It was a GOOD workout!!!! It was the right amount of time, and I felt good afterwards: like I had done something effective. YES! I will check out the others on the playlist. 👏👏👏👏👏
I looove your workouts, and your mommy tummy fix! Would really love to have some pregnancy LISS workouts though as I am prego again and 32wks and struggling with vericose vains with this pregnancy, exercises help but so hard to find workout like you do that I can just play and follow along for pregnancy, please. I would buy another course if you made it for this too!! I have gotten all my sisters to taken your mommy tummy fix course cause of the amazing results they saw I had.
One of your best workouts. When I started working out, I couldn't even do all the exercises. 4 months later, I use it for a warmup before running. My 50+ year body is transforming. Muscles are toned. I think I am now lighter than when I finished college in 1994. Thank you so much!
Hey. Been doing this for around 7 weeks now and wow, its really transitioned me from being a mid 20s sloth who could not dream of working out, to doing this 3 times a week and found a new passion. I keep trying to improve each day and feel amazing. Genuinely thank you and to anyone who is starting, DON'T GIVE UP. Do this at least 2 times a week if you can and remember to let your body recover and things will work out. You got this and make sure to do at your own pace. Honestly thank you so much!
Thanks for another perfect little gem. I workout 💪 to your videos 2-4 times a week. Your form is excellent and your no nonsense style is refreshing. I use modifications often only because I'm a60 year old female. But I'm keeping up and can laugh at the one's who aren't doing anything. It's been a while since you posted. Thanks. I love everything you do and have been following you since covid shutdown. U r 1 of the best available on UA-cam. Looking forward to seeing more.
I'm almost 30 and haven't been really active since high school. I walk a lot for work, but other than that, that's it. I've been sick and tired of the way I look so I scoured to find something that I could pick up quickly and stick to, and this is it. I've always hated being out of breath, tired and sweaty. After I finished this workout, I was actually smiling and laughing with sweat dripping down my face. I've never had that feeling. This was really easy to pick up and follow. I love how you also showed how to amp it up when we're comfortable. I had fun. I'm so excited for my healthier future and I can't thank you enough!
Exercise strengthens your heart and improves your circulation. The increased blood flow raises the oxygen levels in your body. This helps lower your risk of heart diseases such as high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, and heart attack.
Couldn't agree more, Daily Dose of Medicine! So many positive benefits from exercise; I hope this video helps everyone take one healthy step towards their goals. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Yes, please make more videos like this! I would love to see that incorporate light weights as well, or to have the option to add weights. I love your 15 minute HIIT with weights video the most!!
My sister, who has Parkinsons, and I have been working out via Zoom most Sundays since Covid began. We have done a lot of You Tube workouts and have recently come across yours. We both agreed that yours are done very well but if we could make suggestion it would be to make the rest interval between exercises/stretches longer than 5 seconds. You are often explaining the exercise during the "active" time so the full 30 seconds of "work" is shortened. Also it is hard for older people to transition from a standing position to a seated/lying down position on the floor and then to get up again. It is helpful when floor exercises are done in a group and then standing exercises are done as a group. I am going to look for more of your workouts as they are otherwise done very well. Thank you!
Hey, As a university student, I live a sedentary lifestyle; and I’m glad I came across this channel. I feel like the channel is both entertaining and educational. I have a few questions regarding hip openers (stretches) 1- Are exercises such as the frog pose and splits not recommended by physiotherapists? 2- How long does it take on average to correct an anterior pelvic tilt? 3- I’ve come across articles and videos that state that hips should be strengthened rather than stretched, do you agree with that sentiment ? ~ Suggestion (Idea) ^ Have you considered doing a video (tutorial) demonstrating the best full body stretches one could do as soon as they wake up.
This is my first time working out in years. At 37 im bogged down in work and have little motivation. I did a youtube search a found this today, watched it and tried to keep up, did better than I thought but need to work on it for sure. I'm pretty sedentary and lazy, so if anyone was considering a way to just get active so your not sitting around all day this was pretty simple and definitely gets the blood flowing. I'll update in a few weeks.
I'm in my 40s and started doing this video about a month ago. I barely made it through the first two super sets on my first try. I was determined to keep going, because I knew how out of shape I was. I have done this about 2-3 times a week in combination with walking/jogging on other days. I can now make it through the whole set, and I am pushing myself to go faster each time. This has greatly strengthened my legs and core. Thank you for the video.
Just did my first exercise with this workout and already got muscles aching all over my body. Wow, what a feeling. Definitely doing this again tomorrow. Thanks!
Anyway you could kill the mid-roll ad? Totally understand if music rights won't let you. But it's messing with the timing of the 2 minutes on 30 seconds off. Love the workout. Doing this one twice a week!
Thank you for the modifications in this workout. You have helped me a TON with your videos on strethening the knee! Nike should sponsor you to model their athletic wear!😊
I have been doing the 8 minute stretch for people who are not flexlible. I feel more confident that a trained physical therapist is guiding me through the stretching. It's exactly what I was looking for and I'm hoping to progress.
Solid and straight forward workout for limited time. I like the split screen with advanced options. I personally enjoy less talking but wouldn't mind specific reminders about common mistakes during exercises (be mindful of your core, shoulders down, etc)
You are AMAZING. Your videos give me ZERO excuses not to exercise. If I start one that is too hard, there are MANY MORE OPTIONS. I feel so good! You are the best at home physical therapist!!!!
Thanks man! I'm pretty out of shape and was looking for a good beginner's workout that still stretched me but I was actually able to follow along with and this one was just the right level.
Jared! Thank you so much for all you do to help promote better health. I enjoyed this workout. The only thing I would suggest would be be to show the upcoming exercise(s) / movement (like in a bubble) during the cool down so we know what's coming next. Not a big deal, maybe would be helpful for those that are unfamiliar or are otherwise forget the names of the exercises. 😬😂 Also, do you happen to have a follow along for a full stretching routine? Again, thanks for all you do! 🙏😊
I'm currently on day 4 doing the 21 day challenge and would like to know can this be incorporated with it. I now am following all your programs. Thank you and your lovely wife you both have given me hope
Oh, man, I thought I was fit. Second day after going through this I have sore muscles all over my body :) Will be back in few days. Thank you for this.
Honestly, I liked doing these exercises, man! This vid was amazing!😄⭐⭐ I'm actually waiting until abs would show up or to get abs. This helped a lot. I'll do this almost every day, thank you!
Fantastic beginner workout. Just the right amount of talking and music. I like that we are given more advanced exercises if you need them. Recovering from a long injury, so core was in good shape, but arms/chest/legs needed some work. I sweat and get a little short of breath. Perfect place to start my overall body conditioning. More please (w/ the music)
Wow thanks for this presentation it really helped me get motivated and learn more about doing exercises properly you are a very good teacher and explained the exercises very clear and professionally I look forward to seeing on the next exercise video thanks again sending love from the UK 🇬🇧👍💪😁🇬🇧

I am obese and need to lose weight because of my knee and back. I have found many workouts online and gave up because I couldn't do any of them. Your video popped up so I decided to look at it. I can't do the whole workout but it's easier than other workouts I tried. Thank you for showing people like me easier ways to work up to the harder workouts. I am going to do my best to keep this up. Thanks again for the beginner workout.
This is one of the best workout for me. I'm 96kg and have a hard time following other videos of " beginners workout". This video actually is easier for obese person like me and i appreciate that.
This is the perfect workout to do after a short 10 minute HIIT workout or on it's own for a lighter exercise day. I'd love to see more 20 minute bodyweight workouts. I know weights are important, but I feel like my body responds best and tones faster with bodyweight exercises. Especially floor work.
Dr. Jared thank you for your awesome videos. Your knee exercises prepared me for surgery and my recovery was great! Unfortunately they found I have severe arthritis and have advised me not to do lunges or squats. Do you have alternative moves to do in place of the lunges and squats? Thank you :)
Just started my fitness journey to lose a few kilos and gain some muscle lost around 3 kilos in 4 weeks so not bad going still a long way off where I want to be but we keep moving forward. Love your videos love to see more home workouts. Keep up the good work😉👍💪
I love this workout! It hits all the muscle groups and I feel “worked” when finished. I also like the music as it motivates and gives a rhythm to the moves. Thank you Jared for posting so many helpful videos. I am a huge fan. I would like the see a stability ball workout.
Thanks for the video ! If I can say maybe one thing to improve would be the song of the buzzer/bell, it's difficult to hear when we switch exercises especially with exercises when we can't look at the screen 🙂
This looks like a good starting routine, the only exercises I'm anticipating being very difficult for me are the dips and the walking planks, but hey I recently started doing your 10 minute posture exercises every day for about a week now and at first I couldn't do the reverse crunches, had to do the marches like you suggested in the video if the reverse crunches were too hard, and after 4 or 5 days I was able to do the reverse crunches for all three sets.
I just started working out after many years. I chose this workout because of the choices given for more advanced versions. I was like, if there are more advanced versions I can definitely do the "easy ones". So after my first try I almost passed out and threw up (couldn't even do every set in its entirety). After a week I just managed to barely make it whole, of course in a slower pace than what's been shown (still feeling sick :P). Feels great, thanks for the video! A question, in the lower abs workout where you pull your legs into the air, you said keep your back straight. I kinda cant do it every time my legs move I feel the lower part of my back to bend. Any tips?
Hi i am writing this while gasping for air and the sweat is running down my crack like niagara falls right now. I startet working out only like 3 weeks ago after over 10 years no exercice att all smoking and drinking. Today i made it through the complete 20 minutes for my first time and it feels so fucking good. i never understood why people love sports so much, now i know, i havent felt better in like 15 years or more right now after the workout. I will definitly stick to it. Thanks allot
Hey Jared, awesome beginner workout routine! Wanted to also ask if doing this workout twice a day is fine (morning and evenings)? Or do you need to give your body more time to rest? Thanks!
Saw the video after i come back from work cant wait to do this for me everyday also normally i see your videos in night on thursdays as am in Singapore love your channel sooooooooooo much love your exercises soooooooooo much
Usually I schedule them for 6:15 AM, but I forgot to change the time last night! 🤦🏻♂️ This one went up at midnight! Special bonus, I guess! Hope you enjoy the video, Ramya!
Hello! I want to congratulate you for your work and dedication. I exercise every morning with your video and was wondering if you could create the exact same video with the same exercises but with 45 to 60 seconds of exercise and 30 seconds of rest. I would greatly appreciate it if you could make it happen. Thank you very much. Best wishes to you.
46 y/o Dadbod checking in: this smoked me. Granted I haven't exercised (other than golf) since 2017, but I was proud to make it all the way to the second set of overhead claps. Super-setting squats and lunges is just plain evil. xD
@@toneandtighten don't be too proud, yet. DOMS kept me away from a second run until today, and I only managed about half of it. I added plenty of stretching in the intervals. See you again every M-W-F for the next four weeks (at least). 👍
Thank you so much for your videos! I have been to two different physical therapy practices here in my city over the last 3 months and neither one of them can do anything to help with my lower back pain. They are not doing any of the exercises that are making any help in any difference to the pain. The only thing that seems to be helping at all are the videos that you have put out but unfortunately I can't come into your practice to actually work with you to get therapy. ( Since I am not in your area). I would be lost without your videos so please know that you are helping someone if not many many someones!
Oh this comment completely makes my day, Renee H! I'm thrilled that you've found some relief from what I share. It's comments like this that make it easy to keep publishing videos and I'm so glad you shared with me. Thank you so much! May you continue to receive relief from your pain and comfort through this experience. Good luck! 🙏🏼
I had the synvisc knee injection done 5 years ago and I try very hard not to put any pressure on my right knee as I don't ever want to go back to that pain. I also suffer from cervical spondylosis and a herniated disc not forgetting the carpal tunnel. Yup, I am broken. Can you do another home work out so I don't have to put pressure on theses areas 🥺 I always love working out but is restricted due to these problem. Thank you🙏
I have a few questions and was hoping you could answer them if possible: For almost half a month I'm doing a cardio routine of 20 min hiit from a youtuber called Chris Heria that he published a few weeks ago, I've been doing it for almost half a month, the only thing is that I have not changed my diet much (and I know it is very important), it was difficult at first and although it is still difficult at least I have consistency. I am really at a basic level I would say but I am doing my best with the time I have available. I weigh 50 kg and I'm 1.63 cm tall and I'm a bit chubby? Also since 1 month ago I'm doing 100 push-ups a day, at the beginning I couldn't even do 10 and I had to rotate between 50 in the morning and 50 at night, but eventually I was increasing the intensity (with perfect form) and so far I can do the 100 in the morning in 2 sets of 15 and the rest of 10 (although it is difficult at the end) and do the cardio at night. I wanted to know if I will eventually see progress, I have had a hard time starting all this but I really want to make a change in my healthy life, I would appreciate if you could give me some kind of direction. I plan to buy a jump rope and get started on it. Sorry if this is not the comment you were expecting, thanks for the routine and have a great day!
Quick question. I am at the very start . should I do this every day or should I rest some days? regardless , great stuff . definitely made me notice the exercises that I am week. Will do this until I am comfortable with all of them =) Thanks for the video
Just a video suggestion. Maybe explain or make a video why belly fat doesnt go away or is the last thing to go away specifically for men. Ive herd it all from its genetics to evolution. My whole body is solid but the belly is just a part of me and im just gonna accept it. I have tried everything but it stays so im gonna embrace it.
Flat bellies are built in the kitchen, Phantom of the Vegan flatland! First place to make changes is with your diet. But I also recommend Low Intensity Steady State (LISS) cardio for fat burning. Here try this workout and read the description: ua-cam.com/video/sPGNkGU2LqY/v-deo.html That will help give you one more idea of how to burn fat effectively. Hope it helps!
Here's a great full-body stretching video: ua-cam.com/video/KsYUVCZzheQ/v-deo.html and I've got tons of pain relief videos on my channel for all different body parts and problems. Hope they help you!
Firstly, great video! I would like to know, if this routine can be followed everyday for few months (2-3). Is it going to build up strength in my body because I’m not an exact beginner but my body is really weak after not doing any workouts/exercises for years, so I want to get back my strength and then I can push myself forward to some advance workouts. Basically, my current goal is to build strength and get my body back on the track…PLS YOUR SUGGESTION WILL REALLY HELP ME🙏. Lastly, my main goal is to get into CALISTHENICS and have a FIT BODY…
@@toneandtighten When is it optimal to switch from 3 days a week to 5 days a week workout? Plus, is it fine to increase the time along with number of days I workout per week? Dr. Jared, last advice and I will be thankful for your help!
I have now done this workout a couple of hundred times. I wanted to mention that it is difficult to hear the 30 second bell numerous times throughout the workout. When I am actually doing the workout as you go along, it's hard to watch the video continuously so I try to listen for the bell. But quite a few times, the bell may go off but I can't hear it. By now, I know pretty much because of the music or something you said. But it would be great to see another 20 minute workout for beginners that is a little different. I am 69 and still consider myself a beginner 😀 although I am in much better shape.

Exercise strengthens your heart and improves your circulation. The increased blood flow raises the oxygen levels in your body. This helps lower your risk of heart diseases such as high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, and heart attack.

Hey,
As a university student, I live a sedentary lifestyle; and I’m glad I came across this channel. I feel like the channel is both entertaining and educational. I have a few questions regarding hip openers (stretches)
1- Are exercises such as the frog pose and splits not recommended by physiotherapists?
2- How long does it take on average to correct an anterior pelvic tilt?
3- I’ve come across articles and videos that state that hips should be strengthened rather than stretched, do you agree with that sentiment ?
~ Suggestion (Idea)

In what world is this for beginners😭😭crying in the corner....
Will be doing it consistently ✊️
Stick with it!
Hahaha.. same here. Finish in the middle. Determine to finish in the next exercise, not now.
Thanks for the video ! If I can say maybe one thing to improve would be the song of the buzzer/bell, it's difficult to hear when we switch exercises especially with exercises when we can't look at the screen 🙂
Thanks for your feedback!
You got this!
You got this!
Thank you. This was awesome 😎
Glad you enjoyed it!
You share the best stuff! It makes being healthy and active so easy-thank you!
Oh, thanks so much! I appreciate that!
Hey Jared, awesome beginner workout routine! Wanted to also ask if doing this workout twice a day is fine (morning and evenings)? Or do you need to give your body more time to rest? Thanks!
Perfect for my fitness level at this point. Thanks!
You are welcome, Jill! I hope you enjoy this workout!
Thank you for the suggestion!
Thanks for this routine. Much appreciated 🙏
You bet! I hope you enjoy it!
Thank you very much 🙏🏻😊👍👍 l’m from Türkiye 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙆♀️
My pleasure!
Love this! Thank you I subscribed!!!
Thanks for subbing!
46 y/o Dadbod checking in: this smoked me. Granted I haven't exercised (other than golf) since 2017, but I was proud to make it all the way to the second set of overhead claps.
Super-setting squats and lunges is just plain evil. xD
Way to go! Proud of you and keep it up!
Can you do another home work out so I don't have to put pressure on theses areas 🥺
I always love working out but is restricted due to these problem. Thank you🙏
Thanks for the suggestion!
Tomorrow onwards I'm going to do this beginners workout.. Thanks buddy..
You got this!
Thanks!
I have a few questions and was hoping you could answer them if possible:
For almost half a month I'm doing a cardio routine of 20 min hiit from a youtuber called Chris Heria that he published a few weeks ago, I've been doing it for almost half a month, the only thing is that I have not changed my diet much (and I know it is very important), it was difficult at first and although it is still difficult at least I have consistency.
Trying to get back to a regular routine. Thank you for what you do. As a former ‘gym rat’ I need to get my motivation back as it left with COVID.
I hope you enjoy this workout!
Quick question.
I am at the very start . should I do this every day or should I rest some days?
regardless , great stuff . definitely made me notice the exercises that I am week. Will do this until I am comfortable with all of them =)
Thanks for the video
Taking a rest day in between is good to help recover.
@@toneandtighten Thanks doing that =)
Always come back for core workouts here!
Oh, I am so glad to hear that!
I would like to view your hip stretches video again, please😊
Great video to see when waking up 🔥. The exercises and music are good too.
Thanks so much, Sean! I hope you enjoyed the workout and it helps you to progress along your fitness journey.
Totally Helped Me!
Great to hear!
Just what I needed! Thanks a bunch for this. 😃
Happy to help and I hope this is the jumpstart you need!
This must be Your best no equipment to date💪. Love the cooldown 👌💚
Thanks so much! I am so glad you enjoyed it!
Very helpful, thanks!
You're welcome!
😊 thank you!
Thank you so much this is good for me
You're so welcome!
I like how you don't smile TOO much.
My daily watch video now :)
Thank you!
You're welcome 😊 So glad you are enjoying this workout!
Can this reduce my chest and belly fat??
How often should I workout? Daily? And rest on weekends?
Sorry I missed it... My Aunt passed on the 6th... Mind been off😥. Will update when I give it a try. 🤩 I know it will help during this time.🕊
Thanks for the video 🙏
You are welcome! I hope you enjoyed the workout!
Thank you for the great video! Just a quick question, should i be doing cardio if i am trying to gain weight?
Yes! It is still a great way to increase your cardiovascular health.
You sabe lifes thanks for your videos and your personality un saludo desde Puebla México
Thanks so much for your comment, Marco!
Excellent! Thanks
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it!
This is a very good workout! My wife and I did together today. Is this something we should do daily, or maybe three times a week? Thanks!
Great! Yes, you can do daily to start. As you get stronger, you can add in some different workouts!
Hey Jared, can you make another video like this one with maybe a few different exercises? Also, without the irritating music would be great. Thanks.
Sir I want full body streching and pain relief video without any equipment
Here's a great full-body stretching video: ua-cam.com/video/KsYUVCZzheQ/v-deo.html and I've got tons of pain relief videos on my channel for all different body parts and problems. Hope they help you!
Thank you so very much…added to my favourites…:)
You are welcome, Mary Grace! I am glad you enjoyed it!
Yes, this would be a great routine to follow 3-5 days a week!
@@toneandtighten When is it optimal to switch from 3 days a week to 5 days a week workout? Plus, is it fine to increase the time along with number of days I workout per week? Dr. Jared, last advice and I will be thankful for your help!
Thank you so much sir
You're very welcome, khusboo singh! I hope you enjoy the workout! Thanks for commenting.
Plz make a video on posterior pelvic tilt
I've got tons of them here on my channel! Look for "Tone and Tighten Posture" and you should find what you're looking for.
@@toneandtighten u only have for anterior pelvic tilt. .... But I'm asking for posterior pelvic tilt... Plz suggest a video
Is this ok for varicocele patient? I had kicrosurgery 3 yrs ago but still wanted to know if its ok? And if any precautions to be taken
That was amazing!
So glad you enjoyed it!
finally a video that knows what "for beginner" means
I have now done this workout a couple of hundred times. I wanted to mention that it is difficult to hear the 30 second bell numerous times throughout the workout. When I am actually doing the workout as you go along, it's hard to watch the video continuously so I try to listen for the bell. But quite a few times, the bell may go off but I can't hear it. By now, I know pretty much because of the music or something you said. But it would be great to see another 20 minute workout for beginners that is a little different. I am 69 and still consider myself a beginner 😀 although I am in much better shape.
Too old to reply to the comments I guess.
Love it thank you.
You're very welcome, Jeffrey Speelman! I hope you liked it! Thanks for commenting.
