You can't deny that the Mario Party series is one of Nintendo's biggest franchise and is quite possibly the definitive party game experience.
Mini-games around every turn, boards with so many tricks and traps that every play through feels unique and the fact that things can take a turn for the worse or better is something that is fun to watch and experience.
And as a kid growing up, seeing all the advertisements and reading up on the explosive action of game, of course I wanted to join in on the party... there was just one problem - No Gamecube, No Mario.
Yeah! You wanna talk about me missing the boat? I missed the whole wharf! For 7 entries, I never did have the chance to play Nintendo's Magnum Opus of boards and Bullet Bills.
So you could only guess how happy I must have felt when I discovered that Nickelodeon had me covered with their own spin on the party game genre, and while it wasn't what I was expecting, I eventually grew to love it through replays and is one that continues to see use every year since its release.
Would it ever beat Mario Par- No. But what it did have was the oodles of charm that the series was known for and collection of mini-games that felt like a perfect fit for that undersea sponge and his friends.
So Arrrrrreeeee you ready for another Spongebob video that ISN'T about Battle For Bikini Bottom? Well I hope so, because everything is all set for the actors to break a leg! Good luck out there gang! Fame and Fortune awaits!
