I have a lot of kobalt tools, I love how powerful and long lasting they are. Me and my dad use them for building floors and such at work and we love them!
Thanks for sharing! Love the way this saw looks- I think you're going to immediately feel the difference in everything you do if you were upgrading from those corded saws to this brand new 2020 model year XTR.
This tool is absolutely beautiful, I love Kobalt only because of the blue color, specs and performance don't bother me as I only use them for simple home projects.

I agree this XTR circ is a beast but also disappointed that it's a right-side blade as opposed to a left-side blade. Speaking from a right-handed point of view, which I am, there are a number of advantages to a lefty saw such as easier line of sight to the blade and notch without having to rubber-neck over the saw. It just 'feels' like you're in a more natural position (at least to me). There are other advantages (as well as disadvantages) which require more explanation than I can provide here but I'll just say that left-sided blades are my own personal preference.
Tyler Bingham If I understand you, as you are using the saw the LED is flashing while in use? Is it less than 90 days old? I believe you can return it and get a different one. Is it under warranty? Perhaps call Kobalt customer service and see what they say at 1-888-356-2258 Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST. I would want to exchange it myself. It's too new of a tool.
@@starastronomer It helps if you are like me and have too many chargers and batteries. There's a huge savings in not including a battery and charger when you already have three or four chargers. People who buy the lawn tools get em, and they expect most people buying into the Kobalt line will have bought any of their starter tool kits (drill combo, 4 tool combo, 5 tool combo, 6 tool combo).

@@starastronomer I bought the 5 pack last week as a fluke when I drove 3 hours into town. It wouldn't scan in the app and said it didnt exist. Thinking I may have gotten a unicorn deal I snatched it up lol. Paid the 399 but if you add up the tool value it seems like the best deal going these days.
@@jasonmazzy You live 3 hours away from Lowes??? To make a long story short a few days later I saw that same 5 pack tool kit in a wheeled case and bought it. Returned the new one in the case from this review. I told them about it at the store and they were cool with it. It is a hell of a good deal. And luckily it wasn't a unicorn. Not sure how long that set will be available at Lowes.

No SCHITT? I live in the country and it is windy much of the time. I DO ALL MY VIDEOS FOR FREE BTW. I am not going to buy expensive equipment. I now have well over 400+ videos - ALL DONE AT MY TIME AND EXPENSE. Thank You!

You don’t need an extra 6mm Allen wrench to install or remove the dust collector. It’s the same as the one that comes on the tool...

I’m trying to decide between the power detect (dewalt) and this model. I wish they sold this with a charger and battery at my lowes
