- Massive crowds thronged the streets of Toronto on Sunday to take part in Canada’s largest Pride parade.
Torontonians came out in huge numbers to show their support for the LGBTQ2+ community, which has faced a growing number of threats and witnessed attacks on long-sought rights in recent months.
The contentious climate has prompted Pride event planners to significantly step up security efforts. As a result Pride Toronto said it had spent twice as much money on policing for the event than in 2022.

It's unbelievable, here in Burlington and Oakville Ontario Canada, our shopping malls have huge pride displays. Even going into July they are still there. Burlington Centre, didn't even have a Canada Day display anywhere only the pride display! Unbelievable!
