Thank you so much for these links. Was the foldable rocket stove you showed at the end the large or small one on that link? I think the small is around 2lbs and the large around 5lbs. I liked the size of the one you showed.
Thank You Sir
Thankyou got 2 rockets 2 bellows
I purchasing it now
"Pick your people like you pick your fruit"....that is definitely food for thought. Wise words
It’s no different. 😉👍🏽

If my fruit is not so pretty that's why my friends are so skcetchy.
Damn now I know!
Not sure if this will help anyone but this is how my family has always kept a fire going overnight or even when it’s raining. Dig a hole about 6 inches deep and about a foot around. Then we would take a thick log it doesn’t have to be long just big around. Lay it down over the the hole and in the center of the log get a small fire going on top of it or set some good red coals on it. Don’t set the log on fire just get it burning to get some coals going on it. Let it go for like a good hour or so. Roll the log over and put a few sticks and or logs around it. It will keep burning for many hours even overnight. It will even keep burning when it’s raining.
This is good information. Thank you!
Wish we could see a video of this. Heard there is a way to have a fire in ground to help hide the smoke...but forgot what that was called, would love to see that one again. Thanks
@@InLawsAttic it's called the dakota fire pit or hole. There's videos on youtube on how to make it.
@@lynnmetriuscollins6101 Thanks so much!
Man it is so refreshing to hear a brother that knows and see the world for what it really is I'm happy to hear you express it to the world or to our other brothers and sisters thank you.
Just brought my rocket stove... LeadFarmer73... thank you for sharing your YAH given wealth of Knowledge... Your ministry is helping so many people out... MAY GOD continues to bless you & your family... Shalom 🕊

I built one 2 years ago. People look at me like I’m crazy. It took just a few minutes and with twigs I built a fire and boiled water in 10 min. Resourceful energy.
I seriously love this thing!
I think rocket stoves are awesome! Gonna build one!
I built one of these out of bricks. Easy to put together and take apart.
Thank you Lead, That American dream talk was PRICELESS!
Hey Lead! I just love your videos. Your teaching me a lot. Besides having a small charcoal grill, I have a propane grill. This weekend I’ll be buying some more propane tanks and restocking my pantry. Right now I’m removing nearly expired canned food and cooking with them instead of shopping. While watching I bought the Red Camp wood burning stove, fire starter, mylar emergency blankets, life straws, and stainless camping pots and mess-ware (for bug out bags)! God bless you and your family! Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Ever since Hurricane Sandy, I've always been on the fence about cooking outside if at ALL. We went 12 days w/o power I had to cook nearly everything from my deep freezer. Many people smelled frying chicken etc, and one neighbor even came to ask how and tried invite her family over to eat. We barely said hello to those folks. All their stuff was electric, we have an old fashion gas stove you light w a match. Im thinking eating more raw to get used to it. After all cook food draws folks just like heat.
I pressure-can meats and garden produce. I can open a can and barely heat it through, and we're good to go. Puts the kibosh on the advertisement smells.
Learning while laughing, you can't beat that!!
You speak wisdom like my grandfather. So grateful to have found you! Blessings to the family!!
I absolutely LOVE your channel!
☺️ thank you so much
Lead you are a Character! You're the Rocket Man.
🤣😂🤣😂
Thank you for being descriptive , you can tell you love what you do ! Very informative!
Just watching your show. Love it. So glad to hear you open the eyes of our people
I’m doing my best thank you.
Lead next time you have damp wood put it in the top of will help to dry the wood FASTER
is there nothing this guy can't do such a wealth of knowledge thank you
Keep dropping those Jewels of Life. We need to hear it.
“Make it dip a lil bit”Yeah. 😂. I truly love watching your videos. I’m learning so much and feel more prepared for a tough time. Thanks for the knowledge you share and thanks for keeping us entertained!
You could also use empty toilet roll tubes stuffed with dryer lint. Works great as a fire starter
Thank you for Speaking the truth! Wake Up Every Body 🤗♥️
I’m trying to splash a little water on folks faces 🤣😂 💦
@@leadfarmer73 Your The Man. I Thank You, For Your Wisdom, Honesty & Sincerity. We Need To Wake Them Up, With A Fire Hose.
Thank you Lead I've been watching you for about six months. I have learned so much and have been introduced to some wonderful people by listening to your channel. I don't comment, because there's so much to learn. Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you and that I'm watching and listening.
Man that rocket stove is cool and a new must have. Thanks for the info!
I have a link below for you 👍🏽
@@leadfarmer73 Good looking out! I like the carrying bag too. It's cheap too, I see why you said it makes sense to just buy it instead of making it.
I’m addicted to your content, I feel like I was meant to find you during this unpredictable time on earth!
Do you recommend any good survival books for cooking and general survival techniques?
Just incase the grid goes out and I no longer have access to your videos haha!
🤣😂
@@leadfarmer73 no, but seriously lol I'm with@The Happy Carpenter
Tons of them all over the net.
@@freedomforever1962 indeed... I was asking for recommendations so I don’t waste my money on something shite.
Mr. Lead, we sure enjoy watching your videos! Thank you for all the help! We are proud new owners of our Bluetti! Can’t wait to see all we can do with it… 😊
Fire likes to go vertical so when first lighting sometimes it helps to put the wood in vertically from the top.
Wow, Lead...you're so wise! So right about the American Dream...you've got me thinking! Love you and Lady ❤️ Thank you!
Get a supply of fat wood... Pitch from any pine tree or other trees like maple. Pitch will always start and keep going even in rain. You are so beautiful and positive!
I'd suggest putting a couple sticks in vertical with the straw to get it lit faster. It will increase the draft when lit, and produce coals to dry and ignite the horizontal sticks. Just found your channel. You sir earned a sub!
I've been telling people this for the last 8 years.
I have a garden.. grow as much vegetables as I can add. I would love to have live stock.. I just can't convince my husband that this time in life is getting serious. He finally agreed to plant fruit trees.. He knows what's going on in the world. I believe he is in denial, cause all he's focused on is his classic trucks and boat. We love fishing. But its not good to eat everyday in my opinion. Having all that said.. You guys are amazing!!
Love every minute of watching and learning. Keep it up please. Cause I need you guys in the rest of my life. It has been hard running survival living by my self. But at least I have God and you two to get me through. Much Love and sending my prayers that God continue to bless you all. 💜
I missed the live and the discount code but I enjoyed the video demonstration and I ordered the stove and the billow today. We have been experiencing a few rolling blackouts lately and it has been an eye opener. I’m a beginner gardener and canner but I’m trying hard to get what I need to take care of my family in these troubled times. I have some food and by God’s Grace we will not starve!! Thank you Lead!!!
Lime juice, jalapeño, salt & pepper...I’ve got to try this on boneless skinless chicken breast! Your videos ads always so helpful!
Family we need to get ready. It's going down in a major way. Please people get prepped. 🙏
Son built me a rocket stove for my birthday a few years ago. Use the hell out of that thing at hunting camp. Support on top holds a dutch oven perfect.
Air mattress pumps work awesome for forced air on a fire
I think your fire would be hotter if you had better air flow. Looks like your skillet is sitting directly on the top of the stove pipe... a little elevation would help a lot.
Lead, I believe you can preach! I love you and Lady Lead. Trying to get my husband to listen to you. You remind me of a male T. Brown! My people from Greeleyville,SC., you are a treat to watch and learn from. Blessings
Will be watching this replay I caught the tail end of the live but I’ve been waiting for your video on the rocket stove !!! Thanks for you and lady lead’s time always sharing these necessary tips and plans
Thank you Britt🌹
you're right it's hard to start a fire. I was about 12 years old, I woke up my mom had already went to work my brothers where gone and the fire had went out in the wood heater , so I had to start the fire for the first time . I tried everything Mama's rubbing alcohol, I even used old cooking grease, that started the fire. But it wasn't hot enough so I decide to get a arm load of fatt ladder wood to put in the heater, the heater turn red hot, the pipe turn red hot and it was heading to the wall, I got scared and threw water on it, went back and jump in the bed. At that time I knew I could survive most situations I just need someone to teach me the right way. I thank God I have five brothers that taught me a little something about everything.
Wow I can so picture you with the fatt ladder wood and the pipe turning red 😱 Scarey. And then throwing water on it 🤣 and jumping in bed like. Hey I dunno what happened
Lead I have 40 acres of pine trees. I use the pine cones and dip them in old candle wax . They make excellent fire starters, the best I have ever used. Of course it doesn't help if your wood is wet. I put the pinecones in a trash bag seal it up and store in garage. they can be crushed for smaller area to take with you.
I like watching your show the first time I saw you show
I wanted to show you my rocket stove my husband made for me. This one can't be carried around though because it is pretty heavy. The barrel thing is very thick and heavy since it's an old pressure tank to air up tires and stuff. Rocket Stove, making coffee, and trimming leaves off my mullein (NEED LARGER TWIGS LOL) - UA-cam is the link for it.
Save your lints from your dryer machine. That thing can catch on fire on one strike! Please try it, you will like it. BTW, I love to watch your videos. You reminded me of me 15 years ago when I first started prepping
We learned that technique in Girl Scout about 45years ago. But back then then we would mix a little Vasoline with the lint , then we would place it in a cardboard egg carton. Great fire starter. Girl Scouts taught me great survival skills. Even starting a small fire and boiling water in less then 10 minuets.
@@rachelletate7681 45 years ago? Says what? You two are not even that old!
Thank you as always. Such useful information for the real life issues we will be facing.
You can make a rocket stove by acquiring a piece of log 6 to 8" diameter. Drill a hole in one end 1" diameter about 6" down and then in the side until it meets the vertical hole. Start the fire at the bottom of the vertical hole. Use cotton balls in Vaseline. Then log will, burnfrom inside out.. Use it to cook and thf en for warmth.
OMG…!! I love this! I grow up on a 10 ac. Homestead! This brings back so many childhood memories!!
We just had a family gathering not long ago. My uncles Fired Chicken in cauldron. Man you talking bout OFF the chain!
Amen Brother Lead Farmer 73…You broke down the “American Dream”. I never thought about it like that. Thank you for sharing and putting your light on it.
This was so helpful for me as I was not a girl Scout or camper at any pt so far. Fire starting and the tips for humidity hampering a quick process.
Humidity can really ruin your day in a survival situation
Self sufficient love what you share with us!
Had to come back for the beginning of this one. Thanks again for the shout outs, Brother Lead. You have an off grid cooking arsenal like we do! 🤣😂🤣
Dryer lint spritzed with regular cooking oil is a great firestarter.
Hearing those crickets is so summer time night and soothing
I missed this last night! But I enjoyed it this morning. Thank you for showing us the different ways of growing, picking, and cooking outside... providing the discounted links. The arsenal is growing step by step thanks to you all. 🙏 Erykah Badu.."so I pick my friends like I pick my fruit, daddy taught me that when I was only a youth," we're going hard! Thanks for the reminder. Just like shedding the weight and decluttering that home... we must choose better relationships as well. Great morning with you sir! Thanks!
I AM GOING TO INVEST IN THE ROCKET STOVE, SOLAR PANELS, AND THE SOLAR CONVERTER. THANK YOU.
just found your channel,I love it.....when starting a fire with the mag stick use a cotton ball with vaseline on it and it will start right up.
Wow I'm in the middle of watching your video and you just spoke to my soul I'm going through some things and you spoke those words in the middle of my tears I stop crying immediately because this was a word for me to hear. To pick whats good for me Like I pick my fruit. I'm also drinking tumer ginger green tea with apple Cider I drink a cup every day after coming from out in the world but I just want to say your my favorite UA-camr this year and you remind me of my father who's no longer with us he taught us everything but now I can no longer get that but THANK YOU KEEP POSTING I'LL KEEP SUPPORTING AND SHARING WITH MY FAMILY BLESSINGS ❤ " MY UA-cam DAD"
I JUST missed you live (last 3 mins), and looking forward to practicing on the rocket stove at home. All the best and good luck on your "50#" journey!
I get more from this man then just frying chicken... something no one takes away from you. Knowledge
George Carlin said "You know why they call it the American dream don't you? Because you got to be asleep to believe in it."
Amen! 🙏🏽 he was Totally correct!
I have a brick rocket stove . Save your lent from your dryer then put a little Vaseline in it. And if you have pine cones like me , put the lent in between the pine cone best fire starter .
Thank you Sir.
Thank you for the knowledge I am implementing all of that into my life
Great live
Thank you 🙏🏽
Brother Lead, man has not revealed these things to you, the spirit of God has revealed these things to you. Keep harvesting Gods wisdom!!
Yes it is also the Dekota firehole or firepit.
Use a tuna can with a wire scouring pad with a piece of cotton strip pulled through it soaked in a little 91% alcohol as "gas" for the folding stove. It'll work in an emergency!
I don’t understand that -
@@anneiconex1473 Many ways to make an alcohol stove, you just have to research.
I am watching a different video of yours on the telly. But just wanted to thank you someway! So thank you! I appreciate your talk about solar info. So great. ♥️
Fell asleep watching youtube on my tv, woke up to this. Subbed!
My grandfather dug a hole and lined it with brick to BBQ
I have all of the those that's you mentioned. Moringa, ginger, tumeric, and some others too. I even use ayuverdic ingredients in my hair. I thank some of those people on UA-cam who are into ayurvedic herbs, and they have truly worked.
THANKYOU
I ordered the Tafeida large rocket stove.
Your gonna love it
God blessed you.all
Hey buddy I appreciate your videos I really do I'm learning things keep up the good work
What's up Gardening Family!!! It's been a while! But i'm still here!!
Easiest way I ever found to fry chicken is to roll it in mayo or something of that sort, then roll it in crushed corn flakes as a crispy coating.
Saw the thumbnail and the title and had to come and see what Mr. Lead was up to. I know you are and will save lives Mr. Lead.
Ohhhhh man I LOVE me some Lead! I agree, he is the GOAT. I learn something new every time I watch him and he never fails to make me belly laugh. He's good medicine for my soul. Thanks Lead for showing me how to use the rocket stove. Now I know I don't have to buy the most expensive one. After getting my counselling on picking a mate from this video, I need to add "Reverend Lead" to his title.
i dont use batter or flour i roast my veggiies first mushroom onion green pepper then add meat i use homemade canned jam usually peach or apple then broil it is delicious
When you have time please talk about your banana tree the reason I am asking I have one and he is about 4 months old I also have banana plants I had them from last year when do they fruit please talk about your lemon tree
I have tons of videos on my bananas and how to get fruit in my banana playlist.😉
Blessing to everyone i got me 1 2 weeks ago . your videos are very helpful to me and my family
Led, if you put a damp cloth underneath your cutting board, it will keep it from sliding
First time here, I was scrolling down to look at other videos and came across yours. Glad I did
You can make a rocket stove with cans, cans form canned food.
There are many different types/sizes and so many videos on how to make them in UA-cam.
Just a thought...in a real bug-out situation, people need to THINK about wild animals that were once in the zoo, especially if you live near one. Those animals are going to have most of the same NEEDS as humans...shelter, food and water. We humans will be on their menu. So have the right kind of ammo and enough if it.
You are amazing! Because of you, I started prepping. Need to get solar system. Having charcoal grill, camping grill/heater that run off propane. Have solar lighting and plenty of other items. Thank you for sharing and taking time to educate us.
Love that
You have your garden in order. I have a yard with nothing in it, which is totally STUPPID considering what time we're in. I saw you had pomegranate, yum. You Give GREAT LESSONS.
Good wake-up call thank you.
love your garden
Swedish fire log works amazingly.
Oh heck!....he's a Poet too! 😳

I have that exact folding firebox in my bug out bag as well! :)
Thank you for doing this awesome video. I am so grateful for you guys, your passion and all you do for us out here! I am learning so much! In fact, everytime I order/purchase what we need to prepare, by watching your videos it brings peace and should my ends be a little low, my peace and a since of security is restored when able to purchase the essentials needed to survive. All praises to the Most High for using you and your wife as a vessel to teach and guide us in the event of an emergency.

We love you from Philadelphia
Love your Wisdom!
Start a fire in the rain ? I was a 30+ year old single mom who took her twins on 10 day camping trips every summer for 8 years when we lived in Rainville, Wa. I can build an outdoor fire in any kind weather, cold, wind or rain. We outdoor-happy Moms can do what any Navy Seal can do. Don't ever underestimate the power of a natural determined Mom.
I am. Big fan of my Biolite base camp which also produces power. Its realtively smoke free and comes with its own fan as it gets hot enough. I liked it so much, I bought the trail version biolite camp stove 2 with the grill and the kettle.
Awesome video. Pick your people like you pick your fruit. Unbreed that stuff out of you. Powerful!♥️
You must have good energy if the frog wanna get on you.
You have the best spirit! Love your videos.... mistakes and all....
Hi Mr. Lead. U cooking outdoors reminds me of when i was in a survival program called 'Urban Pioneers'. We had to learn how to survive in the wilderness with our peers and counselors in Los Padres. With only our carefully sorted out meals for each day. Everyone in the patrol had 3-4 meals each tightly and carefully pack in our backpacks for different days for everyone to eat. Like 1i had breakfast for Day 1, lunch for Day 6, dinner for day 10. Someone else had lunch for Day 2, breakfast for Day 4, and so forth. We would always start a fire by digging a hole in the earth and starting a fire with nearby twigs and wood with a lighter and a firestarter brick. Using just a pinch of a firestarter brick will continue to stay on fire when it's windy and cold out even when we had to start a fire on top the mountain where it was snow up there. Cooking outdoors is different but fun. My favorites i liked to cook for the patrols was well seasoned pasta or cooked crushed ramen noodles on cold nights. Thank u for always sharing, peace nd thank u
Awesome!
