So, for instance: It’s OK to ask people to submit names of a new product in exchange for a chance to win a prize It’s not OK to ask people to tag themselves in pictures of a new product in exchange for a chance to win a prize." It's also not okay to ask people to tag a friend in a post to enter.
First of all Well done! Never underestimate what you have achieved so far. You need to look at it in milestones, 10k, 50k 100k - each one is really hard to reach. When i have done this in the past, which is completely natural, i always take a step back and have a break for a few weeks. At this time i research competitors and see what they are doing which is different. Often it gives you a different approach.

Okay but if our facebook page is for a blog, how do we advertise new blog posts without sharing a link. It's highly unlikely someone will go searching for our blog post if the link isn't there.

I have been trying for 2 years and i got to 64k followers and let me tell you i feel like i hit a bottleneck

It’s the algorithm, it needs a lot consistency before it gives you more traffic. How often are you posting?

I would say your audience is not set correctly. You need to make sure you are targeting people that could genuinely be interested in your posts.
