Great tutorial. I've been really contemplating incorporating this into my live shows and now I'm convinced this will work without too much extensive time and knowledge. Thanks a million!
Thanks for the tutorial , I've been using abelton and studio one to run my backing tracks but I'm switching to Qlab cause I want to integrate Lights and Visuals in my performance !! Love the chops at the end 🔥🔥
Hi! Thank you for the video. How do you separate on the Scarlett the click and the backing track? How do you receive on your ears only the click and for the PA just the BT? Is the BT stereo? thank you so much
For this, I send them out of individual outputs. So for a stereo backing track, I'd send it out of outputs 1+2, and then a click out of output 3. Then I can just plug into the headphone out and monitor it all!
@@DrumElectric I've tried that but my 3 and 4 channels doesn't sound, so even when I assign click on track 3 it doesn`t work and I must assign it to second channel and listen my backing track in channel one mono.
Very good video. Do you know how can I do this on a 4 channel interface? I've tried but channels 3 and 4 doesn't work and my clik does not sound. Thanks in advance
Hi Harry: Nice instruction on the Qlab- Im dabbling in Bak Trx and Video- Question- can Qlab output more than 2 tracks like to my AH-QU-24 as an interface? Thx Moe
The best one I know of is called "SCS" (Show Cue Systems). I've only seen it being used a handful of times, but has quite a lot of the same functionalities from what I can tell!
Hi, quick question, what If I already have a video click track all in one, will it work as well? or does everything have to be separate like in your video? Thanks
One of the most helpful videos for QLab ever! Thank you so much bro!
So happy I could help!

Thanks so much for the kind words! Yes, QLab can output as many as you like!
What a legend. Thank you!
No Qlab on windows! Any good alternatives?

So when do we get those other mentioned videos about triggering lights and cameras and stuff?
Great question! They are in the works, just taking a lot of time as sadly I don’t have a permanent lighting rig setup in my studio space
@@DrumElectric Would it be cost effective to rent a rig? Even a small 4-light LED?
That’s the plan!

Should work! It’s just a case of routing the audio from the video in QLab by clicking on the video track, and then the audio settings!
That’s the one for me. 👍
