Jafar technically never had a theme at all. However if you count it as if it did, he was trapped in the lamp as a slave to it, with genie throwing it away. Doomed doesn't always equal death. So he can either count or be an exclusion since his theme couldn't turn on him.
Being a stage actor for disney must be such a big pain in the jaw. You have to lipsync so widely so that everyone in the crowd can actually see you lipsyncing
Well it is nearly impossible to sing while dancing without butchering the song so I guess they just wanted him to seem like he's actually singing? Idk, I'm not too informed about these stuff lol

Body movement has to be big so that even the person at the very edge of the crowd can see what you're doing. Same goes with lipsyncing. You have to make it very big and very readable to the point where it's almost comical. Which, I was saying must get really tiring. Having to use your entire face vigorously for an entire performance is probably exhausting and painful

Animation does things the human body just can't, but the fact that this guy manages to capture the feel of the character's movements as well as he did is damned impressive.

I don’t think they are going to do a live action of the princess and the frog. A live action frog would most likely not turn out very pretty. Or maybe they will change the story a bit so that her time as a frog would be a little less.

This actor does a brilliant job. He nails the fluid, lithe and spontaneous movements of the character, his glib gestures, and performs with an excellent singing voice that rivals the song’s actual film rendition. This could have been so lame but this dude transforms it (Transformation Central!)

There's a moment where he catches up his breath and it's not the only one, I've known people who didn't lip syncing and did the dancing and singing by themselves. Just because some people can't do something doesn't mean others can't either. With that said not all cases are like them, in other cases they do lip syncing.

Really cool performance, great job by the performer. Kind of interesting to see that they changed the lyrics to remove it from the context of the film and make it fit into a zero-context stage show. Some of my favorite little touches were lost (Facilier saying 'you do have a soul, don't you Lawrence?' and him narrating his card reading, for instance) but it's still a solid song. I'm also disappointed there's no background chorus singing 'you got what you wanted, but you lost what you had!'
