- The extraordinary BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Smartglasses are defying the boundaries of what was once considered mere fantasy and transforming it into a tangible reality. These cutting-edge motorcycle goggles introduce head-up display technology, previously prevalent in the automotive realm, by seamlessly projecting crucial information directly into the rider's field of vision. Imagine having navigation guidance, speed details, and gear indications readily accessible in real time, enhancing anticipation and promoting safer motorcycle journeys.
Through a simple Bluetooth connection and a dedicated app, the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Smartglasses effortlessly link to your smartphone. This allows riders to configure the projection positioning and select preferred settings both prior to commencing their ride and even while on the move, courtesy of the multicontroller integrated into the motorcycle's handlebars.
In addition to a highly customizable user interface and an elevated level of riding safety, these smartglasses prioritize comfort. The design and display of the smartglasses have been carefully tailored to cater to the unique requirements of motorcyclists. Furthermore, they can be adjusted to fit various helmet types and accommodate different facial shapes, ensuring comfort during extensive day trips. The inclusion of a long-lasting lithium-ion battery guarantees up to ten hours of uninterrupted operation.
BMW Motorrad thoughtfully includes two sets of certified UVA/UVB lenses with the frame. The first set boasts 85% transparency, serving as an ideal choice for helmets equipped with built-in sun visors. The second set features tinted lenses, effortlessly transforming the smartglasses into a fashionable and functional pair of sunglasses.
For individuals who wear prescription glasses, an RX adapter is available for purchase directly from the provider's online platform. The user manual of the ConnectedRide Smartglasses contains a convenient QR code that leads to the ordering process for the RX adapter.
Excitingly, the official debut of the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Smartglasses is scheduled for July 7, 2023, during the much-anticipated BMW Motorrad Days event taking place in Berlin. This grand unveiling promises to captivate motorcycle enthusiasts and mark a significant milestone in the realm of innovative riding technology.

Клевые! Надо брать!
Another thing you have to go back in the house for after forgetting.
hahhah nice script , thanks chatGPT
Gotta admit it's pretty good for AI voice and Script 😂
BMW also said the jacket and helmet that the guy was wearing would be out last Spring. If they can't meet a deadline for a jacket and helmet how are they going to meet a deadline for "smart glasses"?
They’ve available now! £750 though….
@@simonwatson7494 Not a single unit has been delivered, they're lying as usual.
@@Waldo1122lol we already have a few units over on our country maybe your side is the one with package delays
I've tried how many times to ride with glasses, couldn't do it, it somehow disrupts my peripheral vision and judgement calls on distance and braking, so yeah...thus will be a BIG no for me
hope to adapt cycles.
I wonder which manufacturer would think of making such glasses for athletes?
rimango sempre affascinato dalla tecnologia a questi livelli ..😊
Great idea from Google, try next launch now?
Si possono utilizzare con il casco integrale?
most of the specs here are wrong! I do have those glases and they are very difficult to read during riding as the letters are very very small!
Whaoouuuuuu 🎉❤
I wish they come out with good audio so I can communicate with my passenger. Sena sucks
No problems with Sean at all... i think the problem is the user.... if you can't work with it, don't use the tools...
@@huppekeessie lol, that’s quite the reply given you don’t even know what the problem is. Hahahahaha. And it’s not user error. The sound on both units is trash which isn’t a user problem. They don’t stay paired during a ride again not a user problem. And one of them randomly shuts off during a ride again not a user problem but yeah you keep thinking it’s operator error pal.
Might be your unit specifically, my srl2 gives me perfectly understandable sound quality, and if anything, it's too loud by default. had no problem with disconnections either.
dope
I thought most people can’t focus on anything closer than 5 - 6 inches away?
That will be nice built into a helmet. You can turn it on or off. These glasses are not a good option. What if you need prescription glasses?
If you had bothered to read the above description, you'd know the answer.
Maybe now BMW drivers will use their blinkers
Terminator's glasses
Price ?
£600
Does it only work on BMW’s? Don’t leave my Ducati out!
So now you have to recharge your sunglasses every nite. Gee do I have to stop riding if the battery dies? I mean how else will I know how fast I am going? Oh yea, the speedometer.
Also, sorry ma'am, I didn't see the little kid in the street, I was looking at all the numbers in my sunglasses.
Ai voice
Why use shi.t.y glasses when you can just use screen on BIKE?!?!?
Nice looking but at $750, they are bit pricey.
You must be new here!! Thats typically the cost of a BMW valve cap 😂
@@brandonchappell1535 Nope... not new here. I'm actually on my 2nd BMW (2007 K1200GT and 2009K1300GT)... over 240K miles between the two. The valve covers is essential to the motorcycle. The glasses are not. They are a nice thing to have.

Nah. I’ll pass
Belli ............ma spendere 700 euro mi sembra un po' esagerato!!
No thanks ..😅
Follia!
These won’t age well.
If you need these glasses to tell you how to ride then you shouldn't be riding
Or, you don't have the money for this extra cool toy 🤡😂
Looser
.. so you saying that everybody who has a headup display in the car should stop driving a car as well, because that's what is is all about - sometimes I think people just have nothing else to do than writing negative comments.
@alexanderrech4591 do you wear digital glasses that tells you when to brake and turn and how much to turn the steering wheel ?
@@jasoncarthew2279 No and I can't get it from the video as well that it tells you when to brake and how much to turn. It simply projects all information from a navigation system on the glasses, that's why I was so confused by your comment.
Peasant - it's BMW FFS 😅
