Thanks Vince!
So many life changing events. I'm pulling for you and your family. If I ever decide to leave the comfort of Japan and return home, I'd like to hit up your area and see the outdoors of the NW.
Thanks Marco! Feel free to hit me up 👍
Congrats to you and Katie and the upcoming second baby! I always love to see your videos.
Thank you very much! Looking forward to sharing more 🙏
Congratulations on the kid. I have 2 young ones. It’s rough at times. Find the balance.
How do you get rid of the property names on that on-X app? I’m so dialed in to gaia! Still wanting to try the new app. Looks cool.
Thank you! Yeah, it's been challenging at times even with 1, so I imagine 2 to be a real test. I agree on the balance though, family first for me.
no options in settings to remove property owner names yet.
AWESOME NEWS!! 👏🏻
Thanks Buddy!
Hey Edward I would like to say To you & Katie Congratulations💝 & Chloe is going to be a big sister now💖. I just wanted to say you make alot of great Content for us & Inspire people like me to do the same outdoors Adventures. My truck is Equipped with everything I need to go camping with my big Purchase was the Deck system last year recommended by you love it my next bigges purchase was the jackery 1000 Recommended by Jason works great. You bet. 🤙
The red bar reflects on the windshield. I have it. Drives me nuts. Check out the paddle shifter Install off the 392. Tazer allows it. It’s nice for Quick shifts to save miles per gallon and quick downshift for crawling down hills
Love function. Check out the moly panels attic for the jeep. Lots of storage.
will check them out, I really like the idea of better storage solutions. Thank you!

@@KrokemOutdoors whooooo!!
Oh sister for Chloe! and full time UA-cam! So many congrats!!
🙏
Congratulations on the new baby as well as the new direction of the channel!!
Thank you Larry!
Your Jeep is coming right along! Now I see where your camp chair was instead of at camp with us on the last trip.
I am 95% done installing my Midland GMRS radio as well. Just need to order an appropriate RJ45 bulkhead to install somewhere in the center console for the mic to plug into.
The only part of the entire install that is visible would be the Ghost antenna itself and two small 6" sections of the antenna wire. The rest of the antenna is tucked away out of sight. The wiring, power switch and the head unit are all completely hidden under the passenger back seat in a void area. Oh, and I did make that mount for the Ghost to lay back when I put kayaks on the truck. It also hides it from view in general.
Yeah, I totally forgot to take the chair out of there and bring it with me on our trip.
Let's get out and test that gmrs radio!
What is the height from bottom of Rugged ridge shelf to the bottom of rear cargo area?. I like the shelf, but not sure my Setpower 65q fridge would fit underneath.🤔
good question. I'll measure it out and post it on the next video. it looks like there is at least 18 inches of clearance from eyeballing it
congratulations on the growing family.👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
Like the words from your song, finally got it, love it.
Edward good on you keep on doing the stuff in the way.
David 🐟
Thank you David! It's quickly becoming one of my favorite songs.
..another great video Master Shin as always..😎🤙
Thank you my friend! Looking forward to the next food challenge with you (except maybe turkey @ss) 😆
@@KrokemOutdoors 🤣🤣🤣🦃🍑
Congratulations to your family Edward for your new family addition! All the best.
Thank you Pete!
Congrats on the baby and the new adventure with full time. Enjoy your videos
Thank you! I'm looking forward to all of the changes coming :)
Good for you. You should come to NY.. Its different. I don'y do patreon but I like this channel and will definitely join. Love supporting
East Coast is on the list! 👍
Crazy world, I was at that spot on Sunday. Cool place, fall colors are setting in. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yeah, it's always beautiful out in that area
Congrats on the healthy baby report, and the UA-cam adventure. Hope to see you on the trails some day.
Thanks Ray! I'll be out there more frequently, see you on the trails 👊
Where did you get that pantyhose looking thing that covered the window?
from Amazon :). I updated the description to include the link for it 👍
Yesss!!! Congrats brotha! So happy for you! 👏👏👏
Thanks Brother! 🙌🏼
Congratulations on your 2nd baby! Continued success!
Thank you!
That is awesome about the next addition to the family! congratulations and wishing you guys health, happiness and the best of luck in the new adventures!
Thanks Andrew! Likewise for you and your family 🙏
Legend. I'll be here for the ride. Let's go, brother!
Thanks Vibol! 🙌🏼👊
Glad to hear that Katie and the little one are all healthy. I am looking forward to the announcement to the birth. Dusty is looking great with the mods so far. Thanks for sharing those and the video. Stay safe. Ken
Thanks Ken! Announcement should be sometime around late december or early january ;)
Congrats to you and the growing family 🎉!
Thank you Jared!
If you do any events in Death Valley or any NP, check to see if you need a permit. If you are doing trail rides etc. you will need to have insurance. Also remember NO DRONES in National Parks. Also check where you can camp. Not all parts of Death Valley allow overnight camping.
Drone restrictions in National parks i'm very familiar with. But permits for camping in death valley i wasn't aware of, I'll have to look into that. Thank you! 👊🙏
@@KrokemOutdoors If you are going to do a group tour. There areas that are restricted to day use. They have maps on the website.
Congrats again to you two!
Thanks Jason! I appreciate it Sir
Congratulations brotha ! Love your videos man I’m excited that your gonna be doing UA-cam full time
Thank you! 🙏
Hey love your channel full of fun and outdoor adventure, I have a Toyota Tacoma and I’m looking forward to build it for an outdoor rig, I like how you setup your truck it’s really nice I’m still learning here on how to setup my taco. Keep the great videos 🤙and congratulations.hafa adai from Guam 🇬🇺
Thank you! The Tacoma is a great truck, and have a great time building it up 👍
@@KrokemOutdoors thank you. I’ll continue to watch your awesome videos so I can know what to install Ty again brada 🤙
Looks great Ed! I admire those who do most of the work themselves! Ill be sending you some larger decals tomorrow. The small ones should be there as they were sent on Tuesday!
Thank you! I will be dropping by the post office box today! Also, I didn't get to send yours out yet, but will be dropping your swag off today as well!
@@KrokemOutdoors I’m gonna give you a shout out in my next video. What size tshirt do you wear?
Congratulations to you and Katie the baby news is great !! Congrats on the UA-cam venture, its a big step for you but you will do fine. It will be great to see the whole family out, and the different content you mentioned. TFS 😍✨👊
Thank you Betzaida! I am very much looking forward to getting the family out as well, if it even means bringing them out one at a time :)
Yay
Another great one- waiting for the weekly!
Thanks Tim!
Congrats on the new addition, on the full time UA-cam thing and for the example you’ve been to me! I’m a dad of 3 and currently working towards the full time youtube thing. You’re my go to channel when I need inspiration for anything off road! It’s expiring to see you doing this consistently!
Thanks Wade! That's a lot of work handling 3 kids ! (i'm barely hanging in there with 1, lol). Good luck on your UA-cam journey! (Also, I just subscribed. Let's go!)
@@KrokemOutdoors man you’re a legend!! THANK YOU! Yes 3 kids is crazy but it’s totally worth it. They keep me busy but being a dad is probably the coolest thing in the world as you know. I love what you’re doing with the channel! Keep it up! Let’s gooooo!
Congratulations to you and Katie Edward. So happy for you to be living out what probably started of as a thought. To be making an income off your own achievements is a rewarding way I believe. Kind regards from, Mario. 🇦🇺
Thank you Mario! It is definitely more rewarding to know that everything now depends on how much more effort I put into this. I appreciate you
Your welcome Edward. You’re going to do well I can assure you. From videos I’ve seen yours stand out buddy.
Cheers.
Awesome videos. Keep up the hard work. I’m enjoying the Jeep content.
Thanks Shawn. There will be a ton of jeep content in the pipeline 👍
Nice one ☝🏼
New to your channel, it’s too bad you’re unable to continue on with the Lexus build. I do look forward to seeing what you’ve done and what is to come. Congratulations to you and Katy (not sure on spelling) on your second child hope all is going well.
Nice man!! Going full time is a huge step. Can't wait to see more content then!
Thanks Jacob! It's definitely a big step and challenge, but I look forward to keep doing what I always do 🙏👊
Love the opening song what is it?!
It's called White Knight, and the artist is Michael Shynes 👍
Really nice mods, Ed.
Thanks Ian!
Do like the older vids, but the channel all about pushing brands now. Lame.
Glad to hear the news about the direction your taking this channel. Enjoy watching your adventures
Thanks Eric!
Congratulations Edward!! So much good news! I’m still in the middle of watching this video, and was going to comment that I really like this Jeep build so far because it’s very simple and more about the necessities. It reminds me of your original videos where you would go back packing.
Thanks Jon! Those days seem like so long ago, lol. I was bummed I couldn't make it to your recent group outing, but I hope to tackle some trails with you in the near future!
@@KrokemOutdoors Mojica told me you might be interested. I made sure to keep it on the down low because I was worried too many people would show up and like you said, for everyone’s safety. I was suppose to spend 4 days up there, but was only able to stay for 2 days / 2 nights. Looking forward to hanging again. I plan to attend overland expo PNW next year, so I’ll surely see you then.
Congratulations 🎊
thank you!
Lol stinkin tree roots.
They're the worst. 🤣
Hit Arizona trails!
Oh Arizona is definitely on the list! Sometime early next year is the plan.
Great video man!
Thanks Ryan! 🤙
Congratulations!
Thanks Henry!
What really blew me away with all your mods is that window net never seen that before really cool
Congratulations! Bring Katie and the kids along on trips more often!
Awesome video
Thanks Lilivi!
awesome ed!
🙌🏼
I was just looking at that shelf for ours. Does it cover over the whole of the rear cargo area? In other words…with the roof off, would that shelf keep items from blowing out of the back?
if you have the rear seats up, it would cover most of the upper area, but I'm not sure if it will prevents things blowing out of the lower cargo area. But , with that said, I know there are cargo covers out there that you can use to put over the lower storage area as well
@@KrokemOutdoors we have the GPCA cover and it sucks….I want something more solid. I think I will grab this and try it out
@@bigbuckeye76 let me know how it works out for you! (haven't removed the hardtop yet, but might try it out before the rainy season starts)
@@KrokemOutdoors Never thought I would own a truck or a Wrangler and now I have both…(2020 Ram, 21 Rubicon) and not sure how I made it this far without them! You must take the roof and doors off it is fantastic. Check out the TopLift Pro….makes taking the roof off and storing it a breeze.
Congrats!
Thanks Vic!
Congratulations Ed! Exciting news for you. Quick question. Where did you get the bug screens for the rear windows? Amazon link if available please. Been looking but liked the way yours fit tighter than the one I have. Thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks! The window screens link has been added to the video description
Nice. I just added led light strip on the rear hatch. Added a switch next the rear 12v outlet(which i used to tap for power). Nice to have a rear hatch light now
I like that idea. will probably look into a amber/red led strip! 👍
If Gobi would have looked this good on the Jeep build site, there's a good chance I would have ordered that instead of the Sting Grey.
that sting grey is a nice color as well!
Can’t wait until “Dusty”/“Next” is run off the trail and we’re introduced to the “next” vehicle. I’m thinking an EV vehicle - a Ford, Rivian, Hummer , etc. Can’t wait for the the “next” overland vehicle. Safe travels Mr. Shin.
Stick around and find out 🤔
One JLU Rubicon suggestion I and some others learned the hard way - upgrading the undercarriage protection before most anything else. At least on the 4xe, some VERY vulnerable parts remained exposed with just the factory skids.
Glad you brought that up, Tom, because I have one on order ;). (Complete underbody plus a separate skid for the DEF Tank) 👍. Will share install video when it arrives
Amazing video has always. Congratulations to you and your family man. I cannot wait to see what adventures that you are going to get into.
Thanks Luke! I'm excited about what's to come 🙏
New subscriber as of this weekend. Really enjoying your vids and binge watching to catch up. Best wishes
Thank you, and welcome to the Channel!
Great PNW content. Subbed and congrats on the new fam addition. 👍🏽
Thanks Eddie!
You need to do the 2wd locker mod
Lift it, gear it, thrash it.
I’m curious what happens to that dash mount system when the passenger airbag deploys…
good question...
Congratulations and looking forward to more content!
Thank you!
You are the freakin man!! Love everything you do
Thanks Roger!
Enjoy the extended summer in the PNW!
it's definitely been uncharacteristically warm out here! I'm ready for some snow 😆
Congrats!! Can’t wait for the future!!
same! Thank you!
congrats on #2!! Please don't make sponsors a part of your videos..... god we all hate that "now let me promote my sponsors"
I understand where you're coming from. But sponsors do help with the channel in terms of providing support for content. What I will make sure, is to not lose sight of the support from you and the community, and not take on any sponsors who are not of the highest quality. I have rejected many offers and will continue to do so to ensure you aren't inundated by junk. :)
@@KrokemOutdoors thanks :) TBH, any item that sponsors any video, I personally refuse to buy, just knowing that the person pushing it benefitted from it being injected into their video, kills all credibility from that person regarding that product, just a sad reality..... woodworking channels are the literal worst for this.....
@@TheAngryCamper Understandable. Thank you for sharing your feedback! 🙌🏼
