I love the design of the Destiny; it's an almost perfect mix of multiple accessories with clean integration, unlike the mix & match hodgepodge of the perfect Strike. A cool pose I was able to do with my MG is to have it drawing the anti-ship while already having the beam cannon deployed underarm, letting the sword holder help support some of the weight. And I'd love to see the basic Unicorn with the Destiny's wings. Personally, I'd rather be beaten, crying, and messed up than brain fried...
Depends on you. I prefer 1/144 scale kits so naturally I'll lean more towards the RG. They're both good kits in different ways. There's alot of things to consider: Price, size, shelf space, etc.
You can click the side skirt into place if you look at the back of them there are two tabs that line up with two slots that will hold it together look closely
This kit looks amazing! I may not like the series that much, but I think the Destiny is one of the most versatile and interesting Gundam designs out there. I can't wait to pick this up and paint it in Heine Westenfluss's personal colors.
I like the Destiny's concept of "all forms in 1 unit" as a mid-season upgrade to a mecha with multiple forms. It reminds me of Kamen Rider Den-O's Climax and Super Climax Forms (though Destiny obviously came first)
I wish the RG Destiny retained the nice chrome parts from the MG, but that's just me being spoiled. This kit looks amazing and is a definite buy for me. I just hope that the inevitable RG Strike Freedom would have nice gold hands and joints.
u know why ppl flagged ur comment as spam? cuz u need to know when to stop. allow me to teach u how to become more likable by the gunpla community. one dun keep spamming about his wishlist. im going to say this here. the mg destiny is released back in 2007, which means this kit is about 5 years old. it already have amazing articulations and detailed that can rival many of the newer master grades. so i dun see the point in releasing a whole new mold for something of such a decent quality.

The big feet seem to hold the kit a bit more stable than Freedom or Justice so i will give Bandai credit for that

Albert Guilot here is a tip of what i did bought a new kit from amazon got the pieces that i needed and then sent it back saying it had missing pieces and as such got a full refund
Personally I like the kit what I like about it is how it looks and the design it's also one of my favorite mobile suits out of the seed destiny. That being said I also have some dislikes. My complaints are mainly weight issues and I would recommend a stand for it. The backpack and weapons do make it a little hard to support and pose. The legs also need to be adjusted at times. The shoulder boomerangs fall off at times. As for decals the only issue I had were with the silver decals that go on the bottom of the wings perhaps it was just mine but they came of a few days later and lost the silver look I'd recommend spraying the kit. Other than that I do enjoy this kit. 🤔

Hey , I got the same problem on the shoulder boomerangs but i find out to solve it . Just remove the shoulder part then remove the little grey color piece that is connected to the boomerang if u i already removed it just push it more so the boomerang will tight up to the piece .
The Destiny was based on an aborted early concept design for Freedom which was supposed to have all 3 Striker packs at once. Aside from the Destiny, this concept was also made reality with the Perfect Strike. While kind of cool for the fans, it's easy to see how it doesn't work that well in execution and makes an elegant suit like the Destiny more of a design mess
The proportion is WAY different than the line art itself. I don't know why the feet is WAY bigger than it should be, It is the same frame with the RG freedom and Justice and the feet shouldn't be like this. Kudo's bandai -__-
Also, by buying hobby japan, u can learn how to make ur own customized kit, if u want a kit so badly, like the mg exia r2/3, why don't make one urself? bring ur gunpla skills to a whole new level! thats where the joy of gunpla truly lies, imagine what it feels like to own something that others cant have! OR, instead of spending extra money to buy MULTIPLE SAME KITS, use that to buy some CONVERSION RESINS developed by the 3rd party, i already HAVE the mg exia r2/3 resin.
i hate seed destiny, but i dun judge a model based on the series it is from, nonetheless, one cant deny that the popularity of a kit is heavily influenced by the series. personally, i hated seed destiny even though it was the second series ive watched, but i dun feel ill towards the gunpla. Still, im going to vote this kit down due to the leg proportion, the mg did a perfect job on the proportion for the lower feet. aesthetically, it "looks" alright.

Woa, that is definitely a nice idea, but judging from the fate of the RG Zeta Gundam, I dont think Bandai will give Aegis a shot anytime soon

Are u able to equip 2 anti ship swords or 2 beam launchers on the back at 1 time, or is the weapon holders on the back similar to the mg?

I love this kit but I'd wished that the wings could go a little bit more far back.
Its probably to help stabilize the kit from its back heavy-ness. Thats my biggest guess.
As everyone else has complained, its proportions are off for whatever reason.

may i know what's the height of that unicorn in inches? seems big despite being 144
uc mobile suits tend to be taller in general as seen with other uc suits like nu/hi-nu and the sazabi. Plus the unicorn was in destroy mode.
As much as i dislike seed destiny, i can argue about how awesome this kit looks,

diru 90 if size matters to u get MG then, but RG looks a lil better especially the wings imo
best option is metal build. if not then dragon momoko version. both MG and rg have problems with stability.

I do not own a Real Grade but reviews for 00 ones say they're pretty solid. Maybe because those are newer kits.
