Kevin became my guy after The Man. He had the same emotion your dad had. He'll be missed. NASCAR has changed alot and I think he is the last of some of the good ol boys.

Harvick is definitely the last of the old guard to me because I started watching Daytona 500 2001. So my 2nd race was his 1st race. He is the last of the 1st I started watching.

I will admit that I was not a Harvick fan in the earlies, but as the years grew by, I appreciated him more.

Those 4Ever videos were so good. They showed so many aspects of his life (so mission accomplished). I’ve been a fan for 30 years, but they made me love him even more. Need to show old episodes of NASCAR 360 when he was pranking DeLana’s dad and so much more from when we started to know him.

I'm a Kyle Busch fan first but I've got lots of respect for Harvick and I am also a fan of his. The one and only NASCAR race I've attended in person was at Michigan and Harvick won that race. That's the time he took his son for a ride in the car after burnouts. Best of luck on your retirement for racing Kevin!

For me it’s the end of an era. I really got into racing in Dale Jr’s rookie yr, and I followed him until he retired. Yes, I even stuck it out with Jr during his 4yr dry spell between wins at Michigan. Then after jr retired I went to Kevin Harvick and I stayed with him until this yr because for me it was a way to keep Dale Sr’s spirit alive in the sport that he helped build. I don’t know who I’ll follow now but I will always be a Jr and Harvick fan 4ever!!!!!!!!

Mike you are 100% on the money--the sadness is the changing of the guard; end of an era if you will. Have enjoyed watching him at the track and listening to Tenfeetofwall on the scanner. Gonna miss it

Years and years, prolly 25+ ago, I ran into Kevin and his late model team at a Dairy Queen west of Bakersfield on I-5. We were the only people in the place at the time. My first impression of Kevin stuck with me for a long, long time. He was a 1st class prick. I'm glad to say, now, all these years latter, my respect and appreciation for Kevin has gone through the roof. There's very few people connected to American motor sports I respect more. He's 100% RACER and his contribution and impact on NASCAR has been earned and will be felt by generations of race fans. Can't wait to hear him in the booth into the future.

he was the last reason i paid attention to nascar. now that he is gone so am i. he was the last guy connected to the era of nascar that i liked. the ones that are left are not the grass roots guys. they came from connections and money and rides are more bought than earned. like every other sport money has ruined what it used to be.

Wasn't this video but the one where he talked about the 29 car and how much it means to people that may not watch races every week any more. NASCAR needs to hear that over and over. The fans that made this sport popular have been marginalized and priced out. You can see it with the closing of stands at tracks. Back stretch at Daytona and Charlotte. Last race my dad went to was at Charlotte in stands that are no longer there. Friend had tickets and gave to me. This was a man that would load up family in middle of night, and I'd wake up in the infield somewhere with cars warming up on track. If we couldn't get to track loaded up everyone in car and listened to it on radio until signal faded and chose another direction until it came back in. Now you have to pay to listen to it. Those people are gone and aren't coming back. New generation may not care but I think TV and streaming gonna fall and they're gonna long for the days of the average fan supporting them

Im usually all on Dale's butt... because I can. As for Harvick, please keep commentary light and fun. Remember The Speed Channel, then Larry, Mike and Daryll. I'm 52, been watching nascar since 2000. Keep it informative, not talking all over eachother the way they do now calling the race. Give us some fun....a personality we can get to know. Congrats on your career.😊

I have a friend who is terminally ill and was given 3 months to live. He loved Dale Sr and Dale Jr and Kevin Harvick. If there is way for him to meet you guys and just tour the garages or just see DEI then I would personally drive him there myself. I just need to know if that is something possible and how would I go about setting something like this up if it is possible

Never was a fan of Kevin. Really disliked him after his altercation with Chase at Bristol and Charlotte a couple of years ago. That being said, I am so sad that he is retiring. He’s a great personality. He’s a great asset to the sport. Looking forward to him being in the booth. Now if we can just get rid of obnoxious Bowyer.

To Juniors point if you look at the starting lineup from 2022 not one of the drivers from that race with Kevin's retirement not one of those drivers has a regular ride today. I don't particularly like the cars that they are running and have no affinity to any of the drivers. Guess I am just a salty senior fan!!
