Yesss, I’ve been playing since late 2015, and honestly I can just recall how dj headsets were almost unheard of. Along with the faerie wings, like there was a singular pair that existed, the pink ones, such as with dragon wings and raccoon tails. But the flower crowns returning was definitely not great. But there’s definitely more examples for items that have diminished in worth greatly, like Jam wings, rare curly antlers, fireflies, blackout, griffin wings back when membership first started, alpha armor as well, no doubt.
I honestly think that raccoon tails are the rare spiked collars of ajpw. everyone will say they're rare but not really that much now. They still have some value, like black longs but aren't as rare as they used to be

I've started playing a again recently and I found out a bunch of things I have are rare now, and it is really weird because out of all the things I have, the founders items seem like the things people care about least. If I walk around with galaxy wings I get constant trade requests, but no one has once tried to trade me for my founders items. I played AJ "classic" when I was around 9 years old. At the time, flower crowns were rare and my friend got me a few of em. I vividly remember playing one day and someone asked me if they could trade me for one of them and I said no
I feel like AJ should have just made new variants or a completely new item to give away, rather than decreasing the worth of the original items... Honestly if they made new items it probably would be decently rare too. But I guess they didn’t give much thought into it back then 🤔

Yeah I got my first rc tail like 3-4 days ago noticed no one really wanted it (I won it) but the best trade so far is lowest archer hat and rare leaf cuffs (the tail I have is the red)

I Remember Rocker Items Especially The rocker hair and tail were on high demand but since they came back into the sapphire shop their worth went downhill Im not sure if they are in stores as of 2022 but they weren't worth what they used to

Back when the flower crowns came back I was scammed cuz i didnt know they were in stores.
The person who scammed me did it by trade, offering a green flowercrown (used to be the highest colour) for my feather ears from the feather set (which also used to be rare), I accepted the trade thinking they just reeeeeally wanted the feather ears but was soon let down as I noticed that flower crowns were in epic wonders TwT
I remember having a red flower crown and someone offering a high firefly and I said " lemme think" and about 5 minutes later flower crowns came back ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

i remember one time a few years back i traded alot of my rares for a pair of nutcracker boots only for them to come back in stores not even 2 weeks after i got them, i traded away red rocker hair and i think a pink flower crown plus a couple others (look it was a really long time ago i just remember crying when i saw they came back in stores)

I remember buying an Egyptian hat and quit for a few months. Then now I come back and suddenly its worth 90 ESPN at the lowest. Also same with the snow fairy wings from 2021. They are 1500 on explorer

Either in 2018 or 2019, they came back in stores. They were gone again for a bit, but came back again.
I quit in 2019, so I don't know if it got rare since then, but whatever happened it lost rarity.

What I think is really weird is founders items. I've started playing a again recently and I found out a bunch of things I have are rare now, and it is really weird because out of all the things I have, the founders items seem like the things people care about least. If I walk around with galaxy wings I get constant trade requests, but no one has once tried to trade me for my founders items. It's weird because I see lots of players with the wings, but haven't seen anyone with the founders items once in the three weeks I've played.
