Great interview. Steve's audio was patchy in places though. Had to strain to hear.

Do you ever find your subs skimping on materials because they're buying it themselves? (maybe one coating behind your and your client's back for example)

We have and then we never use those guys again. We have checks in place to "catch" people. And they know if they ever do that they don't ever get a job again. And they value our relationship, and we pay well, so they don't do that.

    Hi Eric !
My father is into this business since last 45 years now. He has been executing paints in the commercial projects. But at the end of the day I feel he is just too dragged into this. We want to re structure this business. I want to get into this business and scale up the residential aspect of this.
How do I go about it. Your inputs will really matter to me.
    Thanks.

You Pay The Subcontractor $2,000 To Get The Materials And Then Another $2,000 When Finished? Or Is It Just A One Time Payment Of $2,000?

We pay our contractors when the job is completed the amount we agreed on.
