So time for another burnout with the locker? 😎 I may need to look into a set of rear tires that size for the 111. good video man and glad to see the helpers in there too!
Hahaha maybe I’ll try a burnout 😄 We did a welded diff on the 111 before so I knew what to expect with this one. There are pro and cons. The one Pro: it gives a vehicle way more capability in off road terrain. Cons: added stress on the transmission and tires, turning radius goes out the window, it’s a bear to push the vehicle around when it’s not running or in neutral. I plan on using this tractor to get up the trail on our property…hopefully! Also, the reason I was doing the burnout in the first place was to put a load on the engine so I can try tuning the carburetor. With at least 22 HP, and only having to turn a pulley with good mechanical advantage, I can’t run the motor “wide open” at all because it will immediately red line. So after a couple “pulls” I realized it would make a good Short. Anyway, thank you for commenting, I really do appreciate it! Looking forward to your next video on that 111!
I need tires for it still. I just got done with the build process. When it was stock it weighed 700 pounds. I completed gutted it and built a custom pulley clutch setup. The original motor was 170 pounds. The new Predator 670 weighs less than 100 pounds. So I’ve got this thing down to about 500 pounds, similar to what most mowers weigh. I’m not planning on running this thing through deep mud holes either. It’s sole purpose is to get me up the trail on my property and be a UTV type vehicle.
Good work!
Thank you for the shout out! This is shaping up to be an awesome build!
Yes sir! Thank you!

When you got mudding with the 214 do you stuck a lot due to the weight?
