The absolutely wild thing about Marwan's meaty B0 subharmonic is that 1. That ties Geoff Castellucci for the lowest recorded sub and 2. Marwan is only 18 years old.

Mortius, watching you nerd out about a cappella is my happy place. Please don't apologize for pausing, you could even play the song twice so the second time you can point out different things that you either didn't notice because you were noticing other things or didn't want to monologue for to long and break up the song. We are here for the pauses.

That’s the point of reaction videos, to see people’s reactions and hear what they have to say, and some people are weird and just want to watch the same video over again with just a face cam in the corner.

I'm more familiar with Peter and Tomi, and I heard their unbelievable ranges!!
You should check what they did a few months ago, separate covers of 4 Billie Ellis songs, Burry a Friend (Bobby's channel), Copycat (Marwan), My Boy (Tomi) and Therefore I Am (Peter). They all sing together, but posted on their individual channels. All so awesome!! 🔥🤯💖

Bass Singers tend to have an incredible unhumanlike range, they can go really low, but can also go really high - As we've learned from watching Geoff Castellucci and Tim Foust for a while!

According to my music instructors when I was going for my music ed degree years ago it's because the thing that makes someone a bass (thickened vocal folds) also makes them have the ability to have a large range, provided they work on it. Everyone has the ability to increase their range to a certain extent, but it's a little easier with basses. I personally believe this is the balance that we've been given by the universe because the challenge of being a bass is just being on key at all. :P

From what Peter said in his reaction video about this song, and I'm hoping that I'm remembering this right, the super low note Marwan had done at 1:10 had been a recorded and unedited B0 subharmonic note.
I honestly don't listen to Panic! At the Disco, but I really love this cover of this song because it is so well done with the arrangement, the singing, and everything in general. Definitely a fun song to listen to!

If I do not I have no idea how the song is build up/ recognizing the back-&foreground/hearing the vibe of each singer/or hearing the overall depth of the song. There is a difference between reacting and analyzing/teaching. It doesn't take long for just an amazed face to get old. I want to know more about why a song is good and about the choices good singers make. I want to learn something. I have unsubscribed from several reaction "personalities" who just watch a video and say, "That was good." I love Peter Barber's analyses and I just added you to that list. I say pause the video as much as you want. I want to hear what you're thinking. When I just want to listen to the music I watch the original video.
