemical peel before, but I’m trying my best to do everything I can first to resolve it. I wouldn’t say my acne is as bad as some, but it’s particularly bad around my chin and mouth. Some cleansers have cleared up other problem areas, but the chin area is what doesn’t seem to completely go away.
How do you not pick on the peeling when it started?!?? Incredible self-control! When my husband peels after a sunburn, I enjoyed picking at it! Yes, I guess I’m gross🤭
Once I stopped eating dairy and eggs and meat I completely got rid of my acne then I got laser hair removal done on my lower face ( come to find out dairy causes hormonal imbalances thus causing excess hair and acne) the spots faded away I might get a couple chemical peels now that I un rooted the acne at the source and I I just have to fade a few darks spots and scarring I have left over
I was vegetarian. I stopped eating soy and became vegan. All of my acne is gone! I had such bad acne from 10 years and its totally gone! The hormones were just too much for my body.
@@shardepowell2637 the human body was made to digest fruits and vegetables. Not meat. That's why sometimes it takes a day for meat to digest in our bodies. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but it is a better lifestyle. I'm just too young to switch over to it
I'm actually battling acne and everyone looks at me a different way making me very depressed. Thank you Destiny for this video .I'm inspired by you to start my channel soon🥰🥰
Thank you so much for these! I feel like I've followed so many youtubers over the years and it feels like everyone got rid of their acne/dark marks and the rest of us are just left to dream of clear skin. You were one of the only youtubers I ever followed that truely was confident in their acne and gave me confidence to know that I'm beautiful with and with out makeup despite of these scars. I haven't felt like I can't leave my house without makeup in over a year because of you! Now I'm also struggling just dark marks 🙄 Anyways we appreciate you sharing the journey whether it works or not we would love to hear everything you test out!
Sis, props to you for being able to do this and share your journey. I never had acne until age 30 after becoming pregnant with twins. I had cystic acne and looked and felt like a horror movie character. It was super depressing, especially being pregnant, it was difficult to be happy and excited. As soon as they were born I did a round (5 months) of Accutane. This stopped my skin from breaking out, but I was left with hyperpigmentation and scarring. I had microdermabrasion, which did almost nothing. Next I tried Obagi products and Blue peel. That helped the scarring some, and diminished the hyperpigmentation. Years later my skin continued to improve in appearance, but I still had scarring. At the time (12 years ago) there weren’t as many options for darker skin. I came up on Fraxel laser peel, and did 3 of those, and this was the most noticeable improvement to my skin as far as scarring is concerned. I still have light scarring, but I’m much more confident and feel comfortable in my skin. It’s really about loving and accepting yourself.. imperfections and all. I want to do a vampire facial/micro needling fir the scarring, but even if I don’t, I’m ok. Hell, I’m old now anyway. 🤓😆 Blessings to you, and chin up. You are a beautiful Sista. Keep doing you. 🌟🌟💯💕💁🏽♀️
When I was younger I was so depressed over my acne. I had cystic acne when I was 11, one of the only kids in my class with horrible acne. Then over my sophomore year I cut out dairy products and got a dermatologist recommendation diet and facial oils and products that were recommended to use. Now I’m a Junior (high school) with the only small sweat acne and period acne. I no longer slather make up to hide my “problem”, I was insecure and worried how people would look at me and think I was a freak. Even though I’m nearly acne free now, I wish I had the same confidence that I have worked hard to gain.
Thank you so much for your comments at the end! I appreciate the reminder so much. Sometimes I see 4 pimples and freak out when I know my face has been MUCH worse. It's easy to get caught up in comparing my face to the "flawless" skin of others. We already shining! Bless bless Sis!
Thank you so much , i was so insecure about my skin that when i met someone I away though they judged my skin , but when i watch this and listen to your advice I felt so much better
Mary Ogundipe yeah me too , people sometime thought i hate them because i just look away or not look at their eyes . But really i just dont want them to look directly at my face
@@aothientrang5256 exactly!!! Its embarassing bc I know I need to stop but I just cant 😖😖😖😖 also I don't not look at ppl bc if acne, I don't have bad acne at all... maybe two pimples. I do it bc my hyperpigmentation.
Panda Latte And no, I didn’t call you disgusting, I said your comment was, although based on your lack of respect I’d imagine you have lack of comprehension too.
My doctor would've charged me extra, just for taking a video and even more for showing her face, not realizing that I'm actually bringing her more customers 😂... So I must say... Your doctor is lit❤️🔥
I was crying at “ I almost put pee on my face cause I was desperate” I was really this close 👌🏾 to putting pee on my face too but I was like ew nah that’s pee 💀💀
My sister had very bad acne when she was a teenage, I went to a doctors office and spoke w/a nurse and she said that there was nothin wrong w/putting ur pee on ur face, she stated it came from ur body..... but then she said the best pee was a baby’s pee. Shit my sister did this 4 almost 7-8 months n girl her skin was beautiful....so try it!!!!!!
Goldie G I had an instructor in beauty school who told us baby pee is great for acne-prone skin. Said to take the wet diaper and dab it on your face. Fresh, obviously. 🤣 Minus the 💩. Never tried it personally, but maybe worth a try for the brave? That woman knew her stuff. I'd guess she was maybe late 50s/early 60s? Owned her own salon for 20+ yrs. She was black, most of her clients were the same. I'm white as Casper, but I'm a curly girl. She gave me the BEST cut I've ever had. Wish I knew where she went. I just found this channel. Love it! Well-done. Educational. Intelligent. New subscriber! Completely unrelated as this is a video on skin peels...blame the ADHD. 🙃 Sorry to hijack your post, but girl needs help. I'm struggling with thinning hair. If ANYONE knows hair, it's women of color. Especially, caring for curls. I've learned tons, but I'm stuck. Most of the products I see used are just too heavy for my fine/thin hair. Current state of my mop: scalp showing at crown/temples; low- porosity; mix of 2a-3b, but remnants of 3c at my nape; dry ends; oily roots; dull; frizzy. I air dry ~ 75% of the time. I've tried so many things. Not interested in Minoxydil. Doesn't play well with psoriasis. Early 2000s was not a good look. 😨 P&G ruined Nioxin. So, that's out. Coconut oil acts like a protein (which my hair hates) and breaks me out. So, there goes that. My hair is bright red. Hot water is the enemy. Castor oil is thick and tough to shampoo out of my hair with cold water. It also pulls out my color. Shea butter gives me horrible, cystic acne. Inversion method actually does help grow your hair faster, but no new hair. Already taking hair, skin, nail vitamins containing saw palmetto. Using an iGrow every other day. Too soon to tell. Love my Wen, but I have to use actual shampoo at least once/week. Too much scalp build-up otherwise. To anyone wanting to try Wen: DO NOT BUY FROM GUTHY RENKER/TV/AMAZON. Only QVC and direct from Chaz sell his original formula. I recommend QVC. Easy-pay is your friend. 😉 What am I missing???
I had to comment again.. you're so beautiful WITH the acne and WITH the scars... don't let anyone tell you otherwise - especially yourself ❤ just found your channel and I love you already 😊
Awwww thank you Luv for sharing this heartfelt journey of clearing your acne. I too suffered from acne/scarring from age 11 to age 37...that's a total of 26 years! I finally got my acne under control and my skin is 100% better. I did several things to clear my acne like; detox my liver, eat healthy, cut out dairy, and reduce my intake of sugar. My biggest culprit was to stop picking at the bumps on my face everyday and also to keep my hands off my face during the day. I went to dermatologist throughout the years and took antibiotics too for my acne and I also used retin-a gel to my help my scarring. I currently use CeraVae skin cleanser and Enchanted Waters Waffle Weave Towel to remove any dirt and makeup. My dermatologist works with a pharmacy that creates fade cream to get rid of blemishes. It consist of 4% hydroquinone and retin-a along with some other ingredients but it has cleared up all my blemishes. I got a facial peel 7 years and it helped as well. My cousin came to visit me and she hadn't seen me in 30 years. She commented on how well my skin looks...she remembered how bad my skin was over the years. Iam 54 years old now. My acne/ scars taught me that beauty is within. I believe all things heal with time patience and much love. You are a beautiful woman with a genuine good spirit that always inspires others. I apologize for this being so long. I love you and thank you for sharing your story 🌷💖🌷💖🌷💖😊😊😊
Kelly Pearson You’re an awesome person! Thanks for your comment. I’ve NEVER experienced acne. My skin has always been crystal clear, even as a teenager. But, I haven’t escaped being humbled by tragedy. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease named Scleroderma. It’s a connective tissue disease that causes skin tissue to become hard, like wood. Still, I rise!!!😉
Thank you so much for being so confident to put this out there for us who hide because of our acne problems and hyperpigmentation. You’re brave and BEAUTIFUL!!
I had acne for years and it was devastating for me. Later in life you realize that there are blessings associated with acne - you have more oil that will late help your skin stay younger and also by having acne you also connect with others potentially that suffer. The one thing I would change is diet - stay away from sugars and eat more veggies - those are key. Good luck to everyone with acne - remember it will pas and be kind to yourself :D
Another blessing is that people with acne are able to tell what is going on with their body unlike those who don’t have acne. When I have a really bad breakout I know I need to eat a more well balanced diet , drink more green juices , get more sleep and workout !

I have a lot of acne on my cheeks as well is that concerning
Shae Annalese have you recently gotton on birth control or are you PMsing? It’s normal to experience breakouts sometimes, but if you have severe acne on your checks often, I would get it checked out. You can look up acne diagrams with causes on google images and it will explain what area you have acne in (the forehead or cheeks) and what is causing it (like hormonal, or lung problems)
@NoLoveLost1313 this is sooo true! I had bad acne, I reduced oils and everything and I've gotten clearer skin

Aww hun.. if you feel depressed again write in a book and let out those feelings.. Hope you're better 😘
Morning: Gentle face wash, toner, mostirizer or pure Shea butter
Night: Exfoliate, toner, mostirizer
Once a week: Aztec mask with ACV not water mixed ACV is stronger.
Every two days: face steam over a potfor 15-20 min (add herbs for skin in pot)

I LOVE your confidence! Having acne prone skin sucks! I’m currently on my journey to clear skin and I’m 31 years old...been struggling with acne and hyper-pigmentation since I was about 13. Thanks for sharing your journey and words of encouragement. ❤️
My dermatologist saved me from cystic breakouts. My dermatologist put me on spironolactone 25mg to balance my hormones and prosacea for the bumps. I started in May of 2018. My skin cleared up in two months. My hyper-pigmentation is a process though. I’m 33 and I struggled for years.
I’m 21 and still battling acne and acne scars. I’m trying so hard to not let it bring me down but sometimes I swear like crying.
Unknown 0028 I am going to try it! Thank you 😊
Same here,
I don’t have acne, but I do have severely dry skin. To all my dry skin queens out there, grab a face towel and damp it with warm water. Rub in circular motions on dry areas. Then do your skin care routine. Finish with patting on your moisturizer. This technique has changed my life. ❤️

I was autocorrected - *accutane
Taisha Johnson Thanks so much! I will definitely check into it! I appreciate it!

@Glen CoCo how is she wasting money if its helping her?
@@gymnastm1 www.drugs.com/spironolactone.html
It is not just as simple and save as you descripe it.

I love how the doctor sat down and answered questions with her.
He’s promoting his business 😒

Lol me too 😂😂😂
Your such a pretty young lady. I got thought u had freckles. Your gorgeous sis!!
Ralisha Oliver she really is
Girl, just wanna let you know, you’re gorgeous!
DaWahine79 its a common thing for humans to enjoy dont worry
You aré not alone sis I love picking at stuff like that 😂I actually wished that was my skin woulda picked the hell out it🤪
Dude I would not have been able to leave it alone
Once I stopped eating dairy and eggs and meat I completely got rid of my acne then I got laser hair removal done on my lower face ( come to find out dairy causes hormonal imbalances thus causing excess hair and acne) the spots faded away I might get a couple chemical peels now that I un rooted the acne at the source and I I just have to fade a few darks spots and scarring I have left over
Brittany hutt but how can you stop eating meat??!!!😭😭😂
Right. But i bet not eating meat is not good for you hormones
Too true 🙌 get rid of that dairy and and watch your problems disappear.
Best thing I ever did.
I'm just too young to switch over to it
The lady who did her peel looks like Monica from friends (I forgot her real name)
Courtney Cox
She easily looks like Caitlyn Jenner too due to the Botox.
SHE DOESSSS omg!
Courtney Cox 💕
Courtney Cox + Janice Dickinson + Caitlyn Jenner lol
I'm actually battling acne and everyone looks at me a different way
making me very depressed. Thank you Destiny for this video .I'm inspired
by you to start my channel soon🥰🥰
You still look very pretty even with that acne like woww siss 😯😍
Thank you so much for these! I feel like I've followed so many youtubers over the years and it feels like everyone got rid of their acne/dark marks and the rest of us are just left to dream of clear skin. You were one of the only youtubers I ever followed that truely was confident in their acne and gave me confidence to know that I'm beautiful with and with out makeup despite of these scars. I haven't felt like I can't leave my house without makeup in over a year because of you! Now I'm also struggling just dark marks 🙄
Anyways we appreciate you sharing the journey whether it works or not we would love to hear everything you test out!
Omg your pimples look like cute little freckles. I'm so jealous of the lovely color of your skin!
Yrreehiu
Nurse Katie and Dr. Graham were great. This was such a thorough well organized video Destiny. Thanks for making it!!
I just want to say you are beautiful your acne dont define you I think you are a ray of hope for other
Thank you so much for your comments at the end! I appreciate the reminder so much. Sometimes I see 4 pimples and freak out when I know my face has been MUCH worse. It's easy to get caught up in comparing my face to the "flawless" skin of others. We already shining! Bless bless Sis!
Sis your like really pretty dammnn
Anyone else think that doctor looks like Courtney cox from friends?
COX not Fox
JOHN SMITH oops typo
omgggg the theme song was playing in the background while I came across this lol

I think she looks like Beth Hart!
Thank you so much , i was so insecure about my skin that when i met someone I away though they judged my skin , but when i watch this and listen to your advice I felt so much better
Uuugh I was insecure about my skin so when ppl come up seems talk to me I cover part of my face or look down or away like a weirdo lol...😂😢💀
It takes so much confidence to post something like this, honestly you are amazing. ALSO U ARE SO BEAUTIFUL WTF
I cried with the outro. I’ve been feeling so down due to my acne
Omg how can you look pretty with acne? I didnt think it was possible until this video! You look fabulous!
Panda Latte ...
Panda Latte what a disgusting comment
Tracy Minaj I’m disgusting for calling her pretty and fabulous? ..... right...
Shit my sister did this 4 almost 7-8 months n girl her skin was beautiful....so try it!!!!!!
tracy clement thanks for letting me know but I still can’t do it 😂😂 facts
Lmfaooo saaamee😭😭😂💯 I was like no wtf it’s not that serious 😩😂
M'Laizsa Banks right lmao ima just leave my face alone atp
I have watched this video twice. It comforts me for some reason. You are so kind and open!
This was so satisfying to watchhhh!
omg your so pretty girl!!
Thank you love!! I do tutorials if you wanna see how I do my makeup 🤗
Damn girl your ass is so satisfying to watchhhh!
Marcella X
God bless you Marcella X with healing beautiful soft skin all over your body.😇 Your spirit is humble and it shines...Luv 💖🌷
You are living proof that even with imperfections like acne and scaring you can still be beautiful. Ugh I’m so jealous
your nose is PERFECT omg I'd pay to have that
Thank you so much for being so confident to put this out there for us who hide because of our acne problems and hyperpigmentation.
I think it is also unfair that you are so GORGEOUS, confident and educated Sis💋
