Had to pay duty on an imported kayak in 2000. Had it been a canoe, it would have been duty free. Had I intended to paddle it with a single bladed paddle, and had I planned to install a kneeling saddle, I could have legally called it a canoe. But I intended to sit and use a double bladed paddle -- so it was a kayak. Mens rea.
@@RUFUSKNAPP There might bei some insane tax rules in your country, doesnt change what those boats are. I am aware that Americans dont differentiate between Canadian and Canoe. The rest of the world does. Including the International Canoe Federation - that is the association for all canoes, so Canadians and Kayaks. Because they are both Canoes.
"sawley weir on the river trent" is the most british sounding thing ever.
Man, this makes me miss living in Nottingham! The Trent produces some of the best river waves in the UK (when there's enough water hanging around).
Need to do some shots with Gopro on Tuesday for Paris Olympics. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience this is invaluable
I love even just the fact that these blokes were out there doing this
Yeah I was impressed when I filmed it.. was an extremely cold day.
Красота!)
Where did they get these boats, the 1970's?
Yes! Nice wave! Wow
Hey, hey, you, you get off of my wave.
Try riding it at the top of the wave ‼︎ I think it's more fun than the bottom of the wave.
4:44 happy days
Nice. High speed surfing.
Serious riders ! Watch out the log !! 😅
Yeah the log had me worried too!😳
The infinite wave 😮
You need shorter playboats vs slalom boats for that wave!
super geil!
the boys having fun
Is this difficult? Entertaining? Both?
its incredibly fun
@@Thomasretailleau: it certainly looks like that: they can't seem to get enough of it.
YES 😉
Good times 💦
Stomach bug river trent
Yeah you wouldn’t get me in there!.. 😮
The Trent Trots 😂💩
These guys heads are swelling with the camera on them, show offs. And why are they just sat there doing nothing?
DOOD is hogging it
Watar raiding
Kayaking not canoeing
Oops.. my bad
A kayak is a canoe so the word is completely correct. Nice video anyway
