one thing that i’ll always respect about chungha is that when she goes into certain genres, she tried to include people from that dancing culture- for the voguing she incorporated a lot of queer dancers from that scene and sought a competitive ballroom dancer for “play”
If I remember correctly she only had like 2 days to learn the choreography and shoot the video for Dream of You which is INSANE. She's one of those idols that clearly knows her body, her shapes and does not skimp on the fine details. And special shout out to all her choreographers who now this about her and create some ART.
What makes Chungha so special is that she was actually in the dance scene before she became an idol. One of the dancers named Rian was her longtime friend even before debut and Chungha even asked her to help with her choreo when she debuted solo. Some of the female dancers you see in almost all of her videos are from a crew called LACHICA (together with Rian) and they’ve been doing most of her choreo. I guess that’s why she’s really comfortable with the dance she does cuz she does contribute to it sometimes and has a great relationship with her dancers

Chungha has gotten so much more fame and popularity but I still think that this bombshell of an artist deserves bigger and better and so she's still underrated. He is actually hard of hearing, he does/ did wear hearing aids. I was a fan of him from his appearance on Boys24 and also was a competitive sport dancer. He's called Kim Hongin. Some like extra info on him during covid he actually got a job in a cafe and has spoken about the difficulty of working there bc everyone was in masks so he couldn't lip read.
Chungha isn't afraid to embrace her masculine side, whether in dance or fashion and I adore that about her. Plus she can flip between both on a dime and that just adds some extra sauce to her artistry.

i couldn't agree more, i mean i listen to her music, but i didn't stop to watch her videos, now that i saw this one i started to watch each one of her videos carefully and wuo, for me she is in the top 3 of the best kpop dancers, her visuals are more than incredible, her fluidity, the control of her body, those movements so precise, symmetrical and harmonic are very difficult to see in other artists, really this video shows us how underrated this woman is. she is perfection.

Chungha is one of my favorite artists because not only can she sing and is GORGEOUS, her dancing is killer. Whenever I put on a UA-cam playlist to clean and I hear Chungha, I always have to drop everything to watch one of her MVs because she and the other dancers are just so worth it to give the time to watch.
Aside from Lachica, she is also an excellent choreographer herself. She choreographed one of the missions in Produce 101 and don't forget the iconic IOI Whatta Man choreography. She started off as a dancer and is a dancer through and through.

one thing about chungha’s team is that most of the people she works with are her friends that have been with her for a long time and some that have been with her before she even became an idol. she was actually a dancer before being an idol and even her long time friend rian choreographs for her most of the time alongside her crew “LACHICA” who are also good friends with chungha, so they work really well together since they’ve been working together for such a long time and know what chungha wants and her capabilities. chungha also helps out a lot and puts a lot of her own input into choreographies. also the reason why she keeps her hands like that most of the time is because she’s a waacker. also she’s one of the few idols who let her dancers shine in her songs like in stay tonight where they had their own little dance break and in play where the b-boys had a little dance break too. and letting dancers shine and having so much respect for ur team may seem like the bare minimum but i feel like especially in kpop choreographies where the idols are supposed to be the main attraction, seeing how she really goes out of her way to just give her dancers their own moment is so nice to see. and through her choreographies and performances, u can really see how she’s just always having fun with her dancers and is so happy to just be dancing. also she’s mentioned many times before that she hates the term “backup/background dancers” because the dancers are also artists that help to perfect and draw the pictures which the singer is painting. overall chungha is one of the sweetest most talented and respectful idol and i’m so happy you guys finally reacted to her

Chungha is definitely one of the best solo performers I’ve seen in awhile. She delivers with dance, charisma, and vocals. The dancers you guys see a lot in her vids are La Chica, they’ve actually choreographed a majority of her songs and they’re super close. She mentions them every time she wins an award in the performance category. 🥹💕

One of the best things about Chungha is that she dances with her whole body. Svery move goes all the way from the center of her body to the very ends. She almost moves in waves. She’s not afraid to use her shoulders or her back and it makes everything feel so complete. You don’t see that all the time in K-pop but when you do it’s amazing.

I’ve said this before but Chungha and her close friend/choreographer Rian from La Chica were attending the same dance academy when they were younger so she’s trained and it shows I may have cried a bit during the video so proud of her personal growth and efforts to shed some light onto “lesser fortunate” ones on her platform We stan a brilliant, talented, and politically sensitive queen!
You don't know how much I've been waiting for this video. I love you guys. Chung Ha is one of my favorite artist. Her dancing is unique, she always look so delicate and makes the choreos look so effortless.
I haven't really seen a comment for fully explaining everything, but pretty much every title song she has (minus her song bicycle) is choreographed by a dance group called LACHICA, who were also in the Korean dance show Street Woman Fighter. LACHICA also are good friends with another crew called The Coming Out Crew which are the men in both Dream of You and Stay Tonight. Stay Tonight also features Love Ran who is known as the Mother of Vogueing in Korea (She is the first center during the big dance break).
She is the only one in k-pop who attracted my attention because her facial expressions and ability to dance at a very high level and she is very different from ordinary idols
CHUNGHA is ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED KPOP IDOLS. Yall shes such an amazing dancer! If its possible a part 2 would be great because there's so much more to see from Chungha! Eg. Her choreography for Bangbang during her Produce times, God is a Woman stage for KCON LA 2018, her hit the stage performances.
I think that her being a dancer first really made her bond with the other dancers and she really tries to show just how amazing they are in all her songs. That's why I love Stay Tonight because of the scene with all her dancers.
Some of the female dancers choreographed almost all of Chung ha songs. Those girls also participated in almost all Chung ha mv and dance practices. They are very good friends with her. The dancers in question are 3 of 4 female dancers from the ‘gotta go’ dance practice and their crew is called LA CHICA.

I've been waiting for this video ever since you asked in the community section which videos to react to 😍 Chungha is my favourite dancer in kpop because she has incredible killer moves AND because you can actually see her enjoying dancing. As you said, she's not afraid to use non-feminine movements and she's very comfortable with using the floor (and the pile of people 🤣🤣 omg, this cracked me up) and I just adore her as an artist and she's such a great inspiration as a dancer. ❤
Also worth noting that La Chica's Rian choreographs most of Chungha's dances, and you can see a signature style that runs through most of her choreographies. I love Chungha to death, but I’m pretty sure majority of her title songs are choreographed by La Chica. Rian (member of La Chica) even got an award during the 2020 Gaon Chart Music Awards for choreographing Chungha’s ‘Gotta Go.’ Of course, this doesn’t diminish Chungha’s talents at all-I know for a fact that she’s an extremely talented choreographer as well (I LOVE watching her freestyle dances, and I know she contributes to the choreographies of her songs too). Just, you know, gotta give credit where credit is due.

Chungha is definitely one of the best solo performers I’ve seen in awhile. She delivers with dance, charisma, and vocals. The dancers you guys see a lot in her vids are La Chica, they’ve actually choreographed a majority of her songs and they’re super close. She mentions them every time she wins an award in the performance category. 🥹💕

She’s definitely one of the best dancers I’ve EVER seen. Her and her crew are amazing and never disappoint. She has always had a different style that’s very expressive, she’s not just a good dancer, she has such a unique talented style. Love her so much. Her confidence is so refreshing.
One of the best things about Chungha is that she dances with her whole body. Svery move goes all the way from the center of her body to the very ends. She almost moves in waves. She’s not afraid to use her shoulders or her back and it makes everything feel so complete. You don’t see that all the time in K-pop but when you do it’s amazing.
She is so sassy when she's dancing, love her energy and attitude so much. Her body line and hand's movement just so fascinating
side note~ the dancer at 3:07 is deaf so it was super incredible to see not only chungha who is an incredible dancer incorporate her background dancers to take on more of a spotlight but also bring forth people with things like hearing disabilities and showcase their talents as well

Chung Ha is one of my favorite artist. Her dancing is unique, she always look so delicate and makes the choreos look so effortless.
I haven't really seen a comment for fully explaining everything, but pretty much every title song she has (minus her song bicycle) is choreographed by a dance group called LACHICA, who were also in the Korean dance show Street Woman Fighter. LACHICA also are good friends with another crew called The Coming Out Crew which are the men in both Dream of You and Stay Tonight. Stay Tonight also features Love Ran who is known as the Mother of Vogueing in Korea (She is the first center during the big dance break).
She is the only one in k-pop who attracted my attention because her facial expressions and ability to dance at a very high level and she is very different from ordinary idols

CHUNGHA is ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED KPOP IDOLS. Yall shes such an amazing dancer! If its possible a part 2 would be great because there's so much more to see from Chungha! Eg. Her choreography for Bangbang during her Produce times, God is a Woman stage for KCON LA 2018, her hit the stage performances.
I think that her being a dancer first really made her bond with the other dancers and she really tries to show just how amazing they are in all her songs. That's why I love Stay Tonight because of the scene with all her dancers.
Some of the female dancers choreographed almost all of Chung ha songs. Those girls also participated in almost all Chung ha mv and dance practices. They are very good friends with her. The dancers in question are 3 of 4 female dancers from the ‘gotta go’ dance practice and their crew is called LA CHICA.
MY GOSH THANKS never clicked so fast😭 I love Chungha to the moon and back, she's my absolute favorite dancer and overall artist! To me she's such a complete and talented dancer, no one's doing it like her❤️ I love to see dancers react to Chungha cause I learn so much! Chungha is my favourite dancer in kpop because she has incredible killer moves AND because you can actually see her enjoying dancing. I am in so much love with the fact that you reacted to the dance queen Chungha 💖 Fun fact, Chungha has a background in waacking and there are some clips of her showcasing it especially on a show called Produce 101 as well as you can see it being incorporated in her movement. Stay tonight just showcases her dancers so well but even the dance style which is called vogue which most people are now seeing it more often on mainstream and her choreographer is dancing with her too in it which is just ugh so perfect. I love Chungha to death, but I’m pretty sure majority of her title songs are choreographed by La Chica. Rian (member of La Chica) even got an award during the 2020 Gaon Chart Music Awards for choreographing Chungha’s ‘Gotta Go.’ Of course, this doesn’t diminish Chungha’s talents at all-I know for a fact that she’s an extremely talented choreographer as well (I LOVE watching her freestyle dances, and I know she contributes to the choreographies of her songs too). Just, you know, gotta give credit where credit is due.

AMAZING! Serious Suggestion - the world needs a Steezy/Chungha Collab to wake up the dancer in everyone. Something about how they just let everything flow also made the moves feel really accessible and empowering; even to an old fella who just dances in the kitchen.
