I’m always amazed at how quickly you create new content over so many diverse topics. Would you ever create a “behind the scenes” video talking about your process? My first thought is that you use AI to create an overview and then you finesse it with your flair, but I’m curious.

Loved the Xena shoutout (far superior to Hercules IMHO). Spouse and I still watch it periodically and every time Xena does some absolutely physically impossible fighting move or jump, we yell “DRINK!” and take a swig of what we’re drinking. When we did it with alcoholic bevs let’s say we got drunk QUICKLY, esp during the campy early seasons 😂

I've always wondered how the religion in ancient greece came to exist in the first place, did someone make it up? Well, made up or not the belief in the gods seems to have been very strong back then, both in the Nordic countries and in Ancient Greece which were both areas with several gods and many mythological stories. The Hellenistic religion is probably, as you said, the religion with the most "freedom" and the most room for interpretation and imagination. But that also means that it could just as well have been one big story where everyone had a chance to add something to it. The thing is, if that would have been the case, why did so many believe in that religion in the first place?
Really weird when you think about it, that the whole religion could just as well have been one big story. Well but generally speaking who says it's not the same with the religions today? Just saying.
    (Not attacking anyone's beliefs here).
Great video my friend, one of my favourite topics for sure. Really interesting, learned lots of new things. Keep it up 💯.

Well everything comes from something. When it comes to religion, I take all of them in the same way really, just as different life philosophies. People have to have a core purpose, whether that be religion, or politics, or philosophy, everyone has got to have something to hang on to.

@ASMR_Historian Really interesting way of thinking. At that time there were many different situations like natural disasters that couldn't be explained and humankind is always seeking answers. So in ancient times they maybe tried to explain those situations with inhuman factors like Deities. It was often the case that people thought it was Zeus wrath when there was a storm, or Poseidon when there was an earthquake. They were often afraid to summon the wrath of the gods, which they then tried to ease with for example sacrifices. Nevertheless, I find this question really interesting precisely because of the religions with their mythical beings and the story that's behind them.

The Greeks call their country “Hellas”, hence “Hellanic”.
