Been running this build since this was posted and it's insanely good. I am absolutely loving it. Did a rum delivery run last night and literally 5 sets of rogues spawned in around me (that's a total of 10 ships) and i easily handled them all with this build only having to use heals. It was literally hit them with one mortal a couple of long 9 shots and one broadside and down they went. I even use this for my Po8 runs!
I have a barque build here that is the one i use for everything except po8 runs. The build is: Black prince armour Rigging station or scoping station depends on ehat your doin at the time if your plundering then use the scoping station Lead kettle Double planked hull La potence schematic Culverin works The weapons are: Twin winch on front Carronades on both sides Mons meg 3 on the back And leopald 3 as auxilary weapon. Bare in mind the only weapons for range are twin winch an the leopald 3 the others do more damage up close
My barque build is very similar but I use flooding Demi-cannon 3’s on the sides, carron’s front & back, water tank, la potience, 19% elemental damage for culverins, Demi-cannons, and mortars. Leopold 3 in the auxiliary. I think you’ll love it if you try it
There is a fun build I like to use that can break through every brace, including the Snow. The damage that one shot of this weapon can do is 45,190. (Includes weak spot damage in the number; I'm also doing some testing to further increase this.

One thing I've definitely noticed about the Barque is that my sails get shot out a LOT. Its honestly never happened for me even once on any other ship. Its very annoying too.
If you are still wondering about how to get the Helm mats, you can farm the rogue ships for them. Look at the rogue hunts in the supply network and the name in red is what they drop. Accept the one that drops what your wanting, go to the spawn point and scope them all. if they dont have the mats on them reload the game and look again. sometimes it takes a few reloads but they will spawn with it. As long as you dont kill the little ship you can repeat the process as much as you have the patience for.
Hey I have a question .... is that torpedo you get with the black opium any good ... I use torpedoes on a healing ship aft and although they are what I boiled it down to use those, the performance is a bit disappointing. I would hate to invest all the resources to not get a satisfactory product ... if your wondering why torpedoes its mostly the 4.5 fire rate and the fact I am just trying to slow them down to get away for the most part, although sinking some would be fun. thoughts?

What does the snow have anything to do with la flue? What cause it's slow? Well first off that doesn't matter when there's counters to the stamina zapping considering foods and builds! I'll let people figure it out lol.
the best for me is 320m give me 100% more critical damage + le fleu give me another 10% crit and long nines that build need only 4 shoots to destroy sambuk
@@wynerio I have hit over 100k few times to weakpoint with ballista i know its possible but it doesnt happen often. There are MUCH better major furniture that you get buffs often and kill ships faster.
Can’t stand that people paid good money for this and double slapped with a subscription fee and the game is on sale. Only to freeze up your Xbox and “host left” every 5 minutes. Those who say you don’t pay a fee…if you have Ubisoft anything on your system, yea you’re paying to play.
What subscription fee? The only thing I paid for was the game and Xboxlive which i don't think people should have to pay for Xboxlive or pslive etc cause we already have to pay for Internet.

This locks up more than any game I have played. Plus many other times NPC will have no prompt to speak to them then I have to close the game down and restart it. It's been very buggy
What fee? I've accrued no subscription fees nor do I get disconnected. Aside from the occasional interaction bug at outposts, I've not had any issues. I'm quite enjoying myself to be honest
Well I can confirm my barque build is nasty I did died once however I was fighting like 5 other players at the same time for whatever reason they gained up on me when it wasn't me who had anything on me oh well lol but yeah I did died once cause got rammed by two others when my health was low enough for them to deal just enough damage to slay me. But yeah took out three of them before I was taken out. And I didn't use the carronades either sure I could have but decided to just use my pve weapons.
Last night i accidently helped my brother bully a lower leveled player in a severely empty server doubling his 8s, bro wanted to steal them so i was just killing the poor fellow... was using my brig with prince and rigging station and 4 dandenelles...poor guy stood no chance

It's too slow for pvp. Well when pvp stops being 90% chase based it may be ok

Good furniture piece would also be Scrapper station. That would add even more healing after a crew attack.
You would lose the passive healing that is done in the Black Prince's buff range which is more valuable IMHO

Oh I'm so hyped for large ships but no idea what to expect. Hoping we can be heavily mortar based to support our dps ships.
I tried using the flooding build, and it's not good against other builds. What one do you personally think is the best

Dam I just use all 4 fire bombards with the pryo ship it's a weak ship but soon they get close they all burn can sink 3 ships in one

It was available with the premium edition release initially. It's been cycled out of the store at the moment.

This major furniture has been tested long ago. its crap because the buff proc is very very low.
i hit my friend from 350m somthing betwen 10-12k by one shoot soo i think its op with good situations

Ship is aglie but easy to hit. Only good for support likes it was intented for.

DONT USE BARQUE FOR PVP. Biggest weak points of any ship. The whole bow is weak. Easy wipe with calculated shots in pvp
Mine does just fine. Stays alive longer than that glass cannon Brig.
