Thank god for the tug boat! Mighty workers! Keeping the big boats safe !
You got it all. Fog, fog horn, tug, salutes and bridge ❤
Right on! Thanks!
Great job. Love the communication between ship and tug.
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
I ❤the fog horns!
They do "add to" the situation, good for safety as well.
Great video! Loved the fog and the sun pealing thru plus the banter between the ship and the tug!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Show's how fogs the smugglers friend, and how early collision happened back when no radar, nice post thanks
Great point, thanks!
Watching the Federal Yukon come out of the fog - amazing. Great shot
Thank you!
Fun video! Fog is scary!
Thanks!
Interesting video for sure, thank you!!!😊😊😊😊
Thank you too!
Radio chatter is great! That ship is really riding high.
Thanks, She was coming in empty, heading to the Coal dock at SMET to load Petroleum Coke.
WOW impressive how these ship come in with the fog and be lined up in the middle of the canal . This was great Paul with the extra showing the ship turn and the radio back and forth. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it, it takes a lot of time, glad its watched!
Really like this one today Paul. Great chatter, love the fog and the tug. Great video. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it! Its a gamble with UA-cam putting up a long video..
That view of the Federal Yukon coming out of the fog and into the Duluth Canal looked like something out of a fantasy. Then the vessel fading into the fog again as it approached the Aerial Bridge. Paul, you outdone yourself with this one! I also enjoyed the radio chatter between the tug and the ship as they maneuvered through the harbor. Thanks for a nice foggy video! 9:06
Thank you! Very much appreciated.
It's bad enough to have to drive a car when it's foggy like that. Can't imagine operating a huge vessel in it.
Likewise!
Sounded like the Captain of the Federal Yukon came into Duluth Harbor against his better judgment...⚓
It sort of did! I was a bit shocked they came in at all, even asked Chip on the tug to verify!
That fogs got to be scarry to work a ship in ..I changed my mind I dont wat to be the capt of a ship lol
Neither do I ! 😂
Opening shots, glass smooth water, nothing to indicate/reference scale… the Missouri looked to all the world like an RC model.
😁 Thanks!
That horn! The ending of each honk sounded like a goat blatting. It made me laugh.
and now you made me chuckle! thanks
THanks for these videos. Wonderful! I live along the Mississippi in Wisconsin - and while I do love our tows and barges and occasional paddlewheel, these lakers are just a different breed. Thanks, again!
Glad you like them! Thank you.
That's some serious fog. Horns sounds good thought, spooky
I like the "ambiance"...
This is great information and insight.
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Federal Yukon: Doh curse this ghastly mucky fog!! I can barely see past my own cranes!! HEEEEEY!!!! TUGGER!! I NEED YOU TO BE MY EYES OKAY? AM I NEAR THE LIFT BRIDGE!?!
A little stressful on the Pilot!
@@PaulScinocca I should say so. There's a good reason why they call them fog horns.
The Missouri is operating without the radar on.
GPS ? I really did not notice the Radar not spinning! Good catch.
Paul is this normal for Duluth? It’s thick. Nice change. Good job on the production.
Thanks, we do get a lot of foggy mornings in June it seems. Appreciate the compliment!!
I'd hate to be so foggy that a ship hit in the canal 😢
That would be bad!
Hello Paul Scinocca name is Pat McQuillan.I was wondering how you handle someone painting 6:06 from your vidios. I am really interested in a foggy one from 6:06 spring John G Monson I think.
I'm fine with that, thanks for asking, I'd like to see the finished project.
i wonder if you can record the fireworks of 4th july isaw a video of you from 2021 looks a great show ty in advance if uare in area and nothign to do

Thank god for the tug boat! Mighty workers! Keeping the big boats safe !
