I've been asked about the best guitar to get for beginners many times over the years.
I go over the basic types, but it usually boils down to an instrument that inspires you to play, that sounds good to the player's ears, and not the cheapest guitar on the rack. Something one could resell and not lose a lot of their investment if things don't work out.
    Appreciate the video 🙏🏻🤍

Could agree more! One of my buddies talks about tools in this way. Mid shelf is the way to go.

Thanks tommy! Was a fun one to make. Dude and yes, I love that chair! Also it’s the only one that doesn’t squeak 😂. I’ll have to look at who makes it when I’m back at the shop, happy new year to you too!!

Under the seat on mine there is a stamp that says American Seating Co. Grand Rapids Mich. Pretty cool the Co started in 1886 @@kostringworks

Why is guitar so hard to learn? I think it is because we all begin to learn guitar thinking there is an end point. A point where you say “ I know how to play guitar”. But that point never really comes. You can learn to play something. But then there is the next thing that you don’t know how to play. I may have this view of the subject because I started to learn guitar later in life. After a lifetime of playing drums. There is no end to learning an instrument. Particularly guitar. It can be tuned in so many different tunings and played in so many different ways. Flat picking. Fingerstyle. Hybrid. Jimmy Page with a bow! I have been studying John Fahey, Leo Kottke and Jack Rose for a number of years now. That in in’s self could take a lifetime.

Absolutely. I try to offer that wisdom to my own students as well. This is a lifetime thing.
