Thanks, Andrew. Your tip at the end to check the heel gap with an hex key is a good one. Lots of room for error the way you did things though. Don't mean to be all negative but, viewers, if you haven't mounted before, don't be fooled into thinking it's that simple. You didn't double check the boot middle mark against the ski recommended mark. Or that the ski recommended mark is where it should be and not misprinted (important since the two skis may not be identical). You did not center punch before drilling (your bit could easily travel). After drilling the toe, you did not double check for boot alignment to see if your templates are still running true before drilling the heel holes (assuming all is perfectly symmetrical, your method works, but imperfections can creep in with both boot and binding). No mention of wood glue or epoxy. This is ok for doing an ok job if you get lucky. But there's a lot more to it. To get the idea, take a look at this excellent article: www.wildsnow.com/16524/do-it-yourself-mount-dynafit-tech-ski-bindings/

George - Thanks for all the useful comment and all are points are very true as tech bindings leave very little margin for error. My fault is that I generally have a "good enough" approach that could get viewers into trouble so that link is an excellent expansion on the basics of paper mounts which I don't recommend but are good in a pinch. I've mounted with Jigs and still had alignment issues so all the caveats (steps I failed to do / include) are even more critical.

No glue? Just curious - are you worried about water getting in?

When drilling a ski with a metal mounting plate it is standard practice to tap the screw holes. I have not seen a ski manufacturer that does not recommend this. This is an industry standard procedure in my experience.
