I use the Hyperion max as my race day shoe for upto half marathon. Yes it’s on the firm side but find the foam doesn’t bottom out so when you go all out on the last few miles it really delivers for me
Didn't see you guys during the race, maybe difficult with 27.000 people. Great race, very cold wind before the start. I was a bit afraid of the wind for the final part on the beach but luckily it was ok.
I am not a light small runner and appreciate some toe box room and shoe that does not bottom out in forefoot. I am interested in brooks foam as something that doesn’t bottom out . Loved adios pro 3 but cannot find them on sale right now and brooks is a local company for me so might try these :-)
I gave these a try on 3 different runs and the bottom of my feet killed me on each run. Felt like breaking in a pair of soccer or football cleats. Its unfortunate as I really like the looks, breathability of shoe. You also feel a lot of impact compared to a shoe like Adios Pro 3
Felt good to me once I broke them in. I like the feel of them due to the fact I’m a heavy runner at 225lbs which makes it a great shoe to race in for me. Lol

I have never raced in it but I do a lot of intervals and tempo work in it for that same reason 👍
