Creator's Note: Some grand folks from my community have come up with corrections and a new tip! You do not need to kill that mini-boss at the bottom of the stairs...run past him. And this next one is brilliant, when you get up to the alter and need to close the doors...jump over the railing!!! skipping the hallway and the entry door should save another minute! Thanks for being the best ESO community ever!!
Sure am missing all my PS5NA ESO pals. Know some good people from there. Stupid controller gave out a few weeks or so ago.
Sooo. I ran my first alt toon through. And found its best to just go ahead and do the full quests line with each alt. You will get 4 affixes and multiple ink from the quests and your alts won't be able to use the scripts from your main. You'll need to buy them or quest for them on alts if you want to scribe with each toon. So far I do like the system and don't mind the grind. It gives each new toon more of a reason the visit each zone and provides a reason to build your toons rather then power leveling.
I'll probably do the same, but not all folks will want to...also, you can do the quick route first...then go back and do the questline at your leisure later.

But you can still pick up ink with your other toons , i looked in help on ESO and it said you can use the scrips picked up from your main as long as you do the quest line to The second Era of scribing ….. and if that’s not true its still good they have a chance to pick up ink especially if you have 4 or more toons

I’m still not sure how into this I’m going to get at least this way I’m not wasting materials from missing drops on alts til I figure this all out
Saving a few seconds, you can also leap over the railing by the altar to get down to the area where the doors are, rather than funning down the stairs, around the corner and through the doors 🙂

I have a bug. I completed the scribing quest on one character with the crow being last one. But on my alt after getting the alter the quest continues with starting with the ingrik again.
yep, that's not a bug...you can go on and do the Indrik (and earn some ink) but you don't need to. Completing the 2nd age of scribing (quest 1) makes your alt eligible for all the drops and scripts.
10 hours of missions with each character (I have 14) and a lot of gold to buy scripts and grimoires for each of them, do you think this is fun? I see it as an obligation to do that even if you don't like it. It seems savage to me.

What level do the alts need to be?
any level...scribing can begin on a new character.
Thanx as always for your vids. Maybe I have more time at the weekend to start scribing. Mini map add on, this was a good one 😎 while taking my controller and walk to the couch. Who cares about add ons? Life is too short to have it all 🙃

Is there another way to get the Soul Burst scribe?
I did this on a couple of vampires. Run stealthily by everything. Super handy even on tank characters.

How many scholarium doors do I need to unlock to be able to do this shortened version for my alts?
There are 5 doors...all closed in the first quest, the Second Age of Scribing.
The grind for scripts ain't going away
well, I'm just buying them up from the scholarium vendor after I've gotten the first set.

that mini boss at the bottom of the stairs... i just run past him with out agro'ing him :D didn't know i needed to kill him for the quest to continue
it ends up...you don't need to kill him. A fast runner can do this whole thing in under 5 minutes now!!!
You can continue the quest without killing the miniboss at 4:00👍
thanks for clarifying. I believe this boss was bugged before so I kept in his killing as a better safe than sorry method of getting this thing done!
Scribing is fun on all 20 of my toons
I'm learning to love it...so many possibilities, and the animations are so cool.
