Hi Terrance, great to have an update from Rusted Iron Ranch. Those disks are doing a pretty good job for you. I hit the thumbs down by mistake I am so sorry. That will cancel out my thumbs up. We need more rain over here and looks like you could use more there. Cheers Dave.

Hey Dave thanks! The discs did work well, I ended up going over them both again on a 45deg and then followed by the harrows, looks good now. And yes we do need some more rain, hopefully in the next week and I can get the seed out prior🤞🏻.

Hi Terrance. How are your crops looking ? perhaps you have already cut it. I would love to see an update sometime if you ever get time. I have been managing on American farming channels ok but missing our Aussie small farmer channel. We had a very dry September and thankfully we caught up a bit for October and saved our hay. I thought I was going to have to graze it or cut early and hopefully get a rain for regrowth but it has worked out ok.. Dave

Hi David, they are looking very good actually, still growing, monitoring now for a good run in the weather to look at harvest. I still have a couple of videos to edit and post and will definitely be posting about hay this year! Sorry I’ve been a little slack on the UA-cam front, I’ll get back into soon. We’ve had well spaced rain here and it’s looking better than last year so far, hopefully yours works out as well. Thanks Terence

@@RustedIronRanch So happy for you that your hay has worked out well. I am looking forward to seeing some video of the hay making. On Saturday while mowing on a contract job the I think clutch pack stripped on my Ford 7700, so back to the Leyland 270 today, the tractor the Ford replaced. I am still unsure if I will tackle this job or get it done in town. Regardless I need to get on with it because I need it for the round baler. Cheers Dave.

Hi David, we have had rain, 22mm so far since putting it in 2 weekends ago (video coming), nothing coming up yet but shouldn’t be too long now hopefully. Thanks 👍🏻

Yes it certainly is, doesn’t help that I was late putting it in this year as well! 👍🏻
