Chung Ha did have a break up, but with har label. After "Bare & Rare pt 1", the album of "Sparkling", she left her contract run out. "Querencia", the album of "Play", "Bicycle" and "Stay Tonight" also had other 3 MVs, and it's a full album with 21 tracks, and it's amazing (the best album of 2021, hands down), but I think it was financially, emotionally and creatively taxing on her and the people which she worked with. That's why between "Demente" and "Killing Me" there's 9 months, and between the releases of "Querencia" and "B&R 1" it was almost a year and a half. Now, she's on MORE VISION (Jay Park's label), soon to begin a comeback cycle again, and I hope she could get to realize her vision because she's musically ambitious and immensely talented as you saw. Glad you could know her in this focus.
Bicycle is dangerous but Dream of You is deadly. Like, make sure you have water on hand. Killing Me is my favourite song of hers. I've never recovered from the line "miss the future so bad, wish that we could go back".
Hm... I hope you would consider adding Sunmi to that list. IU does 'sweet' and 'strait-laced'; Chung-ha does 'In-Your-Face all-rounder'. Nobody does 'quirky' like Sunmi, she's her own sub-genre...
Oh man, I know we were all waiting with bated breath for the Bicycle reaction (lmao) but Stay Tonight reallly slaps. Definitely my fave Chungha song. The choreooo along with Dream of You is so good! Both have been on my list of choreos to learn for ages 😂
If you ever want to watch variety show with her then watch one of the best Korean variety shows ever made, in my opinion, in Running Girls. Chungha, Sunmi, Hani, YooA and Chuu form a running team and it's incredible ! Makes you laugh along the way and definitely makes you cry !!

Chungha is definitely voguing in Stay Tonight. If I recall correctly she has trained in voguing and whacking (including in the US) so she really knows what’s she’s doing! She’s also one for inclusion (LGBT choreographer, male dancers in make up and heels) and I absolutely adore her for that. I still think Bicycle could have been her in into Western pop and that’s my hill. It is SO GOOD. She did it all in Bicycle. Also recommend her song Dream of You if it isn’t already on your list for future reactions. It’s fantastic (completely in English too!), the choreo is top tier as expected 😊

Chungha doesn't do many variety shows because she is shy (used to be way more shy) and she also used to be afraid to be "evil edit" by the shows (which honestly would be hard she is super sweet), so I think watching some of her interviews would be the way to go. Her most recent interview in "Dabaek Show" maybe.

was just vibing and forgot to have thoughts lol~ i first heard sparkling when she went on amazingsaturday during promotions (during a period of time where literally all i did/could do was watch that show but im not gonna unpack that in the youtube comments section) and i didnt love the end of the chorus then, and i still dont really like it, but it turned out to be one of my favorites of her title tracks anyway~ everything about that song(except the little tiny bit that i dislike) is soooo nice and comfy to me~
