I agree 80% of the equation is on the wrestlers themselves. You can say how horrible the script is but if you can cut it good like Samoa Joe or The Miz or Edge, then it is fine

@@andrefrauenknecht8190 writers in wrestling has always been around. It's needed when it's needed. You know they had writers for the attitude era right? Not hollywood writers but they had writers. You don't even need a writer for a promo. It's all about storyline.

@@andrefrauenknecht8190 They don't need writers for every promo, but they definitely need writers to structure a storyline. There were plenty of story that went no where in WCW, and it's obvious that no one had a plan when it fizzled out.

Aew could definitely do with a set Booker or writer to give the show some continuity throughout to build it towards the end instead of how they are currently doing it with segments all over the place.
I know, they're missing creative direction, the whole thing will be destroyed by Mr. Rhodes ego and nepotism.
@@veleo13 lol I doubt this is his cause. None of them own the company, the say is with tony khan. They have freedom to pitch and it’s Tony’s decision to say yes or no when he clearly does not know how to format a tv show. That’s why the audience won’t grow, actual wrestling has a small fan base, entertainment has a huge fan base. They need that balance.

I saw MVP at the Toronto Airport at the "ahem" height of his celebrity during his US title run ...he looked around nervously hoping no one would recognize him or go up and bother him ...he got his wish.
