I am also running a flooding build, but with long nines front and back for range and mastbreaker perk to slow down enemies and burst damage, then ramming enemy for guaranteed flooding status and then do massive damage with the carronades. Also using Leopold 3 for the flooding damage
I don't have three carronades so I run them on both sides, long 9 on bow and Leopold for mortar. The long 9s drop their sails, then the Leopold gets the flooding going and the carronades mop it up. Your build is impressive! Good luck out there. Oh I use a Barque.
Brace Build 2.0 Same furniture/food as before Dard's on sides Long nines rear Twin winch ballista front Black Prince armor This makes a level 12 Snow! Try it out!
@deathwish I seen people mistaking ky give those corranades away, then I read to them that they do 50% sever damage to any flooded ship and they were distrout, lol, these are an amazing weapon if you do not have a burque in your team removing sever damage all a brig gotta do is ram you generate instant flooded damage and then inflict sever damage untill u can’t heal or take a single shot
I run 9s on the front to tear up sails when pursuing. Really don't need them on the front anyway. Ramming them adds flood damages, then turn and destroy.
@@Deizel187 They can be decent, but you shouldn't rely on it's flood damage, you really do want lots of status effects that keep damage as well as deal it, one two punch deal, give em enough unrepairable damage that out healing your attacks gets more difficult or impossible. Its always been rather frustrating to have your opponent low and you're desperately racing against a heal timer to sink them and they heal before it lands to sink.
That's a pretty good build!! But what all the UA-camrs semm to overlook is the padewakang. 3 dards 1 long niners and i melt every lvl 12 ship in game. Its awesome. Keep up the good work bro!! Love your vids 😎
It's junk. It can't come close to the sambuk because it only has 3 cannons on the sides. My buddy and i have tested the build and it doesn't come close minus a coining on the side. Not to mention the endless blaze effects from multiple furniture pieces.
This would be better on a barque to prevent receiving any flood damage and would allow you to basically spawn spam when fighting multiple opponents as you'll always generate severe damage.
Carronade could've been worth it if on flooding effect you could deal +50% damage (not severe damage). When you are in the middle of a fight and you reach your opponent, the meta is to burst him down so he doesn't keep using repair kit, and these cannons need too much time to decrease enemy full hp; in the same time, the enemy can kill you twice or more. This you showed is an anti-tank build, the Snow, so you can slowly decrease his full hp without the need of breaking his huge brace. But anyway, if Snow uses status repair kit and the new Uroboro, (that restores 100 severe damage per second) it just make the flooding build useless again. Lets be honest, you never dropped lower than 50%hp, and it's not because of carronades for sure, but your opponent not being a pvp player at all. This cannons needs a buff, can't compare them to zamzama, scurlock and even basilisk. Somehow carronades lvl is 120, just to raise your ship level, but you are actually weaker
Pretty decent build. But it takes time to get the flood buff. I prefer a more agressive approach. I normally run dards on the brig ,or Zams on the sam..( you sacrifice speed with the Sambuk) Both produce similar results. This flood build only seems viable if you can keep a bit of distance until you get your buff.
@@DaSchorsch you get that close to me you will die in about 40 secs when i swing the back of the boat and you get hit point blank with 3 rounds of dards. Not the best idea to run up on a ship that is outfitted for close combat.
Wouldn't work against a group that runs the Barque ship. Heals the severe damage and the use of restoration kits as soon as flooded status effect procs cuts down the damage.
Flood build has been demonic since the ability to trade another carronades with other players..that said.. The raw dps provided by the dards and TW combo seem to provide a better all round dps with having LF as the aux..ive survived a 6 v 1 tearing sails and stacking dps with dards vs players..
Carronade will probably be nerfed, this cannon is fucking op on a brig, especially if you got more than 2. even if you are in a snow, rocking ouroboros or gamba kobe 2 this will end you, since you can always apply the flooding with a ram, no matter the resistence. the only way to go up against it is a team of at least 2 barques with repair bombards and mortar, since the can heal each others severe damage like its not even there. thats the only situation i can think of that can effectively counter that build with the currently aviable gear.
I think this build would work better with Long 9's in front and in back, and keep your Carronades on the sides. The issue is that your bow and stern chasers don't have any lower-deck ports, so you're only doing 360 DPS with those carronades, where you'll do 466 with the Scurlock's. You were still spending an awful lot of your time following that guy and applying the 'Torn Sails' effect to get into range. You'd do all that work a *LOT* faster with Scurlock's, plus get a one-time 7000 damage when you do dismast him. Once he's immobilized, then you can dunk on him with your Leopold and Carronades, and put him away in short order.
Or you could use the twin ballista either one works. But depends on who you fight you could use the the zams or blue specter and gain more damage when you ablaze them
Better use the great springald III, which is the perfect front weapon to take down sails, yes it doesn't have mast breaker, but in term of efficiency, it is the best weapon to take out sails right now in the game
Have you tried this with someone popping mending kits....can't remember the name exactly but it removes status effects.....I don't know if it's viable but that's the only way I see them being able to counter it.....great build tho! Solid! Are you using the carronades? What's your furniture? Thanks man! GG!......ahhhh I didn't make it far enough before I commented....lol fair enough.
Restoration Kits won't heal severe damage, only repairing at a dock will. A Restoration Kit WILL however nullify the actual flooding status effect, stopping someone from stacking on Severe Damage from Flooding. It is also worth nothing, someone with Ouroboros armor will constantly heal Severe damage. Smart Restoration Kits stacked with Ouroboros armor would greatly turn the tides against a Flood build.
Pvp is just doing damage faster than your opponent can repair it. Flooding isn't good if you're up against someone with a decent setup and takes longer to kill.
keep in mind that if i remember correctly Restoration kits have a decently long cooldown aswell and all it take to apply flooding is a good leopold shot or one ram
Hello there ! Anyone else having this issue i am on xbox, I've had to log out twice today , The reason is that i am unable to interact with the laboratory, the ship , etc.
Either you don't understand pay to win or you haven't played the game at all. There is no market, only trades and people are free to trade their IN GAME currency we ALL can farm endlessly. That's not what pay to win is. Pay to win is when you can buy things that impact player power by spending real money. Skull and Bones has a shop but so far it's purely cosmetics so not pay to win. The Season Pass that gives you 2 is free to unlock. The Premium pass costs money but does NOT give you ANY item that increases your power in game.

ive got a similar build, but it's a hybrid ram/flood with the torps in the front i launch and follow the torps in for the ram
