This setup utilizes Bahsei's Mania and Highland Sentinel - very niche if not cheesy combination. Despite both Bahsei and Highland are usually best to be double barred, there's nearly no flaws in one barring Bahsei as our back bar uptime is negligible.
On paper Bahsei 5pc can grant up to 11% all damage increase, what is slightly higher than Coral bonus after substracting damage that's not buffed by Weapon Damage stat. This scaling advantage together with Maw's Magicka bonus allow Mag Sorc to push more damage than traditional Stam Sorc.
The first 150k parse came quickly with some optimizing. More than that - it seemed possible to reach similar result without using Overload prebuff. I've tried to substantiate it and was lucky to capture this one.
Fuck yeah man . Pioneering into the new parse meta.
Larry’s house got that 5% dps buff
Bahsei back in the meta?
I thought 150k was ineviatable with highland sentinel and here it is. Very nice
goated song

Noob question but what is that skill that is always maintained at 10 stacks used for damping magicka?
This tracker displays current Bahsei damage bonus
Thoughts on dropping maw on this set up and using kilt and 1 piece slime or maybe molag kena for some spell damage and then you could drop backstabber for wrathful strikes?
Kilt would do well, it provides more consistent damage. 150k requires great rng rolls - we prefer volatility over consistency for higher potential dps, thus maw is more likely to push this damage.
Molag Kena is heavily outclassed by other monster sets and Mythic. I'd rather not cook around it until it's reworked.
@@Ytunabe I just meant 1pc molag kena for 129 spell damage with kilt which would also mean you can take off backstabber for wrathful strikes netting you like 334 more spell damage which is what this set up kind of lacks but is maw of the infernal better than 334 spell damage and another like 10% crit
I’ve been using the greater town atro is the charged more dps?
Charged does more atm, if target can be kept in place for atro duration
what your race
where do sunder, kick, concussion come from?
Kick is Twilight Tormentor's melee attack.
Sunder and Concussion are Physical and Shock status effects respectively.
Sunder proc sources are: Back bar weapon Enchantment > Rapid Strikes > Stampede
Concussion proc sources: Charged Atronach > Scamp = Bird > Scamp active skill.
alternatives for bahsei? sry, don't have the set :(
Null Arca, Rele, Siroria, Depths can work. Coral is really good on Stamina Sorc
Have you done any dk stuff? Preferably mag dk
I haven't yet, but I'd surely do if I find some weird but effective tech
What race are you? I can't get my max mag that high. I'm a dark elf tho.
It's Dark elf on green max mag food
@@Ytunabe would the parse have a very slightly higher theoretical dps ceiling on high elf then, using green magicka food?
@@aaroc8201 It would. The difference is miniscule, around 125 dps
@@Ytunabe ok awesome thanks! Appreciate getting the info straight from the parse God!
BTW what food did you use for this?
green Max mag
I cannot reach 39.8k magicka. I use green magicka food, I am high elf, every magicka gold enchantment, 64 to magicka. And still around 36k...
Where am I wrong?
It suddenly grows to 39.3 after teleportation.
But actually It is still less than you have.
Check your undaunted passives, first i can suggest
ZOS gonna nerf you next lol. Holy shit congrats that's insane.
Can we do this in real Vet combat?
On paper yes - there are trial bosses that can get full from this setup. In fact, organized raids don't include parse Sorc position, and in unorganized raids it's better to use more consistent sets.
@@Ytunabe There're much of leathal trap in the DLC dungeon and trial. With avoiding trap death, I think this style will not make it.
Goated parse but wtb name of the song 😂
Adrift by Dance with the Dead
Why basheis over coral?
Magsorc, not stam
it offers better scaling at max value than coral
can I wear this in content?
Rarely yes. It should work well on Kyne's bosses.
@@Ytunabe Nice, what would you wear in content?
@@FORTPOON With no context given, i'd say Ansuul, Aegis, Velothi + maelstrom staff
@@Ytunabe Okay, I don’t really do too much of the sweatiest stuff, but pretty much whatever can encompass the most hard content in one set up. Like a closest thing to a one sized fits all? I’m a pvper but hit like 120 on my magplar, sorc is fun and would just like to comfortably do vet dungeons maybe even some hardmodes when I’m farming for pvp gear
@@FORTPOONIn this case I'd really suggest staying away from overoptimized dummy setups. These will have low aoe, penetration, crit dmg and go with bunch of conditions that can't be fulfilled in average fight.
The other setup I wrote above would be decent in dungeons and unoptimized trial comps. There are many alternatives to Ansuul you could use: Sul-xan, Coral/Bahsei, Whorl of the Depths, Relequen.
