I only needed to decrease the pocket clip tension a little bit and bent up the clip end some on my AD-10 to ease going over the top of my jeans pocket. Still, I agree with your assessment, though I kept my AD-15, and it is great after targeted sanding, reshaping the pocket clip end and easing clip tension. Unlike other more complicated efforts, I use old Work Sharp belts to target just under the clip contact and the mod does not show while the clip is mounted.

Great review ! Thank you for the content. I'd like to see a comparison between the AD-10. & the S.O.G. Seal XR Flipper. I really love these hard use folders , the knives coming out these day's are amazing !

I have a lot of knives from Spyderco, Buck to Bark River and Winkler . This Cold Steel AD10 is put together so well that you can just feel the quality in your hand. This is my favorite knife. I’ve never bought a custom knife so I can only compare to production knives. The AD10 is the perfect knife. You won’t know until you purchase one for yourself

I picked up an AD10 on the first release and it's everything you said. I'm waiting for the AD15 to be released with smooth Micarta or G10. I don't anticipate liking it as much as the AD10 though.

Pretty sure these were generally running 150 when they came out... but they do seem to be more expensive now. Seems like a nice knife, but I'll stick with my code 4 given the large price difference between the two.

Massdrop is currently doing another drop as of 5/25/19 for $150. I missed the last one but grabbed this one. It appears out of stock everywhere else and is $179.99 from every online retailer I see. This will be my first Cold Steel. I hope it's as good as everyone says.

Got mine last week absolutely love it. It does carry lot better than youd think i can actually get past this knife easier than my pm2 the only thing i dont like is you can hold it tip and flick it open with gravity. Also while big and deffinetly cold steel it is a classy looking knife its not aggressive if you know what i mean.

Just got my flat grind from Amazon for $127. Super happy with it but I probably won’t be using this one while working at Home Depot to cut boxes. I can get by with using most of my other knives, but the loud lockup and size would most assuredly turn some heads. My manager is not one I would like to turn. Can easily deploy by 6 methods and actually find it fidget friendly.
