It was such a good feeling cutting into it. It was a great burger and the onions made it all the better. The beet salad also took me by surprise at how delicious and filling it was.

i literally would go there just for the backdrop - dont care so much about nthe food! it would be a bonus.. that view down is just so comforting, its like your escape from your 9-5 of buzzling city life, dont you think?
It was such a nice change of pace to be there. We wish we would've stayed longer. It's just healthy to be there.

The ranch has a really nice atmosphere. The view was really good and we would've stayed longer if we had the energy.

You guys really lived the life while you were in Colorado. Look at maria being all healthy. Nice Plant Shirt also!!! How many hikes did you guys do while you were there. Looks so rough last week.
We did just did the one main hike to the Ice Lake basin but did some long walks at some of the parks. We can see why people are very outdoorsy in Colorado.
Funny thing is we commented that we hoped you had a feast after that hike!

I bet that was rough hike. James Ranch seems a nice place to stop by. Not very often you can get food and have that River Valley view!!! Are those cows what they serve up?
It was fine until the last 3rd of the hike. We were doing some practice hikes in Illinois but we were not prepared for the elevation. I was losing my voice at the top and the last leg was so difficult because it got steep I ran out of energy. It was hard going down too. The James Ranch meal was exactly what we needing to start recuperating.
I can't imagine what your legs feel lol.. I felt that jelly feeling and feel immobile the next day haha! Although food does really help! I agree, let them do the cooking for you haha! That burger with the carmelized onions with the cheese mmmmm.. that'll hit the spot for sure! You guys got some good salad too! 😋 Can't forget the fries! Good eats guys!
You just want to sit down and never stand up again 😂. It was so difficult getting off the SUV to pick up food after being comfortable sitting down. The following day was pain but the stretching helped out.
