Jaws, Cujo, Piranha scared me the most as a child. I also saw this cheap movie about ten years ago with some fish it in that was just shockingly gory. Can't remember if it was sharks or piranhas. People were getting eaten. Gnawed to bits, bitten in half. Guts were hanging out. It was a total blood bath with realistic special effects. Not a good movie for plot or acting, but it literally made me wish I hadn't seen it. Once you see certain things you can never un-see them. Unsettling.

The Trio are back for another round in the Monster's Den and what a great topic and selections. I share Chris's fear of being eaten alive and so Jaws remains probably the top of this type of movie for me. All these years later, I still am looking side to side and everywhere when going into the ocean at a beach - always looking for that fin. Plus there's the time I came around a corner in the Virgin Islands and came up on a BAS [big ass shark] and learned I could swim backwards - a tale for another time. Familiar with Pete's choices but Rich and Chris' were not familiar to me so I'll be tracking those down for viewing. Already found Roar for a quick viewing. Would love the three of you to do a sequel or part 2 to these series. Thanks, Chris, Pete and Rich for a great time.

The worsts are Orca, Birdemic, and Tentacles. Eight Legged Freaks, and Snakes On A Plane are both silly and fun too. I saw Stung! lol. Anything with Lance Hendrickson. Pete, another great Monster's Den. Would love to see you guys do a show about horror films set against a military or war background. Films like Outpost, Dog Soldiers, The Devil's Rock, Deathwatch, Overlord, The Objective and the granddaddy of them all The Keep. The soundtrack by Tangerine Dream in that film is spectacular. I'm sure there are many fans of the channel who would be digging a show like that.

The first film that came to mind....Lake Placid;a pretty,well-known film. Though not technically a horror movie - somewhat more of a comedy/adventure: ROAR w/a young,Melanie Griffith. Scary to think living(surrounded by) big cats! Really admire the trainers in that film. Of course; Jaws....made a lot of people afraid to enter the ocean in the seventies - Great movie!!! A little side note about Cujo, he made a brief appearance in Cat's Eye which came out the year after Cujo. You see him in the city still rabid and he's chasing the cat through the streets who ends up being in all 3 stories of the movie. Also the son in Cujo who is stuck in the car is the same actor who played on Who's The Boss for all those years.
