I think the RVL is ”relative velocity” and depending on the note velocity played in the pattern, it will ”locks” the first note in the macro (edit mode) as the macro will adjust accordingly to pattern note velocity. Make sence? :) Nice tutorial BTW!!!
I'm having a hard time figuring out how to use macro on the R8 MKii. It's set up a little different than the MKi . There is no user define button. Best I can figure is you have to edit using the shift keys, but I can't seem to figure it out. Also, the manual is confusing and doesn't take me to an edit screen like in this video. Anyone have any info on how to use macro function on an MKii?
